Hotel Orto de’ Medici, Florence

The room is big enough to stay comfortably with 2×28inch suitcases. The larout of the room is cozy and neat.

Needs around 15 mins of walking distance to the train station.

Loved the location, hotel and shower. They have car parking that they take your car and bring it back but it takes around 20 minutes as it’s not in hotel but they have arrangements with a near parking Breakfast was not good no variety at all very basic do next time I’m booking without breakfast as there are many good places around hotel

The staff were so kind and helpful. The location is perfect - walking distance to everywhere you would want to go as a tourist. The room was large and comfortable and the decor of the hotel was beautiful

This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Good location, great breakfast, verrrry clean and nicely furnished inside. The staff is amazing. Ample room for 2 luggage bags to be stored and accessible. Shower was large.

I wish they had a bar inside all year round (instead of just summer) for the rainy days you just don't want to go out and wait for the rain to stop. Doors in Florence open inwards including the bathroom door which does get in the way

Very clean, well located, great atmosphere. Judith was extremely welcoming and made sure we celebrated my wife’s birthday the best way possible.

The hotel is only 15 minute walk from the Firenze SMN station if you're coming by train. Also you could walk to the different tourist spots of the city. Breakfast buffet was amazing, many great options and the staff were amazing starting from check in until check out. The room we got had a beautiful view of the courtyard which was bonus.

We had a slight issue with our room, and the room staff quickly changed our room after flagging this up with them. They were so nice about it all and very professional (many thanks to Ann in particular for helping us out so much). I am very grateful to the staff for changing our room - the room was beautiful, comfortable and made my birthday trip so special; they even gave me some lovely wine for my birthday which was such a kind addition. The staff in this hotel are so so nice, polite and friendly and will happily help you when you need it. The hotel and garden overall is stunning. Furthermore, the breakfast is really nice, pastries, hot food, fresh orange juice. In addition, the hotel is really clean, and so are the rooms. Overall, I would really recommend this hotel and when I come back to Florence I will stay again.

I’m traveling with my parents. We stayed in the 3 people room at one floor(room 71). At first I was concerned about the privacy, but luckily not so many people passed by our window. it’s nice and quiet with the garden view. On the second night around 10-12pm, there are some noises from the upstairs. 🙄(sounds like people moving the furnitures, running here and there) it seems like a random thing.

The location is perfect. Easy access to different places of the city and the train station. The hotel is modern and nicely refurbished.

The terrace is facing the inner atrium which has very strong smell of sewage but the windows just nicely blocked the smell.

The location is amazing, very center of the city, walkable distance so many places. Many placese of interested you can it's about 15 minuts walk. (some other places I would say no more thant 30 minuts by walk). Also the staff are friendly, good breakfast. Many nice resturants around the hotel, too difficult to make decision hahha!

Location was good, but a little walk to get to the major attractions. Not unlike the other places we stayed, it lacked amenities, such as a gym, spa, etc.

Very cosy and clean hotel just a few minutes from the city center! Incredible internet speed, very friendly and nice staff! We were delighted!
