HENRI Hotel, Hamburg

Location was central and the hotel had a nice quirky feel. Excellent breakfast

We had no hot water for a shower on the first morning. However staff apologised and dealt with the issue and was sorted by the following morning

Literally everything The receptionist , unfortunately, I do not remember his name was phenomenal. It will definitely not be our last visit . Also, which has to be mentioned (the pet package was outstanding ) The room was spotless as well as the pet package . That made me feel sooooo happy .

We arrived with 2 big, heavy suitcases . But the stairs were not supported by a ramp for such cases🤣. When we arrived . The receptionist did it all and carried both suitcases by himself . Refused even that we give a hand . But at our departure, no one was there to help .

Great central location, very nice uniquely designed room and the hotel itself. Super comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

I travel a lot for work, I must say this hotel had the kindest, sweetest most accommodating staff. They Just want to make things happen for you. The breakfast lasts till midday which is a dream for me. and the sweet lobby lounge is always open with so many goodies to nibble on. Even late at night. The rooms are cosy and sweet. Clean and made with taste and care Makes one want to stay all day inside But the best thing about this hotel is the people running it. An attitude you don’t see often. It feels more like going in a family That want your good at any cost. Shahin at the reception And the lady from Indonesia in the kitchen You won’t forget them.

poor wifi on the 1st floor - (room 1.06 / 1.07 ), not so bad wifi internet speed can be found in the lobby near the reception

What a wonderful experience! The hotel is in the heart of the city, close to the iconic landmarks that characterize Hamburg. The decor is reminiscent of the 50s with significant attention to every detail. In addition, the breakfast was impressive with plenty of great quality choices in a very welcoming/homey dining area. Most importantly, the staff was beyond attentive, which makes the staying an unforgettable experience. Ludwig, Rafael, and Shahin thank you for your kindness. Also thanks to everyone else for working so hard and diligently to facilitate the flawless sequence. The people make the place spectacular! Lastly, the spa was spectacular and the bed very comfortable with supportive mattress and high quality sheets and comforters.

Very characterful

We stayed in the suit room. It was quite large, the beds were comfortable. Room cleaning service provided whenever we requested. The breakfast served by hotel was great and delicious. Tap water was also provided in public area all the time. They also serve cake, cookies as well. Hotel location is very good for reaching out to all the hot spot areas. Staff was friendly. Everything was great. I am going to prefer this hotel in my other vacations in other cities.

Breakfast was good. Nice courtyard. I wish they could exchange money. Euros for Kronos. Within 15-30 minutes to all attractions, restaurants....

Great location, quirky & comfortable interior. Friendly, helpful, young staff. Nice sauna (at extra cost - euro 15). Big breakfast buffet. Rooms are cozy and good sized.

Good location, spacious room and heat rack in the bathroom, variety of breakfast options.

Several stairs up to the Level 1 reception area (which information was not provided in the hotel description); no porter service for those who are less mobile or injured. The mini ramp at the entrance to the reception area was also a slip hazard. Breakfast room was a bit small.

A cute and convenient hotel

The tune we were there, there were renovations done across from us which were noisy. The reception could benefit from a better check in / checkout process. It wasn't the best - was inefficient, long and they both did mistakes and couldn't charge the card that was on the system.

It was clean and comfortable. It was downtown and gave us access to walking a good part of Hamburg.

There was construction on a pretty big scale right across a narrow street and it was noisy. It was a cool day and I preferred to have open windows then to use the air conditioning, but it became too noisy.

Arrived early in the morning and came to the hotel to leave my backback until check in, the staff were really friendly and helpful and also made recommendations on what I should be visiting, being my first time in Hamburg. Got an upgrade to a superior room, which was lovely from their part. All in all, beautiful athmosphere, nice and cozy rooms, geat location. Definitly recommend and I will come again for an extended stay.

No elevator to the lobby. So you’ll have to haul your suitcases up one flight of stairs.

The design of the hotel was lovely and close to the central station, the manager found us a room to check in a little earlier which was lovely

Beds were two singles, not very comfortable as they were poor quality and the area around the train station has some not very safe people so didnt feel comfortable at night. The TV in the room is in a strange position and it’s next to a construction site.

I booked a studio with a kitchen, but they gave me a studio without a kitchen, so I changed it after protesting. But I charged 30 euros for cleaning.

A very enjoyable boutique hotel with a wonderful interior decor, styled down to the very last detail. Comfortable rooms, amazingly clean and an excellent lounge area with light bites available (for a modest charge) just when you need them. The staff were all excellent, as was the top floor spa.

An extremely comfortable hotel with exceptionally helpful staff, excellent location adjacent to a major shopping street and underground station. Good breakfast and options for bread/cold platters in the evening at reasonable prices. The room was very well equipped including a fridge and comfortable easy chairs, the bathroom is open plan but sufficiently separate for privacy, and with a proper door on the toilet. The self service “honesty” bar in the reception/dining area is a very nice touch.

Others have commented on building work on the street with a major construction site. This did cause some noise but not excessive when I was there.

The property was super central and the staff was very friendly.

Great Location -very close to the train station and in the middle of the city center. Staff are very friendly and the room (size M) is really very cozy and spacious. I didn’t try the breakfast as I had to leave early in the morning.

The hotel was a little quirky, but the room was spacious with a large shower, comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and 5 chairs! The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff very helpful. When we arrived a bit early we also had an afternoon snack, which was great.

There’s a lot of construction across the street and in the surrounding area, but the room was very quiet.

The hotel decor style is quirky but pleasant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is extremely central. I was very happy with my stay. The free, light evening buffet option was a pleasant surprise.

Super cosy room with lounge area and comfy bed. Big plus for the espresso machine in the room and available laundry facilities. Excellent breakfast.

The fan in the room had a high-pitched noise at some times. We turned it off and then it was not a problem anymore.
