We love everything about this hotel we stay every few weeks and we love it the hotel, bar, restaurant and staff always consistently well trained, polite and attentive

I believe what sets you above others is the quality of the staff. The kind caring way they treat us. On the first day after a long international flight, our credit card did not work, after 3 attempts/call and a long time, it still did not work (that night and call 4-got the job done) However, the staff was exceedlingly kind and patient and made a very embarrasing situation, much better! The doormen were always friendly and kind and the concierge gave us a GREAT dinner suggestion, that was spot on what we were looking for!

The warm welcome, the beautifully furnished room with all necessities provided and the added touch of a complimentary box of chocolates. Lovely!

I absolutely loved everything about the Fabulous Amazing Merrion Hotel. The staff are exceptional, they make it look so easy and their attention to every detail is Outstanding. Fiona, John, Raveen, Robert, Michelin and all of the Amazing staff at the Merrion we Thank You so much for making our stay so special and memorable. My sister Olga had the most fabulous wonderful Birthday in the Merrion. We loved every minute of it. We are so looking forward to returning. I highly recommend the luxurious and divine Merrion hotel, with the most Welcoming , Caring, Kind, Thoughtful, Helpful and Friendly staff ❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What is there to not like?

Everything - the staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are fabulous, spacious and fabulously comfortable. Food in the hotel is first class.

We ate in the excellent Patrick Gilbauy restaurant, the food was sensational. A very small gripe was we asked for a bottle of the house white wine that we had drunk in the bar, it was a very pleasant French Sauvignon, the waiter said that wasn't available in this restaurant and offered a similar wine that was 143 euros ! We ended up with a New Zealand Sauvignon - Framingham which was a very reasonable 75 euros ! That aside everything was fabulous

A Truly Exceptional Stay at The Merrion Hotel I stayed at The Merrion for 3 days and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff are incredibly discreet, kind, and genuinely make you feel special. The level of service is outstanding. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, and the bed was hands down the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I didn’t try lunch or dinner, so I can’t comment on that, but the outdoor terrace is a lovely spot for an apéritif. The gym is quiet, very clean, and well-equipped, and the pool feels truly luxurious. Finally, the location is ideal – central, but peaceful. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a refined and relaxing stay in Dublin.

This is a truly superb hotel in the heart of Dublin providing genuine 5 star facilities, comfort and service. We could not find fault with anything and would gladly stay there again. We had one of the garden rooms which look into the charming courtyard area of the property. Very quiet and peaceful at night despite the city centre location.

The Merrion never fails to deliver, the staff, the comfort, the attention to detail, all of it. The gift of a perfumed candle for our anniversary from the management was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks for a truly great stay.

Nothing at all. It was glorious. If I could put a helpful hint though, a little bottle or carton of fresh milk in the fridge would be brilliant instead of the usual milk capsules. That would be just wonderful.

For this price you expect perfection, unfortunately some minor details are not perfect. But it is probably very difficult to get good staff. Nevertheless the cleaning team is outstanding, thank you.

The staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. I was blown away with them. We were on our wedding Anniversary and our room got an upgrade with a complimentary bottle of champagne and beautiful card. That was really kind and appreciated.

Wow, what a joyous and wonderful experience. The attention to detail was exceptional. Our housekeeping lady even put a lovely top on our unfinished bottle of champagne in our room. What exceptional staff each and everyone.

We could not think of anything that we didn’t like.

Fabulous experience as always. Staff couldn't be more helpful and facilities were perfect. Although I live in Dublin, I still can't enough of The Mer. Keep up the great work. P.S. Daniel in 23 makes a mean cocktail.

Cellar bar closed on Weds. Service very slow in all areas. Drawing room furniture worn and not very comfortable. Breakfast was poor for the price especially the gluten free options/setup (not even labelled)

The standard of the interior design, exquisitely furnished in a style befitting the 18th century period residence. The art works are a treat alone.

45 minute queue for breakfast. We were told by staff that this was normal because it was a Sunday morning… There were other areas within the hotel that breakfast could have been offered, which would have saved our waiting time, and surely if this was standard for a Sunday, as was suggested by reception staff, then the demand should be anticipated with a plan in place. Also, just want to say that this was our 3rd time staying, and we had never experienced such a delay at breakfast before…
