The Conrad Hotel, Dublin

Great location just off St Stephen's Green.

All great. A little bit on the expensive side but so is everywhere in Dublin.

Breakfast was delicious.

There was construction taking place outside our room which made it difficult to nap.

Stylish, clean and welcoming hotel.

Excellent in all ways. Perfect staff and service. Every amenity that you could expect except cast TV.

Cast TV was not available. A little more food and beer selection would have been nice. More coffee capsules too.

Loved the room and staff. Breakfast was not up to standards. Hot food was cold, selection was limited, eggs made to order were an upcharge and service was minimal.

Breakfast was very good, great choice available and pastries were particularly nice and staff were very attentive and friendly

Overall very pleasant, breakfast room was a little crowded and tight but staff were so attentive and food was really good.

Access to the city and general public transit is excellent. It's directly opposite the national concert hall which always has something on.

Given what we didn't like, we explained to the supervisor on duty that we were paying for a 5 star hotel and getting 3 star amenities and service. Things you do not expect at a Conrad. On the way back, we were surprised with an upgrade and provided a credit. The customer service is top-notch at this location. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this location twice during our trip. When we arrived in the city and then when we ended our trip and came back to the city. The first time, we had a room that had very poor shower drainage and was creating a bathtub. The shower ceiling was peeling, one elevator was working, and when we tried to call for room service, it kept going to voicemail, and we were told they were closed, when in fact they were still open.

The decor and furnishings. Staff very pleasant. Excellent location. Food was delicious. Fantastic cocktails at the bar. Lovely Christmas atmosphere too.

The breakfast was good

The hotel is very nice but is lacking a bit of soul. It seems more a business hotel than a leisure hotel. When you go into the hotel it lacks the heart and vibrancy of other 5 star hotels like the Shelbourne and the Westbury. There is no buzz about the place. A bit clinical.

Location and space within hotel excellent.

Service in bar very slow. We were in a junior suite which was beautiful but did not seem to be very well thought out eg - the main wardrobe was quite a distance from the bedroom and the hairdryer was not in the bathroom. Car parking spaces quite small for the size of modern cars - consider remarking it.

All staff so friendly and pleasant

The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The bathroom had a large tub to soak in and I took advantage of it for sure! The staff were very friendly and professional.

The food was not good. There were no healthy options and finding something allergen friendly (gluten and dairy) was a struggle. The kitchen did accomodate, but instead of being able to just choose something, I had to ask for modifications. Also, it didn't taste good. We only ate at their Terrace Restaurant and the cost, taste, and options made us not want to eat there a third time.

The waitress in the bar was not very attentive to our table and she got the bill wrong.

We ate in the restaurant and 3 of us had omelettes that we thought were delicious.

Something like toast or a muffin could have been served with it. Or fruit or something.

The breakfast staff were very attentive. Really eager to please. Rosemary was particularly lovely. Also the choice of a la carte breakfast was great. The option for drinks was also fantastic at breakfast. Bloody marys etc.

On arriving at reception the staff could have been more friendly, we had to ask to many questions. Seemed inc convenient we were there. Also the mini bar items seemed expensive when we had paid over a £1000 for 3 nights.

I liked everything, we stayed there before, but it must have been around locked down as alot was Closed like bar ect, i felt it had a lovely air about it this time.

Just thought it was v.expensive to stay, but goid value at the hotel, our price didnt include breakfast and for what we paid i really feel it should have.

They arranged an early morning taxi ride for us to the airport and provided a boxed breakfast that was waiting for us at our departure at 4am. Nice touch!

Everything! The room was better than advertised. The staff, all of them, could not have been more helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful meal in the restaurant after a very long day trip to Northern Ireland. Better than any other Hilton Hotel I ever stayed at!

The location of the Conrad Hotel Dublin is excellent and makes it a very attractive choice. The standard re /comfort, warmth and cleanliness of the rooms is exemplary The courtesy of the Staff in the main, remains excellent and attentive and the quality and quantity of the delicious breakfasts is noteworthy. The internal Coburg restaurant is available at other times throughout the day and evening. (I missed the memorable outstanding evening menu of the previous pop-up Anna Haugh restaurant in the Conrad Hotel building!)

-- Since I had no need of a passport /and had no driving licence on my person I found it slightly disconcerting to be held to account to provide immediate "photographic ID" in the first breadth on arrival! I don't remember this happening last visit. gg jl --I would definitely have preferred strong quality local tea bags with the tea making facilities (rather than the very weak or unusual ones provided) Luckily I came prepared! Though there is a proper coffee-making machine in the room I would quite like some instant sachets for quick access. - - In an effort to provide a subdued calm lighting effect in the bedroom there is now overkill and actually no way to obtain good lighting when it's needed(except in the bathroom where it was excellent)As a result the room verged on gloomy if the television was switched off.. Having said that the room felt luxurious and comfortable but this section is on negative perceptions!

Really liked this hotel. Staff were all very welcoming & helpful. We had a great stay here. The Butlers chocolates were a nice touch.

Top.class hotel, true to its 5 star rating in every way. Excellent facilities, beautiful decor, and service were excellent throughout. Tomás, the restaurant manager, was so lovely, both professional and charming, a real asset to the hotel. Our room was upgraded as it was my husbands 60th. A beautiful chocolate presentation brought to our room after arrival and a further 'Happy 60th' birthday sweet presented after our dinner. I can not thank the staff enough for making our stay so special. This hotel delivers in every way. We will be back! X

Some drilling work started about 9:30am, I was awake and up, so it didn't disturb me, but I was on a call and it made it difficult to concentrate. I cant imagine this is normal for the hotel, other than that, stay was great.

The location of the property was excellent within walking distance to the centre of the city . The staff were helpful and accommodating . Facilities within the hotel were very good , and the room inviting quiet, clean and very comfortable . We brought our dog and had no problems . Very nice hotel.
