The only negative issue with this hotel is that it is on one of the busiest streets in Florence, so it was very noisy late into the night.

The rooms were fantastic! Wonderful furnitures, spectacular view luxuriously equipped. The location could not be more beautiful centered and romantic. The team at the hotel was eager to help with all our wishes, and did so in a heartbeat and kindness.

Property is centrally located, lobby is stylish and rooms are well equipped with gadgets and toiletries. Closet was large and the kitchenette was a nice bonus.

Very overpriced, overhyped. Hotel was unable to coordinate private car arrangements for me both at the beginning and end of my stay, (with 1 and 2 days notice). Room on the 6th floor was only accessible through staff elevator and opened into an unfinished space, feeling as though you’re an afterthought and not a special guest. Room itself felt cavernous and poorly thought out, having to move furniture to access eating areas. Feels very worn, with scratches and wear on everything. Shower was so small I had to step out to shave my legs. The fact that the guest area of the hotel is separated from the “lobby” area where staff worked made it extremely impersonal, I went almost my whole trip without interacting with any employees, except for one evening there was a doorman. No common area facilities like a gym, pool, balcony, etc. Would not stay here again, compared to other 5 star facilities in Florence it felt quite subpar.

Breakfast was so-so (surprisingly)

Location was perfect, right on the River Arno and walkable to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful and rooms were clean and in good condition.

Bedroom was small.

We visited Florence as a city trip with my two sons (13 & 15). The staff was very nice and welcoming. They gave us good tips about places to visit. The room was absolutely beautiful. Beds perfect. Airconditioning works well :). Breakfast was very good and complete. Location very easy next to the Ponte Vecchio so all the main sights are within walking distance. Bathroom is closed off from the room and has a lock on it - you never know these days).
