Velona’s Jungle Luxury Suites, Florence

This was such a special place! I wanted to stay away from busy city center, but not be too far away where I couldn't walk, and this was the perfect spot. Everything from the welcoming staff, to the design and attention to detail. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and chic. They give you an amazing guide, if interested upon arrival. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Suite was super cozy, clean, modern, and comfortable with a unique and interesting design. Each suite has its own theme. Staff were warm and welcoming and even offered to book restaurants for us based on their recommendations which was very useful.

Location was not very central, but Florence is fairly small so it is possible to reach the city centre by foot within 15 minutes.

Very detailed and extraordinarily beautiful design. Lovely people that make you feel very welcome from the first minute. Veronica and her colleague were so kind to sit down with us and provided the best recommendations for Florence. They even made a dinner reservation on our behalf. Rooms are fantastic: stylish and yet really comfortable and even include free of charge tea, coffee and minibar with mostly local refreshments.

Incredibly accommodating staff and the free mini bar and sparkling water were nice bonuses. Loved our time there! Also, super helpful in booking restaurant reservations.

The room was amazing, with lovely decor and exceptional attention to detail. The staff was outstanding, offering impeccable service, and their restaurant suggestions turned out to be superb. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom! Breakfast was delicious and served just on time. The location is about a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre but it's a very pleasant walk, the tram station is also just outside the hotel making it perfect for travellers with heavy luggage. Absolutely recommend!

I loved the decor and design of the place. Also, the customer service was superb. Alessandro was vey friendly and helped me map out m time while in Florence. The breakfast was tailored to my needs and was delicious. I felt comfortable, slept well, and was accommodated as much as I could be. I will definitely return to Velona's Jungle Luxury suites.

Veronica the host was amazing. So welcoming and had everything printed for us on arrival including her own personal favourite restaurants/ walks and general day to day activities. Breakfast in bed was a nice touch also. Finally, the location was ideal, round the corner from the main bus station where we caught the coach on a winery tour & around 10/ 15 minute walk along the river into the city centre. Thank you to Veronica & all of the staff who made the stay memorable for myself and my partner. I am in my mid 20’s and travel often and reviews is not something I ever do however I was “blown away” with the service I received. PS, best cappuccino in the business!

Location was fantastic, easy walk from the train station, on the edge of the main part of town. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and very quiet for sleeping. Highly recommend.

Everything about this place was wonderful! Veronica and her staff's warm welcome and hospitality got us off to a great start on our stay here, including Veronica's excellent tips and recommendations for the city that she clearly loves. Our suite was very clean and comfortable with gorgeous hand painted wall murals and fun furniture, with a lovely view over the tower across the road. The location was excellent, being slightly out of the main tourist areas but still easily walkable to everything you want to see and visit. Highly recommend.

The hotel was amazing it exceeded my expectations... the decorations the room were absolutely beautiful 😍 the oweners were very nice and helpful and their recommendations were great... the location was excellent... this was really an award end of my trip to Italy.. definitely coming back😍

The owner Veronica and her cousin Mode were extremely hospitable and charming. They gave a personal touch that made us feel very special. I didn't know this ahead of time but the hotel has been featured on the cover of Architectural Digest some years back.

Stylish apartments with many attractive details make your accommodation very unique and impressive. Veronica and Alessandro introduced us the town by handing over a map and gave many useful hints only local people can do. We followed many recommendations and tried restaurants and bars, all reached 10 points. They took care of private parking for our car very close to the apartment including e-charging services. We definitely go back to Firenze and to the Jungle.

Decor is amazing and quirky, yet everything finished to a very high standard. Beautifully appointed rooms, lovely building, good central location. Proprietor and staff were super helpful and friendly

The breakfast was simple and easy to select from the options given and was just enough to help us get our day started. Our host and staff were so helpful from the moment we arrived. She literally walked us to a local restaurant for lunch and gave us suggestions of thing to do near by. When it was time for us to leave she contacted our taxi's in advance for our departure to the train station. This was our best experience abroad so far and we will definitely return!

The property was ideally located close to the tram line and also a short walk to the center of Florence. Beautiful looking building typical of Florence with a stunning large door.

Veronica was a FANTASTIC host, we loved her recommendations and she was so accommodating. The room was cleaned well, breakfast was prompt at the time and they even helped by doing some laundry for us. Fantastic value for the stay

The only thing to consider is to get into town it’s a little bit of a walk, so we ended up making two separate 30 minute walks a day each way, so as long as you know that going into it it’s all good (we still enjoyed the walking honestly)

Velona's Jungle is absolutely amazing. We were greeted by the owner, Veronica, who told us about the history of the building and then gave us n overview of all the best things to do on Florence. She even provided us with a map and marked things down. We ended up having time to do about four of the things Veronica suggested and she was spot on! The hotel itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and the room was perfect. Huge bathroom, rain shower. Bed was super comfortable, Netflix on the TV, and black out curtains. Took ten mins to walk from the location to all the main things and there was a laundry service and mini-supermarket across the road. Cannot recommend this place enough, truly worth every penny.

The place was beautiful. Had everything you could ever need, fresh bedding, towels and amazing local products/amenities. Conveniently tucked away but still a short and pretty walk into the town center. Alessandro was so helpful navigating me around town and helping me dodge some of the crowds. He helped me get reservations at restaurants and made me feel right at home as I was traveling alone. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel was slightly beyond the city center we love walking so it was no problem. There are also several other means of transport close by.
