I love how central it is to places that I go to, rooms are very spacious and comfortable. All in a great hotel to stay

Extremely clean hotel. Very nice decor throughout. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable bed. Very nice continental breakfast range.

Not having the choice of a full Scottish breakfast. Only one bin in room (kept having to take it out of the bathroom into the lounge - not very hygenic).

Convenient location, friendly staff, everything was as expected. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Stunning

I loved the design of the hotel as a whole, including the rooms. The room was small but had everything you needed, and was beautiful. We also had a room on the top floor, where the view of the city was amazing! You are right in the heart of the city and next door to the train station, also with many cafes, shops and bars right at your front door.

The area that hotel is in, while it is very central and handy to get around, is a bit rough and ready, especially at night.

Next to Central Station - perfect Location. Double room for one night was £77 which was very reasonable. Step up against a Premier Inn or a Travelodge. Newest style hotel, Bar open till 2am, Big lobby with lots of plugs for working. Big comfy seats and calm lighting and atmosphere, feels vert 4 star style, not a budget hotel... Rooms were so good. Big flat screen TV on wall, smart TV. Usual soaps, towels, hairdryer, kettle and coffee/tea. Nice big leather seat and table so I could work. HUGE queen sized bed, with big pillows. Big walk in shower and nice clean bathroom. Couldn't fault it. Room 5-03. Paid for breakfast in the morning which was nice for Continental - Choice of bread, GF options, Meats, Cheeses, Salads/Hummus, Pastries, Coffees, Boiled Eggs, spreads... very nicely presented and tasted great. Finally - The staff! I arrived at 9am (Flight times), and had to wait till 3pm till check in. I asked at reception as I had work calls to take, then could accommodate me and checked me in early which was a lovely touch. They also allowed me to check out at 1pm instead of 12 which worked better for my meetings. So helpful, kind and friendly. WIFI was amazing too - fully working and speedy across the whole hotel. Wouldn't hesitate too come back again. Amazing.

Excellent location for our needs ....clean, tidy and warm.

All good apart from the commotion on the floor above on the Friday night..... Slightly disturbing to see the Police presence the next morning....might have nothing to with the commotion I must add.

Stayed for 1 night, hotel next to central station, small but comfortable rooms, good continental breakfast. Hotel spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Very small issue, but there was no shower cap or body lotion. Apart from that we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay

Everything; the hotel itself is very nice and the location can’t be beat, especially if you are travelling by train. We travelled with our dog and it was also a great experience in that regard; we were asked not to leave her alone in the room for more than two hours and had to sign a waiver in case she ruined anything in the room, but that’s understandable and just common sense. All the employees we interacted with were very friendly and made us (and especially our dog) feel very welcome.

Have stayed here before so new all about the facilities. Provides buffet breakfast at extra cost but you are in the heart of the city - so loads of choice. Rooms are a bit small but all that you need is provided.

The roadworks outside detract from the overall impression on approach.

Right next to the railway station, in the middle of the city. Lots of bars and places to eat. The staff very friendly, helpful and the continental breakfast was great.

At breakfast the coffee machine did not work, the milk pour kiln jar did not work, loads of thing ran out like the fruit. The stay was great but the breakfast was not as brilliant.
