The location was good as it was in walking distance of the city centre. The beds were comfortable.

Having to pay for the use of a towel.

It was hot in the room as compared to the outside temperature and the opening of the window could not be properly adjusted. The bathrooms and toilets were practical enough but quite far from the dormitories.

Vibe in the bar area is quite cool. Beds are ok and linen clean.

Ventilator in the bath was broken and therefore mould on the ceiling. Wasn’t fixed eventhough we told receptionists several time. The whole place downstairs (bar, toilets, eating area,…) needs a thorough in depth cleaning – all a bit filthy.

A bit grubby, one light bulb not working, Some of the charger sockets not working either. Found a used condom wrapper under the bed!

Communal areas and facilities were good alongside the size of the dorms. The staff were also friendly/helpful.

Bathrooms could use some care - nothing dirty however faulty handles on showers and broken soap dispensers. The rooms (and main body of the hostel) were also incredibly warm.

Bit of a party hostel, pictures overplay it, bed and dorm uncomfortable and steps to top bunk unsafe and 4 quid for a towel is unfair for renting and bathroom smells

This hostel obviously caters to a younger crowd, with a bar area and lots of fun activities. I was a bit worried that I would hear the nightime noise, but was pleasantly surprised at how well sound proofed it was. I went to bed early as I was tired from a day of travelling and heard absolutely none of the noise from the bar or lobby area. The area is fine, close to a Dublin Express bus drop off point which was a big plus. I stayed in a female only dorm, and the other people staying were also quiet and respectful of the others in the room. There are a few dining areas right across the way. Staff were friendly and helpful

Like many hostels in Ireland and Europe, the rooms get quite hot and stuffy and night in the summer. They did provide a room fan, which really helped. It isn't quite as central as some of the other locations but just a short 10-15 minute walk into the action.

We had a private room, it was spacious and quiet, bunk beds were comfortable, but not really long enough for tall people. Room had many windows with light blocking curtains which was nice to have.

Private bathroom could have been cleaner, it was ok for a one night stay. Luckily we didn't need all beds in our room, one was very close to the door and next to the bathroom, it would have been loud from the corridor and a bit smelly from the bathroom.

Very crowded. Bunks stacked three high. Small storage lockers, back pack hardly fit.

Staff were excellent. Helping us when we were stranded without our bags from the airline. Mattresses were comfortable and bedding was clean. Surprisingly quiet by midnight considering it’s a party hostel. The bathrooms and showers were clean Centrally located.

Room was incredibly small and VERY hot (despite a good sized fan). Avoid the rooms looking over the courtyard for this reason. For the cost of four bunks with shared washroom facilities, the value for money is poor compared to many other places we’ve stayed in Europe. In fairness, this could be an issue with Dublin in general. There were a number of drug addicted people in the area, we were approached and didn’t go out at night.

Big hostel in a nice location. Has a bar, many games available (to pay). We had a 4 bed private room. It was pretty nice, even had a balcony.

The shower design is a bit bad, there is no close place to hang your towel, no carpet and once you open the door, the whole floor is wet.

It has a great vibe and atmosphere. Lots of options for staying as well. Close to local transit as well. Fans in the rooms were a nice touch with it being humid from rain it helped keep some airflow.

Not sure if it’s normal or from use, but pillows are flat as pancakes. Made it a little uncomfortable for sleeping.

Handy location, good value. We were a party of 5 and had a private dorm with three bunk beds.

The room was very stuffy and hot, but with the windows open (and even when closed), it was quite noisy outside until the early hours of the morning.

Bit far out, very pricy- but that’s Dublin, nothing exceptional about the hostel really, too big to have much of an atmosphere

We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk from Houston railway station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. The atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe throughout. What really stood out, though, was the staff, everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful.

Good and convenient location near Transit. An easy Uber pick up for the airport. Room was clean.

Noise in the hallway is from partiers, although front desk and security did respond once we went physically to the front desk. They didn’t answer the phone so we had to walk to the front desk.

No desk or table in the room, no facilities to heat any food.

The social area was amazing, great to have a bar and restaurant with games like pool and table tennis among many others. The bathrooms were big so I never had to wait to use the toilet or shower. Having a sink and mirror in the room was nice too.

Room was very hot with no air conditioning. It was good that the halls were clean but they stank of cleaning product, maybe too much. Elevators are very slow, I opted to use the stairs

Excellent value for money. The bar attached to it was very handy for meeting new people. Easy check in and easy to navigate the building.

No initiatives to help solo travellers meet. The bar was quite expensive. I did not like that the bar was open to the public.

The bar and events that were on in the evenings were lively and had a good atmosphere. The reception area also had a more relaxed vibe during the day should you just want somewhere to sit around for a little while.

Our room wasn’t very clean. There was visible dust and dirt on the floors, window sill and bathroom. Along with the shower and sink having various dirt marks when we arrived. The hairdryer in our room was also broken which wasn’t ideal as we didn’t pack one on the trip and had to pay a deposit for another one which didn’t feel right as it was a standard item for the room we picked. Over all I think this is all stuff that could and should be looked at before arrival from hotel staff and it was missed.

this bar was super nice and fairly reasonable prices, people staying there were for the most part pretty cool and the location was an easy walk into town

i was placed in an all boys room as a solo traveling young woman. not cool man not cool

The bar and food were both very good with plenty of entertainment too.

Very hot, bathroom did get very wet too. Electric sockets/light did not work on our bunk

The atmosphere and the location

The floors were sticky and the quilts were filthy and smelled

Rooms were tatty and smelly.

The public facilities are excellent, the rooms are clean but look a little aged in places.

The beds and bedding were not comfortable. The bed is hard and the pillow was too thin, even when folded in two.

Everything was very streamlined and easy, the vibe in the bar area and reception was fun.

The bathroom was the biggest let down, a bit dark and dingy and we opted to not shower at all rather than use it.

What I am saying is not new but it is not comfortable and since last year there is no place to eat or have a cup of coffee or tea only if we take from the hotel bar or restaurant

Mattresses uncomfortable, need fans for air circulation, need hairdryer rental, Tower views are great.

The location was close to many amenities that was very convenient and also pretty easy to find and get in

The room was missing the toilet paper and then, i had to request more to the reception but on the first time to request the toilet paper never arrived and once i asked once again to the receptionist finally the housekeepers came with 2 other rolls. Unfortunately the bathroom has a lot of humidity and no air its coming in. The bunkbeds are a bit uncomfortable since the design is not ideal.

Mould around the shower and tiles. Being woken at 5am by loud music and shouting. Rooms need a method to contact reception for these incidents. Price expensive for a hostel but not for Dublin

I loved the bar and how easy it was to get to.

Being there with my family.

They nickel and dime you for everything. The drunk and homeless people hanging around inside and out. My car was broken into, and my sons bag was taken within 20 minutes of arrival. I know that is not the fault of the hotel, but people feel comfortable enough to do that in that area. Try Temple Bar area. Much better. We did get his bag back... thank you Dublin Police.
