Ocean Mist is a unique, boutique experience for everyone. The staff are beyond perfection and will accommodate any thing to make life easier i.e ordering a taxi.

The breakfast was a bit chaotic because the room was too cramped and everyone was getting in everyone's way trying to get to and from the buffet.

I loved the quirky style of the 'cabins'. The 'crew' were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect and breakfast, excellent!

I would have loved a small tv or radio. After a full day of exploring I would have loved some kind of entertainment in the room to wynd down

This was exceptional accommodation, had added bonus of a free upgrade on arrival. Breakfast was lovely, great choices even with it being continental, all very fresh!

Great location, right near the tram stop and other bus lines to center of city; nearby restaurants; staff agreed to accept our luggage early while we were on a three day trip to Isle of Skye and then again held it on our last day when our flight to Belfast was in afternoon. VERY accommodating!!

Ideally located for stay in Edinburgh for the festival. The boat was very comfortable and the staff went out of their way to make our stay exceptional.

From the moment we arrived to we left the service we had from all staff was exceptional, their attitude to all was a pleasure and other hotels etc could learn a thing from the staff on the Ocean Mist. The reception staff(sorry didnt get any names) were so welcoming and gave great explanation about our stay on Ocean Mist The cleanliness, our quirky room was so cosy to return to after a busy day, the cocktail bar and happy bar staff ended our day with great chat, smiles and delicious cocktails The breakfast staff were full of information and helpful hints to make our visit to Edinburgh more enjoyable, and the continental breakfast was delicious

Beautifully appointed with elegance and charm. Service was professional and friendly without being overbearing. Lady serving breakfast was superb as was the Cocktail mixologist who produced two exceptional cocktails

It's a boat so floors are sloped.

This is a magical place to stay. Our room ‘Sir Harry Newton’ was easily accessible, a good size and had the best bed that was not only beautifully presented but large and comfortable. Every little detail onboard has been thought about to keep the ambience authentic 1920s. The old phone next to the bed to the pull chain toilet. The toilet rolls are stamped and a wax sealed letter welcomed us into our room. The shower was hot and pressure was good. The toiletries plentiful and expensive. The breakfast was continental and plenty of variation with cereals, fresh pastries, cold meats and cheeses, juice and tea and coffee. All served in the upstairs Lounge by staff in naval uniform. This Lounge is later the bar which serves cocktails and any other drinks with a bowl of popcorn. Fabulous. The number 16 bus at a stop Close by gets you in and out of the city centre for £2.20 for a single, or £5.50 for an all day ticket, so being slightly out of the city isn’t a problem. You can walk to The Royal Yacht Britannica in about 10 minutes. We could have stayed a longer.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about the Ocean Mist.

Staying on the boat was a unique experience, with a great vibe and wonderful Edwardian style. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. Don't miss special cocktails in the copper ceiling bar.

This boat is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. We were.given the Stateroom which was excellent and spacious. Staff (everyone we met) were lovely. The bar staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. Bar was very quirky and we really enjoyed having a drink before and after going out.

Breakfast was just continental so very good as we were not tempted with full breakfast. The staff were all exceptionally helpful.

We had a relaxed and extremely enjoyable stay. Ocean Mist is in an excellent location and the staff are all very helpful and welcoming.

This beautifully refurbished boat hotel was quirky and very original, designed by the owner. It had the feeling of a bygone age. The setting on the water in Leith was great, within walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants and just around the corner from Britannia!! The staff were so lovely and nothing was a chore and made our stay what it was. The trams made it easy to get into the city and was just a street away.

I love being outside and while the boat had two levels where you could sit outside ( which we did every day ), I felt the seating could have been more robust and softer on the derrier. That said, it didn't stop us enjoying the outdoors. While rooms are darkish I realise it's a boat with portal windows so really cannot moan.

Our second stay here. Love the rooms, breakfast and the bar in the evening.

Fantastic hotel concept! Parking was dead easy and the rooms stunning. All of us were extremely impressed with the beds! The staff were superduper and we loved the breakfast as well. Sadly we arrived at 01:30 so the bar was shut but it looked well stocked!!!
