Ok budget stay. Location, easy to walk anywhere in town.

Too loud music...

For the price I paid, it was pretty decent. It’s easy to check and check out. There’s a nearby Dublin Express station which makes it convenient. Plus, it’s just behind Jameson Distillery!

Rooms can get warm even at night. Additional ventilation would be great to have. The doors also slam quite loud. If you try to close it softly, it won’t close.

Having our own room with a bathroom/shower was nice. Can’t complain about having a bed and a roof over our heads.

The no food/drink rules were wacky since the food offered was rediculously expensive. Would have made more sense to just offer a shared kitchen or a cheap breakfast.

Very strategic position in the city, quiet at night and with many food options in the area. Super comfy beds and good storage space in the rooms.

The karaoke was too loud, it was fun for a bit but then some guests started leaving the common area for the noise. Also the usb chargers in the rooms didn't work forcing you to buy an adaptor at the reception.

Would I go again? Well, no.

Rooms were a tad dark could do with more lighting, also the heat in the room was uncomfortable but it was also a heatwave outside so probably not an issue usually.

I would have likes to have towels included... and not to be paid on top. It was maybe explained but... feel surprising anyway.

Excellent location, just far enough out of the city but not too far to walk into. The surrounding area has a nice vibe and good shops and eating places. The facilities of the venue were excellent

Every time a door closed in the corridor it caused our door to rattle within the lock which disturbed our sleep.

It was very hot in the bedroom and hard to cool down, so the night was not that comfy. Some ppl are loud during the night.

Location was perfect. Instructions and communication with staff before and while stay was clear, understandable and fully informative. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms and toilets were clean at all time. (Even late at night, middle of the day, early in the morning) Soap and toilet paper were never missing.

The biggest downside was the size of window. We had room with just one small window so heat was present in our room almost at all time. We had room for 8 people with 80x80 window. Even thought we had a fan. We had to keep doors open at all time. Also the rooms had some stains here and there but nothing that would ruin the experience.

Renting a room with 6 people was ideal.

We really disliked the bar. The service was slow, both pints and coffee. The karaoke in the middle of the bar was unbearable, both in volume and quality. The bar already tries to close at 11.30, asking you to leave for upstair and no longer giving drinks. This is in our opinion too early

Most things require additional charges, e.g with no towels (not even a hand towel), luggage storage etc.

It was hot in the room as compared to the outside temperature and the opening of the window could not be properly adjusted. The bathrooms and toilets were practical enough but quite far from the dormitories.

Vibe in the bar area is quite cool. Beds are ok and linen clean.

Ventilator in the bath was broken and therefore mould on the ceiling. Wasn’t fixed eventhough we told receptionists several time. The whole place downstairs (bar, toilets, eating area,…) needs a thorough in depth cleaning – all a bit filthy.

A bit grubby, one light bulb not working, Some of the charger sockets not working either. Found a used condom wrapper under the bed!

Communal areas and facilities were good alongside the size of the dorms. The staff were also friendly/helpful.

Bathrooms could use some care - nothing dirty however faulty handles on showers and broken soap dispensers. The rooms (and main body of the hostel) were also incredibly warm.

This hostel obviously caters to a younger crowd, with a bar area and lots of fun activities. I was a bit worried that I would hear the nightime noise, but was pleasantly surprised at how well sound proofed it was. I went to bed early as I was tired from a day of travelling and heard absolutely none of the noise from the bar or lobby area. The area is fine, close to a Dublin Express bus drop off point which was a big plus. I stayed in a female only dorm, and the other people staying were also quiet and respectful of the others in the room. There are a few dining areas right across the way. Staff were friendly and helpful

Like many hostels in Ireland and Europe, the rooms get quite hot and stuffy and night in the summer. They did provide a room fan, which really helped. It isn't quite as central as some of the other locations but just a short 10-15 minute walk into the action.

We had a private room, it was spacious and quiet, bunk beds were comfortable, but not really long enough for tall people. Room had many windows with light blocking curtains which was nice to have.

Private bathroom could have been cleaner, it was ok for a one night stay. Luckily we didn't need all beds in our room, one was very close to the door and next to the bathroom, it would have been loud from the corridor and a bit smelly from the bathroom.

Very crowded. Bunks stacked three high. Small storage lockers, back pack hardly fit.

Staff were excellent. Helping us when we were stranded without our bags from the airline. Mattresses were comfortable and bedding was clean. Surprisingly quiet by midnight considering it’s a party hostel. The bathrooms and showers were clean Centrally located.

Room was incredibly small and VERY hot (despite a good sized fan). Avoid the rooms looking over the courtyard for this reason. For the cost of four bunks with shared washroom facilities, the value for money is poor compared to many other places we’ve stayed in Europe. In fairness, this could be an issue with Dublin in general. There were a number of drug addicted people in the area, we were approached and didn’t go out at night.

Big hostel in a nice location. Has a bar, many games available (to pay). We had a 4 bed private room. It was pretty nice, even had a balcony.

The shower design is a bit bad, there is no close place to hang your towel, no carpet and once you open the door, the whole floor is wet.

It has a great vibe and atmosphere. Lots of options for staying as well. Close to local transit as well. Fans in the rooms were a nice touch with it being humid from rain it helped keep some airflow.

Not sure if it’s normal or from use, but pillows are flat as pancakes. Made it a little uncomfortable for sleeping.

Handy location, good value. We were a party of 5 and had a private dorm with three bunk beds.

The room was very stuffy and hot, but with the windows open (and even when closed), it was quite noisy outside until the early hours of the morning.
