Hotel F6 is a lovely base for exploring Helsinki. It’s tucked away in a quiet side street but just a 5-minute walk from the harbour, where ferries leave for the archipelago and various boat tours depart. The central station is about 15 minutes away on foot, and tram and bus stops are just a short stroll. Most major sights in Helsinki’s city centre are within easy walking distance, making it simple to explore the city on foot. And if needed, tram lines 2 and 3 offer convenient access to many destinations. The hotel itself is set in a building that has been beautifully renovated with a modern, stylish touch. My room on the fourth floor was spacious and cozy, with a large, comfortable bed and a generous walk-in shower. A bathrobe and refillable Rituals toiletries added a nice touch of comfort. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, and clearly made with care. There’s also a bar integrated into the hotel (though independently run), serving great cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. Again, friendly service all around.

The hotel is amazing - if I could wish for one small improvement, it would be a coffee machine in the room. There was a kettle, which is helpful, but a machine would have been a bit more convenient.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing- the food was delicious. The staff were so helpful. The bed was the most comfortable bed of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location is so central to everything.

Best service I've ever encountered at a hotel. All personnel were friendly, helpful and reached out to provide more than I asked for. One of the staff wrote a detailed itinerary for a rainy day, to see as much inside as possible. Location is great - to many activities, restaurants, parks and transportation. Hotel is beautiful and provides bikes to use and has a nice center atrium. Breakfast is wonderful.

From start to finish, the staff were great. The hotel provides an extensive breakfast and the cocktail bar is a fantastic experience too. It is located close to the esplanade and within easy reach of the many sights of Helsinki.

Window was opaque so no view at all. Room felt a bit stuffy at times but could adjust air con no problems.

Excellent!Although I still have fond memories of F6 over the past three months, its location is excellent, right in the city center. The service is top-notch, couldn't be better! The breakfast is very sumptuous, and the hygiene is extremely clean. The hotel facilities are of high taste and very beautiful! When we were going to the airport, because we had a lot of suitcases, they kindly helped us contact the most cost-effective taxi that could fit all our luggage. It was very touching!

The hotel was amazing, very nice rooms in a beautiful building. Breakfast was superb, local dishes, made right there in the dining area. I was really impressed about the staff, everybody was smiling and the service was extremely good.

on our way back to the airport, I have asked if I need to order a taxi in advance and was convinced, that this would be not neccessary because they will arrive two minutes after the order. But then we waited for more than 15 minutes after ordering and at the end we need to take a much more expensive company- that was not very satisfying :-(

The double room was perfect, very quite with all the amenities you could wish for. The staff was very helpful and helped us organize our stay. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and love the cocktail bar that opens during the evening.

We all enjoyed breakfast. There are varieties. We love location:: so convenient to reach market square and shopping streets, and meeting points for tours. Front Desk staffs paid attention to our requests and concerns. We all felt at ease while staying at Hotel F 6. This was our second time staying at this hotel. If we have opportunity to come to Helsinki again, we will definitely be with Hotel F 6.

Great location, comfortable room, breakfast is very good, returning in the evening from a restaurant: their bar is a perfect place for a late night drink. Staff is friendly.

The breakfast was a huge disappointment. This is one of the better (and pricier) hotels in Helsinki, yet I've had a better breakfast in most Scandic chain hotels.

Room was beautifully decorated, and spacious. Breakfast was excellent, even catered for vegan and coffee was made from freshly ground beans. Location was in the heart of the city.

Room floor felt a bit cold, had to adjust the temperature. Woolen socks could have been nice.

Breakfast was lacking hot items! Eggs were available but I don’t eat them. No sauna in the hotel! That was disappointing.

It was a nice hotel with a great courtyard and breakfast restaurant that became a bar in the evening. staff were great we traveled to Rovaniemi for 3 days leaving our heavy cases at the hotel in storage.
