The Marker Hotel, Dublin

Exceptional hotel with best in class service, food, and the best for children. They treated our children with such care and comfort providing them special treats that made them feel warm and welcome. Sleeping quality is excellent with customized pillows and other high quality finishes. This is an exceptional hotel and stay.

Our favourite hotel in Dublin. Excellent service, comfy rooms and tasty cocktails. Wonderful leisure centre and spa.

We stay here at least once a year for about 10 years, we thought a nice “welcome back”would be good as the receptionist’s should view our history. We are always asked have you stayed here before? Not a negative but just a small touch that could be good for the hotel.

Great location- not busy but close to the centre and the arena, good spa facilities, a comfortable bed, attentive staff

The room was a bit rundown for the price charged; a cracked sink, the window was sealed and there was a smell in the room like someone had been smoking

The food was gorgeous, the choice of drinks amazing and the level of service was fantastic. Really loved the room, beautiful design with everything we needed. Coffee machine, herbal teas, bottled water with a fully stocked mini fridge (which you have to pay for everything you eat/drink)

Parking is not free cost us €32 for the night also the car park is not well maintain. We were forced to that a long route to our car as there was a drug addict asleep in the doorway to the car park. We requested earlier check in and ended up waiting an extra a hour and 20 minutes. Very slow check in.

I loved everything about the hotel, could not fault one thing

On google maps the hotel is not listed correctly, it kept bringing us somewhere else. We wasted so much time trying to find it due to google maps not being up to date. The car park is very limited. I travel a lot for work but think the car park situation would put me off staying there for work

I was extremely impressed - the hotel went the extra mile, with a special surprise in our room for my fiancé's 30th birthday. The breakfast was exceptional!! Thank you for an amazing evening :)

room was so modern, amazing style bathroom was amazing, lotions and conditioners important, especially at the price you pay choice of dining at the rooftop bar was excellent

worst thing for us was our room was meant for someone else. we had personalised note and a letter, a bowl of fruit and a lady called to the door with a chocolate. I feel if they knew it was just us staying we wouldn't have got the same treatment, and it is the personalised extra touches you don't have to pay for that make a place special, and encourage you to go back. the woman at the front of house would not let us up the the rooftop, even though we were guests, saying that it was full. we insisted and when we got up the whole place was nearly empty.

Had two taxis booked through the hotel cancelled without being informed. Staff said this happened now and again but i thought this was poor.

The room was very well laid out and very comfortable and very much to five star status. I have to say I thought that the breakfast, whereas it was good was very overpriced an €32 per person, particularly as the buffet section was missing a number of items, in particular bread. I did not frequent the bar during my stay.

I covered the cost of the breakfast in the aforementioned which was very over priced for the product delivered. I had just one un-pleasant interaction with one of the door men whom I thought was very arrogant, however the receptionist interceeded and immediately resolved my issue. I will say that overall the staff were very pleasant and efficient.

We had dinner reservation yesterday and when my husband went too check, he was told the reservation was cancelled as there was an event and nobody bothered to send an email or contact us and we had gone on a day trip to Giant causeway and were told we could have dinner at another restaurant at the facility and ended up having dinner at the roof top restaurant , where the food was ok but did not meet the expectation , I am sorry to say this but something which you need to know

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Dublin and loved this hotel location. Kevin was exceptional for providing info on attractions and best ways to get around the city. He is a gem.

Our room was an adjoining room and we could hear the people next door chatting late into the night.

Breakfast was outstanding! So much choice and delicious! Spa was lovely. Staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Especially porters on arrival and departure re looking after luggage. Also our room was upgraded! Loved the towels and shower .The bed and pillows were very comfortable . Loved the complimentary Irish shortbread and pillow chocolates and bottled water - thank you !

Our tv didn’t work at all and we reported this to reception. Someone did arrive to attempt to fix it but with no success- so had no tv for first evening. Someone came the following day and it was repaired. We were disappointed that the bar area’s kitchen closed at 8pm on Saturday evening as we were hoping to eat there.

I booked because of the parking mainly but they don't really have parking unless you want valet parking. If you don't want valet parking, you have to walk out of the building and around the corner to the parking.

Amazing hotel in a modern picturesque part of Dublin. Spacious, well-equipped rooms finished in contemporary style. Super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and excellent service. It was our third stay and we got an upgrade to the corner suite with the view of the dock area. We absolutely loved it!! The spa and wellness centre is one of our favourites - tranquil atmosphere, large jacuzzi, infinity pool and comfy loungers really helped to relax and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. Looking forward to coming back!

The breakfast was Great..I liked buffet had nice spread also menu choices were delightful..having both makes it an exceptional and enjoyable experience..the server Nikki was excellent..she couldn't do enough for you..Also the doorman Kevin was very helpful and knowlegable of Dublin..Also the lounge/bar was great to hangout,eat and socialize..

The location was ideal as it is very close to town and restaurants and shops. The staff were absolutely brilliant, full of smiles,welcoming and happy to help no matter the time. They solved minor issue we had even in the middle of the night, even the doormen were welcoming. The hotel was also clean and facilities are well maintained. I’m happy I went with the reviews and booked the stay.

5 star hotel situated away from the madness of Temple Bar down by the canal. Great staff, great facilities, just a bit pricey. Breakfast is €38 each. All in all, a good trip.

Absolutely exceptional in every respect. The first time I've ever been to a hotel (and I've travelled worldwide and extensively) where excellence was the norm. Kevin the doorman was a legend, sooo helpful and went above and beyond.

The hotel is fantastic ive styed twice now and its one of my favourite hotels ever. The staff are great, the rooms are so comfy and we used the spa a few times too.

Amazing check in staff - Ariane and Astrid. Breakfast to room was late and had to be brought in 3 consignments - first was the breakfast, 10 minutes later the tea and coffee and 2 minutes later the toast.
