Beautifully maintained. Well situated. Nice breakfast. Very helpful staff. Room #5 is a decent size.

Room #1. The bedroom is tiny. We couldn’t unpack. The bathroom is lovely.

Beautiful palazzo. Our room was gorgeous and so comfortable. We also really appreciated the bottle of Prosecco left for our honeymoon.

Everything perfect - a spotless, quiet, stylish hotel in a wonderful location. All our luggage was lost and Guilia was amazingly helpful and kind (thank you!). Comfortable bed, beautiful garden, spacious room.

We walked all over Florence from here. Loads of restaurants very close. Our favourite was Angiolino - Ai 13 Arrosti, about a 7 minute walk. The included breakfast was great. The garden setting outside was a lovely spot to relax in after a day walking around the city. There is a Wash & Dry laundry right opposite which was very convenient. Overall, we loved this hotel and the staff were so friendly & helpful.

Hotel and rooms were lovely, had a lot of character and charm. The staff was lovely, breakfast was great each morning and was nice to have the courtyard as an option. Bathroom was big and shower was nice!

Great Place with exceptional books and library. Instead of sleeping you would prefer to reed among them Darwin, Pavese, Flaubert and Goethe. Most of them in edition from 19th century. Exquisit taste. Exzeptional place.

Breakfast was exceptional. Beautifully curated property in both public spaces and in private rooms. Stunning back garden to enjoy morning breakfast or a drink at the end of the day. Bathroom in room was a marvel to see with gorgeous fixtures, etc. Hotel very accommodating in calling us a taxi when needed. The room was a little small but the focus on decoration detail made it a magical place to stay.

I like its charming interior design, its color scheme, its cleanliness, its quietness+birdsongs amidst its central location, its good espresso+croissant and most importantly its small yet lovely team.

Like most places in the older part of town, we have to know how to keep plumbing smell under control, which we managed to have it pleasantly under control here.

The location is really good, close to the centre but at the same time the street is not busy and sleeping in the room that is streetside, was not noisy. Bathroom was beautiful and functional - everything was fit comfortably into a relatively small space. We had to leave early in the morning and we were given food bags to take away. I would stay again, liked the design and small garden and closeness to everything, (including nearby parking).

Easy and quick check-in, with clear instructions. Heavenly breakfast, kind and helpful staff. The room was just as beautiful as the pictures, clean and quiet. The location is perfect: quiet environment (early March) yet close to everything. Parking garage 6 minutes down the street.

Located in Oltrarno near Santo Spirito - a great area full of character, bars and restaurants- much quieter than the very busy centre across the river. The hotel was beautiful - a fantastic 13th century conversion - so many original features. Our room (no.2) was at the back overlooking the pretty garden and was spacious , luxurious and comfortable. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

All excellent- only tiny things like having some fresh milk in our room fridge, more hangers and bath robes - but these are just suggestions and in no way deterred our opinion of this lovely hotel.

A wonderful oasis in the city!

The location is a great hidden gem. 20 min walk (very flat) from a handful of historic sites, major leather markets, and fantastic food spots. The staff is very friendly/helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and very good. The room we stayed in was #5, and it was comfortable and intmate (ideal for couples/honeymooners). It is a nice place to recharge after a day on our feet before heading out to grab a bit to eat for dinner. Overall, when we come back to Florence, we definitely will want to stay here again if possible.

The staff is not onsite after 13:00. It wasn't an issue for us, but I could see it being something a guest should know before booking. So we are from the States, and A/C is standard for us. Our first night, we did not have AC due to it not being turned on for the room by the staff. This is because of the regulation, NOT the hotel itself. The next morning, we asked, and the staff was happy to turn on the AC for the remainder of our stay!

Lovely hotel with a lovely garden and a great breakfast. We have been to Florence many times and it was nice to stay in a more 'local' part of the city away from the crowds of tourists.

Great neighbourhood, really beautiful interiors and great bath products. Everything felt curated. The epitome of a boutique hotel.

The only downside was that we were on the ground floor, and the staff coming in for breakfast preparation at 6am woke me up. Otherwise gorgeous stunning decor, smells amazing.

Absolutely delightful experience. Room was clean and very comfortable, excellent bathroom facilities, and charming breakfast area with a lovely hostess. Our favorite was the little outdoor seating area with garden - so relaxing to start the day sipping coffee and eating delicious cheeses and croissants and prosciutto.

We had a room on the 3rd floor , which restored beautifully. Breakfast every morning was fabulous staff were lovely

Our room was very small hard to walk around the bed to get to bathroom especially at night .. limited space for luggage The lights kept turning on in the middle of the night which was a bit startling at first … got used it after a hit and just got up and turned them off
