Hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the MTR Admiralty station. Size of the Studio 80 Harbour view room is spacious. The windows are 2 way so you have to be properly dressed if you want to admire the view by the windows. All non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge including soft drinks/juices.. are all included. There are also the staples - kettle and coffee machine. Thank you to Booking.com for the complimentary breakfast, it was a nice surprise.

I was mostly concerned about the security of the hotel. Anyone and everyone can enter the hotel and use the lifts without a key card. The public restaurant is located on the top floor meaning the non-hotel guests can easily follow the hotel guests to their room without being checked. Since the windows are 2 way, we had to make sure that the curtains were closed before bath or getting dressed. The staff were always busy working on their iPads and rarely noticed our existence. While we appreciated the complimentary breakfast, it's not worth the hype.

A couple of the hotel staff had a bit of an attitude/borderline rude. Did not expect that level of subpar service in an upscale 5 star hotel. The shower area also smelt off before using.

I like the location with Pacific Place mall nearby. Relatively convenient location and with good public transport network. I like the restaurant on the top floor with stunning view. Staffs were attentive and polite.

The deco is a bit dated and needs more upkeep. The room is too dark at night. Not much facilities in the hotel. Not enough eateries to invite guest over. It is hard to get a taxi.

The quality of Upper House and services seems to be eroding. Quality of in-room dining food and presentation was school cafeteria quality, not a 5 star hotel

The attention to detail for this hotel is impeccable! The interior design is modern contemporary and gorgeous. It was one of the best check ins I have ever experienced with a personal escort to the room and a tour of all the amenities. The restaurant, bar and library are absolutely fabulous. You are greeted with first name basis . . .it actually feel like home. Highly recommend will definitely return.

We had difficulty with the taxi drop off. Drivers drop us off in One Pacific Place not in the exact driveway of Upper House / lobby.

This is an elegant city hotel. Be sure to visit the reading room on the top floor, it has a wide selection of books and wonderful views. The service was excellent. Among other things, the staff arranged for international postage of some items which I had left behind. I highly recommend it.

Loved everything about the hotel. The staff were brilliant and the hotel comfortable and luxe with a fantastic Gym.

The restaurant on the top floor I didn’t think suited the hotel. The style of the restaurant and the food itself seemed Ill fitting.

This is our fourth time staying - and as always we LOVED it!

We loved EVERYTHING!

the unbeatable bathtub is everything. with it facing the sea and the city lights. the staff were super friendly as well.

the bed was bad. it was too soft like there was inadequate support to the human body. the pillow is also pretty bad. my body was sore when I woke up and didnt feel energetic at all. Also the food was so bad. I think any other five star hotels are with restaurants that can easily beat it.

The Upper House is located on top of Pacific Place and it's easy to get to. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was AMAZING and the real highlight of the trip! The bed was massive, the bathtub was ENORMOUS and the bathroom looked out over the hills. There was a TV with a great range of movies in the bathroom and in the bedroom. All in all, the place was fantastic.

The food was so-so. Room service was ordered for dinner due to Covid 19 restrictions. Food was delivered in take away boxes, and left in a bag outside the door. There were no plates nor silverware to eat with. The food was lukewarm. (We have stayed in other hotels during this time and we were provided with a trolley table/ plates/ cutlery, etc. The server pushed the trolly just inside the room and collected it from the hall when we were finished.) The breakfast the next morning was from a selection of about 4 different set breakfasts. Again, all very pleasant, but I do like to select food from a breakfast buffet.

We got a room upgrade and had wonderful harbour to city to mountain views. The suite was elegantly designed with lots of wood, which made it feel super comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there celebrating my husband's birthday, with great food and an amazing bathtub! Thanks to The Upper House team for pampering us!
