Malmaison Hotel, Glasgow

The room and the staff were amazing but the delux king room had two single beds joined together (not very romantic) and the sheets kept coming off and the mate was covers were stained. A bit over priced at £270 a night.

The bed being two singles, the room was over priced, only two teabags!

Comfortable stay. Very friendly staff. Value for money. View from the bedroom overlooking the bins was disappointing otherwise it would have been an excellent stay.

Hotel room was lovely. Very comfortable and aesthetic. Quality of breakfast was excellent. The staff at reception were very helpful and welcoming. They allowed us early access to the room.

Bedroom door had a habit of creaking loudly and violently anytime a door in the corridor opened. A bigger problem during the day than at night. The USB sockets by the bed didn't work to charge devices.

I think that we must have been upgraded because we had a totally different room than my daughter

The design of the room was to our liking. The bed was very very comfy! Shower was lovely. The bar area of the hotel was comfortable and stylish.

We enjoyed everything about the property, but we understand the price was inflated due to the amount of gigs in the area that night.

Good stay, the chap on the front desk is an absolute star, very helpful, the breakfast was great. The bed was a standard double ( used to king-size these days even in budget hotels The walk from the car park back to hotel is up a massive hill There is no mirror for make up, the one in the bathroom was steamed up after shower and no fan, and you can't get close to it anyway The one in the bedroom had a light in the way, hanging where you would stand. So a good stay, not a great one

Breakfast was excellent. Staff v welcoming & knowledgeable.

Air conditioning in the room, extractor fan in bathroom, a large shower, rather than a small bath would be more useful. A hand-held shower head in addition to the rainfall shower head would be useful for those who do not want to wash their hair !

Super staff who were really friendly and very accommodating! Restaurant was lovely and much more in keeping with the high standards of the Malmaison group - I loved Steak night and felt it was amazing value for money and excellent food and service Little errors were dealt with brilliantly by the reception team

Sadly Malmaison Glasgow is in an old building which has become a little tired and much less comfortable than other Mals I’ve stayed in Malmaison can usually always be depended on for luxurious comfortable bedrooms and a feeling of moody decadence. Not this one unfortunately. Breakfast wasn’t delivered to my room and no phone in room 116 to call down to reception so had to phone in on external line.

The staff were exceptionally helpful.

My daughter found a toenail on the bed!

The charger plug next to the bed was broken. The thermostat was very bright and right next to the bed. I had to cover it up by hanging a t shirt over it before we could sleep.

we were in room 112. Room was quite dark possibly the decor.

We are a couple but why only 1 comfy chair. Very dusty on shelves. We didn't flush fully

Fabulous split suite as a standard room, robes and slippers included. It’s the small touches.

Air conditioning was loud and bright which didn’t switch off.

Nice bedrooms, clean and very good condition. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was top quality, fresh produce and we felt we could relax and take our time to enjoy it.

Nothing really, but worth mentioning is the hotel is a bit of a hike up a hill about 20 mins from Queen St station so if you have heavy luggage a taxi is a must.

Rooms very comfortable. Great nights sleep.
