Klaus K Hotel, Helsinki

VERY nice and helpful staff, in the reception as well as in the breakfast room. There was a cloth steamer in the room, which was appreciated- this is rare. Pleasant hotel atmosphere in general.

Lack of compartments in the room, I basically could not unpack most of my stuff. Also, no table in the room. The room is rather small in general - it is labeled as “comfort room”, which is a bit of an overstatement. Also, there is a window in bathroom which may be disturbing during night when the light comes through into the room.

I had a fantastic stay at KlausK in Helsinki. I was lucky to get a room facing the courtyard. It was really quiet and clean, and now I'm emotionally attached to their pillows and bed. The staff was friendly and professional, always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of local options. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Klaus K for both business and leisure travelers. The location is great, right in the heart of the city, close to all the shops. Stockmann is just a 5-minute walk away, there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, and a tram stop just steps from the entrance. Looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Helsinki!

Big Value in a great location. Surprisingly, for a hotel restaurant, the food and service is great. The complimentary breakfasts were wonderful!

Located in the city centre, a market walking distance and they assigned me a very quietly located room at an upper floor as I requested.

The price for breakfast was high 25 eur however I didn’t take breakfast.

Surprisingly the bathroom had no bidet which is standard equipment all over Finland. Also, our room didn’t have AC. The hallways and common facilities did.

The mini room is in fact quite small, but to be expected and fine enough for a solo traveller.

Perfect location in the city center, room equipped with everything needed for a short stay, wide selection of amenities at the reception (tea, coffee, cosmetic items, slippers), free slush ice at the reception, possibility to store luggage even after check-out, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast made from local ingredients – truly a wide variety, it was impossible to try everything, option to borrow an electric kettle for the room.

Small room and narrow bed for two people, but we were aware of the room size when making the reservation.

Decor was very nice, staff were really nice, breakfast was quite good, we received a free upgrade as the hotel was busy.

Room was a little bit noisy due to local nightlife, but nothing major.

The breakfast buffet had an exceptional variety and quality of food. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. It was my first trip ever to Finland but I would stay here again for sure if I ever return.

Love this place. 12pm check out and gave me a later checkout too because my flight was later. Awesome. Extra things including coffee and slippers at front desk. Good location, mini bar, confortable bed, hot shower. Breakfast bacon was cooked. Restaraunt downstairs with a tray i can take up to room and eat of a plate. Great location. Smart tv. Love it, its how alll hotels should be !

Great location in easy walking distance to center city, friendly and helpful staff, beight and cheery rooms, and the best breakfast buffet I've ever seen - fresh, delicious local dishes and an impressive variety. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff- they couldn't have done more for us! Great location, perfect for people who have visited Helsinki before and those who are first timers, really easy to navigate the city from the hotel. Breakfast was stunning with so much choice, including more traditional Finnish options, very vegetarian friendly. The restaurant Monsieur K which is on site was lovely, great vibes and decor, not to mention delicious and aesthetically pleasing food, very fresh and well thought out plating. We really appreciated the LGBTQ+ friendly atmosphere, and all of the information available for us to have a great time as a queer couple in the city. 🏳️‍🌈

The hotel's location is very convenient, train station and most major attractions are by walking distance, and there's a tram station right in front of the hotel. The room is clean and modern, spacious for a single room. The breakfast was decent, and there's some minor changes everyday.

There was some issue with my room door, and had to take extra cautious to make sure it is shut when leaving the room. My room was not locked properly on the second day after the staff cleaned my room, I told the reception staff, who was nice but didn't seem to be very concerned about the security issue, luckily that didn't happen again. Apart from hotel guest, other guest without hotel key card using the event space on level B3 seem to also have access to the same floor at all time. The shower area is open, and the surroundings may be wet after taking a shower.

The location cannot be beat. The room was exceptionally well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with shower and a two person bath, and I very much enjoyed the balcony. I also felt the sound proofing was really good. The restrooms on the ground floor seemed very popular although I didn’t try it.

Can’t think of anything except there was no folding suitcase rack in the room.

The range and quality of food at breakfast and the service by reception staff were excellent. The location was also perfect for our plans in Helsinki.

It was difficult to adjust the temperature of the room to a more comfortable level for sleeping.

The location is great within short walking distance to city centre and main landmarks. Breakfast is exceptionally good.

The rooms are rather small and access to the bed on one side was very narrow. The bathroom was tricky as the shower screen was so close to the toilet that it needed to be pushed inwards to use the toilet. After shower, the floor around the toilet was wet. However, it was managable once we worked it out.

I absolutely adore the complete absence of any hypocritical notices about putting the towels on the rack and 'saving the Earth'. Breakfast is exceptional quality. Love your hotel and will come back.

Very good selection for breakfast with indications whether the food has lactose or gluten in it. Quiet room with enough space for 1 person (I took the single room) and good surprise was the clothes steamer in the room.
