Very clean.(4 beds room) location is ok, but at night didn’t feel THAT safe..

The receptionist was not friendly at all. I booked a bed in a 4 bed room and she claimed I booked one in a 6 bed room… she started saying I had to contact booking bc it was a problem with their system.. I showed her the data on my app and she very unwillingly provided the key to the correct room. Bad beginning. But apart from that all good

Staff was nice, beds were super comfortable.

Was here 6 years ago and I have to say it wasn't the same quality I expected. The bathroom had a draining problem, was dirty and the room itself was messy. The toilets were dirty. The beds were also very high up and the railings of the ladder to climb up were hard to hold on to, I feared slipping and falling. The hostel is also quite pricey per night, I expected more.

Very spacious communal areas, very comfortable communal areas. Good big screens to watch the European football championship matches. Nice to listen to the Karaoke when it was on.

Not much to not like. Could have done with more chips with the main meals. I am a smoker. Maybe we could smoke in the inner open areas till later than 10pm

The pizza i had for dinner and the large breakfast were both great. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable and as private as a bed in a 6 bed dorm could be. It was good to have a bathroom with shower for the 6 bed room. Overall everything was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was annoyed to have to pay Eur 6.50 for a padlock - why not rent a padlock for the one use? Also, Eur 4 to rent a towel is a bit expensive. The bathroom could do with some hooks or shelves for clothes and maybe disposable bath mats to stop the floor getting so wet.

Quite loud with street noise and people in the hall. The doors close quickly so you can hear people slamming their doors as they leave and enter their rooms. No quiet hours so people shouting in the halls at night

Good location, facilities within the hostel were good

On arrival, none of the plug sockets in the room were working and we were told maintenance would come at 4pm, by this time we were leaving to go to a concert and reception then told us maintenance had left at 3pm and they will give us a new room as we were leaving for the evening. This was great but it could’ve been done on the first mention of our sockets not working.

Good location, good facilities, alright pricing, decent vibe.

Like many Generator locations, there is always lots of school groups that kill the atmosphere. The karaoke was fun one night, but having it four nights in a row was obnoxious. I feel like privacy curtains for the beds would also go a long way at this hostel. Ventilation in the room was not the best.

Location: Right in the Smithfield commercial area, it is very well connected. The Luas is just outside, there are several restaurants around and the city center is a 20 min walk/5min tram away. Room: Everything was spotless and well-maintained, with no smells or stains on the linen. Bathrooms: Always kept very clean and dry. Staff: The staff is friendly in general. Lockers: Good system to keep your stuff safe in the room. There are also separate paid lockers where you can store your luggage, in case you need to kill some time after checkout.

Room: The room was sweltering. There was one small window that was broken so did not open wide. During the night it became so hot, that everyone would smell each other's sweat. The reception staff disregarded my issue initially. When I could not sleep for three nights, I became adamant and demanded a solution which is when they gave me a fan for the room. They could have done this on the first night, only if the staff was considerate enough. Staff: Most of them disregarded my complaint about the heat, only one gentleman heard me out and gave me a solution. Sound: There is a bar downstairs and its noise comes to the rooms until late at night. Workspace: There is no space to sit and work. It's more play and no work at the hostel. Food: Outside food is not allowed, and there is no accessible kitchen for the guests, which means either you eat outside everytime or eat at their restaurant.

Nicely finished with a good atmosphere. Bedding was lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of hot drink facilities

The venue itself seems huge with loads of great space for socialising. It was well maintained and mostly clean.

(This may have just been the room I was in) we could hear EVERYTHING outside, which didn't help when the front door seemed to be a hang out to speak to the bouncer. It also seemed that there were constant taxis dropping people off and or picking them up. Bed was comfy so just bring good earplugs.

The height on the lower bed was too low. The upper beds had much more head space.

Convenience and price.

The bathroom had mold.

The location is not that bad. It’s very huge facility including bar/entertainment, which would be a attractive point.

The men’s room I stayed was too stinking/musky smell to spend free time. I just slept. And shower room was so small and block no sound. I couldn’t use comfortably.

Beds were not comfortable and noisy. Banging doors from other rooms. Bathroom in room was not clean.

The room was very clean and considering there were 15 girls in my dorm, it didn’t seem too crowded or claustrophobic. I think this was largely due to the 3 storey bunks

All 15 of us all shared a bathroom with only two toilets and two showers. This was okay, but the showers only had shower curtains and it didn’t feel very private showering.

Shower wasnt working last 1 mens door beside it inside lock broken On tuesday 8pm cleaner on her phone talking listening to music very loud so couldnt use toilet.
