Great location

Very little parking

Very secure, great location, friendly staff, good value and nice breakfast...I'm planning to make this place my regular for Dublin stay overs.

There was a sewage smell in the bathrooms the entire stay. If you kept the lid down on the toilet, it subsided a bit.

- Located at Smithfield Square, the place is fairly central to most important places in Dublin - The hostel itself has a lively vibe - The bar downstairs, the gaming area, in totality is a chill place, where you can get yourself some Irish Breakfast and Guiness - Visante at the reception, lovely boy, very warm

- The flush in the washroom in Room 415 was broken. After complaining 4-5 times, it wasn't fixed. Had to use the common washrooms downstairs. Real big bummer, if you ask me. - Too many beds fitted into small-ish rooms. - The security at the gate after 11pm begin to behave a bit boorish. Guess they forget that the customer must always be treated gently. It's a non-neogitable.

It was very noisy.

I greatly enjoyed how close it was to the city center, especially with how close to the luas line was. It made traveling around so much easier, and it greatly helped my journey in Dublin as well as meeting with friends of mine who I haven't seen in months.

The 318 bedrooms flush doesn't work!

The rooms are clean and the linen is crispy white.

They need to consider allowing guests to choose if they want a room with females only or a unisex room. It's creepy to wake up in a room with unknown men. That can be dangerous if a female traveler is alone in a 4-bed room with 3 male roommates.

It's very good that visitors are allowed. The breakfast was good for 6 euro. Affordable prices are the most important for a hostel.

30 dec the restaurant was serving pizza only. If you offer extra service such as breakfast or a restaurant, it is nice that this is always available and not subject to conditions.

Location very central. Very nice staff at reception. Rooms are spacious enough and clean as well.

Only stayed for a day so not much to complain about really.

Price and location good.

The room wasn’t clean, it was very dusty and the bed frame was dusty and so were the floors and skirting boards and frames. The bed was clean though. The shower was mouldy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while (room 208)

Mens toilet always seem b some leak from mens toilet.on hostelworld wrong date was on system day after fooling me thinking it eas that day i booked.Reception did cancel monday but cost me more money to hostleworld as id to book again.Could just swapped it and sorted it.no fridge or tv channels if i want see irish programmes.

location not bad , breakfast poor , just cheese and pork , better to have my own room , but the price was crazy £75 /night in easyhotel

This was okay but so loud there was fully a bar in the lobby. My locker in room was bent could not add lock to or pull out of my bed because of broken metal.

Great location. Had a deluxe room which was a good size, we were happy with facilities and staff were helpful. Didn’t try breakfast/bar but the area looked really cool and lively. Perfect for young travellers!

I think they were rushing getting the room ready for check-in as it was a bit late and the cleanliness of the bathroom wasn’t 10/10 but nothing we couldn’t look past.

Good location, comfortable bed

Not a comfortable seat anywhere in the building! Nowhere to truly relax. Bathroom was not great; flush very temperamental, nowhere near the shower to hang towel and no shelf for toiletries. Breakfast was awful! The bread rolls were so hard you couldn't cut them, stale and overcooked. Very disappointing.

Clean rooms and toilets. Staff are nice and friendly. The pub at the ground floor.

The pillows are thin and can cause neck pain. The barrooms are flooding sometimes and water clogs.

The room was clean and quiet. I had a 4 bedroom dorm which was mostly me for the most time. I didn't need to bother anyone. Perfect for me. Check in was smooth and there is always someone at the reception. Always helpful people around

The bathroom was not super clean. Shower was dirty and looked not well maintained. Bring some locks, because the locks to lock your valuables are 6.50€ (2023).
