Hotel Lungarno, Florence

Ok, more fresh fruit and granola would be nice.

Room 579 is strange. Very dark and like being in a cave. The "loft" area wasn't really of much use. The bathroom door would not close. Overall the room felt like a dungeon.

The location and the view were amazing and the staff were exceptionally friendly. It was our birthdays and they arranged balloons and as requested a mini cake and bottle of Sancere our favourite wine. Everything from the deadheading of the flowers to the folding of the base of the curtains was meticulous. The rooms were serviced twice a day it was just divine.

Everything was so expensive, but it was 5 star so to be expected. It was disappointing that the roof top terrace was closed as we were looking forward to meals and evening drinks there.

The friendliness of the staff, comfort and location. Everything was superb!

This hotel is low key but fabulous

The only small minis are the tourists who enter the courtyard to have a view of the river. They congregate there and it’s a bummer.

Excellent food at the hotel. Staff very friendly and warm. The concierge helped organise our stay and things to do whilst in Florence, as well as fantastic restaurant recommendations. Hotel location is fantastic, some great views of Ponte Vecchio and walking distance to many of the cities attractions (it's a small city so can get to most places on foot).

Shower water temperature was slightly tricky, as well as water pressure being very low.

Julia was amazing, from fabulous recommendations to always bringing a warm smile. The location is not to be beat, great dining options and stunning views of the Arno River.

Everything about the property is wonderful and spot on. The location, the building itself, the amenities and above all the staff!!!

The only issue we had was that our room for some odd reason on the 6th floor was still very noisy even after hours. We loved the room and the terrace but the noise level was unusual.

The real 5 stars: there are good cboice of berries, fruites and vegetables .

Having the TV’s come on automatically when the door is opened is annoying, especially when you must raise one out of its cabinet just to turn it off.

Excellent location. Lovely room and great staff. The snacks with drinks are amazing. One staff member, called Martha, was particularly helpful.

The junior suite room was comfortable for a family

Service was disappointing - we were only there for 24 hours yet twice in our stay the key cards didn’t work, they were understaffed in the lounge so what we were told was a 5 min wait was a 60 minute wait to receive our drinks, and I would skip the breakfast at the hotel - we had to ask for plates, cutlery, water, all the basics - all of the extra faff which should be quite basic. Some hotels are accommodating and can be helpful especially when they can see we’re travelling with a toddler - this hotel is not kid friendly sadly.
