Very well appointed rooms Service was good

Even though I paid for a locked in cheaper rate , they would not reshedule the date due to unforseen Circumstances. How can hotels take your money without actually giving you a service / product . So despite being ill and husband stranded offshore at the mercy of weather . I had to attend with another member of my family .

Outstanding hotel in every way. Beautiful rooms, exceptional service, and a peaceful yet central location. The staff went above and beyond, and the whole experience felt effortlessly luxurious.

Everything, from a quiet but central location, to a warm welcome on a cold windy night. To then have a lovely chat at reception and was listened to. Followed by the most gorgeous room with perfect amenities 😍

Everything flawless. It was sheer paradise to stay here. Classical music greeted me in my room, as did shortbread on the bed & lovely teas and a coffee machine. Beautiful view, too.

The room was very good size and very elegant as well as the bathroom also the bed very comfortable

The breakfast was not Good enough the pofet very small and there is no big choice in the menu but the serving was very good and the dining area very nice

The Bonham Hotel is exceptional and we will be returning, the staff are extremely attentive, helpful and informative. The Bonham Hotel decoration is beautiful and immaculate with some great history information. The Hotel is situated 10 min (Drive) or 25 mins walking from Edinburgh Station, we used Taxi's to get around and they were available with Uber. Lovely location/street, quiet and slightly out of city centre but this is what we were looking for.

The room was so beautifully appointed, elegant and very comfortable, could not find fault with it. Breakfast was perfect, the whole atmosphere of the place was so perfect for us, not stuffy but beautiful. Loved the library.

Hidden gem in the west end of Edinburgh. Beautiful building with magnificent decor. This was my first visit but by no means my last.

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet area of Edinburgh, quite central but tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Warm and clean. Great views from the room and the breakfast hall. Amazing breakfast!

Attentive staff without being overbearing. Beautiful decor throughout. A gorgeous property, lovingly restored in an upmarket area. Food and drink of good quality and value. Easy walking distance to Geoge Street, shops, and restaurants. Lashing of hot water. Secure carparking. The attention to detail in the bedrooms and common areas is second to none, especially when dressed for Christmas. Everything thought through meticulously. A home from home. Our first visit, but we are already planning our second and third!

There was not one single negative!

The propert is very beautiful. We visited over Christmas and the decorations in the bar and restaurant were divine. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms good value for money.

There was an older staff member who was very rude. He was abrupt and grumpy when he brought the room service and he also questioned me needing more milk for my coffee in the lounge. Not necessary! Otherwise the stay was lovely.

Pretty much everything, breakfast is always amazing, location is perfect, staff lovely, calm effortless luxury where we always feel comfortable. We have returned several times and will do again

The bath plug didnt work properly

The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and really helpful. The food was good and the bar was lovely.

My only comment is that there should have been a recycling bin in the room. Otherwise, nothing to add.

The building is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The staff is incredibly attentive and wonderfully accommodating. The breakfast is delicious too.

This beautiful hotel exceeded my expectations from the beginning all the way to the end of my stay, it definitely has a charm and atmosphere. A warm welcome at the reception by Lukas and Alex who greeted me and gave me lots of useful information about the city. The building itself is so beautiful, decorated for Christmas, and situated in a quiet residential area but just a few minutes away from the center. My room was spacious, impeccably clean and with the nice view over the park. Breakfast was delicious, especially a la cart choices, and the staff in the restaurant were very polite and friendly. Coffee and tea maker in the room was an absolute treat. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and clean with a great shower and toiletries. They also serve afternoon tea and it was great. I had a dinner on the first day of my arrival and it was very nice, typical Scottish cuisine, very delicious. Edinburgh is an amazing city to visit and the Bonham hotel is just the right place to stay while visiting.

All attractions were a short distance walk from this brilliant hotel. Has a very warm homely feeling and would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Fabulous. Quiet location in a bustling city. Walking distance to the city centre and Stockbridge. Room very comfortable and warm. Extra bed was very comfortable for my 16 year old son. Warm, efficient and friendly staff.

A classic well established hotel which is doing stuff really well. We were in a great room and the breakfast was fantastic

The shower in the bath wasn’t great I prefer a separate shower
