I stayed at Rove Downtown for 7 nights, and I feel it’s only fair to share my experience after seeing that it’s listed as a three star hotel. Honestly, I kept asking myself why. The location is excellent. Walking distance to Dubai Mall, easy to get around, and just very well placed overall. The hotel itself is a great space. Bright, modern, and genuinely pleasant to be in. The rooms have proper windows, which already puts it above many places, and everything felt clean and fresh. No old smells, no overpowering perfumes, no heavy chemical or aerosol scents. Just a really comfortable environment. The lobby is lovely and works perfectly if you need to get some work done. You can also work from the pool area, which is a big plus. The hotel is not very tall, so you never end up waiting forever for elevators, which makes daily movement much smoother. I only had breakfast there, but it was decent and enjoyable. The restaurant has a massive screen showing football and other sports, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. It felt social without being noisy or chaotic. Another big plus is the checkout time. Checkout is at 2pm, which is amazing and makes such a difference, especially if you have a late flight. On top of that, they have lockers downstairs for luggage, so even if you need to leave the room earlier or spend more time out before heading to the airport, you can safely lock your suitcase and enjoy the rest of your day without stress. What really stood out, though, were the people. The staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank you to Ramadan & Mohammad at Rove Downtown, who was incredibly helpful and made the experience even better. I also want to mention the chef who kindly prepared a special salad for me without vinegar this morning. That level of care really matters and does not go unnoticed. I don't think there was anything, but the gym was too small, and some of the equipment I couldn't even use (leg extension) due to being unable to adjust the seat, as it was one size for all. Wifi could be better in my room, but it was working :)

We had a fantastic stay at Rove Downtown Dubai. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, especially Kamila, who was wonderful. We arrived very early after an overnight flight and the team went above and beyond to get us a room as soon as possible. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, we slept well every night. Our room faced the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall and the view was magnificent day and night, I would really recommend requesting this side. Great facilities too, including the gym and swimming pool, and the lobby has a unique, welcoming feel. The location is excellent for exploring Dubai, with easy access to the station.

We loved the hotel overall. Location, cleanliness, staff, facilities, everything was perfect. It is located downtown and about a 10 minute walk to Dubai Mall. We were upgraded to a room with a Burj view, which was amazing. Staff was helpful and always accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Can't say we didn't like something.

We chose this Rove Hotel because of its location. We live close to the beach, so we were not interested in staying near one. The location is absolutely perfect — only a 7-minute walk to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. We went there every evening to have dinner and watch the fountain shows. The hotel is very clean, and the bed is comfortable, which is always very important for me. The room had a nice view, and every day they provided coffee, water, and tea. There is also a swimming pool (we didn’t use it, but it’s there), conference rooms, and cute cabins where you can have Zoom calls or important online meetings. Another big plus is the lockers where you can leave your luggage after check-out, as well as luggage scales so you can weigh your bags. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel prepared an amazing surprise for him in the room — a very sweet gesture with some treats. We loved this place and highly recommend it!

Rove Downtown was the perfect hotel for us, when we tried to look for a place that ticked a lot of boxes. First, just stepping out the back door, you already get a really good view of the Burj Khalifa, which was our plan. We wanted to watch the Burj Khalifa fireworks without having to join the crowd that has to line up and sit in their spot for hours. It’s not a direct front view and you don’t get to see the fountain show, but with 3 kids with us, saving a spot in the crowd would’ve been a difficult situation. Second, this was a short walk away from Dubai Mall. You step out the back door, walk a 100 meters, enter the side entrance, and you end up at Zabeel, which is part of Dubai Mall, connects to the main mall by a crosswalk over the highway. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, always smiling and willing to help in any way. I think that’s one of the big plusses of this hotel, great service and you will feel at home. Dubai Mall of course has a lot of options for shopping and dining, pretty much all you will need will be there. The Zabeel part has Lulu grocery where you can buy all the supplies that you need. There is also section in the grocery where you can buy really inexpensive hot meals from different countries such as the Philippines, Thai, Korean, Chinese as well as the usual meals you will find in the UAE. Dining options at Rove Downtown, you have Friday’s at the ground floor, which also has a buffet breakfast in the morning which has a lot of options. We ate there twice during our 8 night stay. We chose not to have breakfast included because there were days we had to leave really early and the buffet option wasn’t a sound idea. Good thing that there is also a 24-hour convenience store which has a lof of breakfast options as well as lunch and dinner sandwiches and all the snacks, fruits, and drinks that you need. You can eat them at the lobby or bring them up to your room. Our room was spacious, had a lot storage, and had a good view outside.

Price was expensive, but I’m assuming it was because we stayed during the New Year’s eve peak time.

The bad was very, very comfortable. I slept very well. The view to the Burj was great. The shuttle bus is very handy. Helo from the staff is quick and kind.

The room was small and not much shelves to place the clothes.

This hotel advertises as a 3 star and totally overdelivers on this promise. 10 min walk to Dubai Mall, you can even take a shortcut without motorways crossings (much quicker than what navigator offers). Walk through Fridays to outdoors -> turn left on the Parking lot -> use a side door to exit the hotel land -> head to the Downtown Views I skyscraper -> then there is a footpath overground to the Dubai Mall. Thank me later

If you put a "DND" tag on your door for 3 consecutive days they start calling you and leaving letters saying that they need to check up on me, as if I'm hiding a body

It’s the second time we stay at this hotel, the staff were really helpful. Pooja at the front desk was really great. The staff were super helpful. For food and drinks, there is a TGIF on the premises and a Costa cafe, as well as a supermarket.

Everything was excellent, room,staff,location, service,very easy getting taxi.it was my birthday when we stayed,when we got back to are room,there was a card and chocolates, a board saying happy birthday kim,also written on the mirror, such a nice thing to do.thank you your great.

We spent four wonderful days at this hotel celebrating our son’s birthday, and from the moment we made the reservation until the very end of our stay, the entire team made our experience truly magical. The hotel went above and beyond to make our child feel special. He was absolutely delighted by the birthday gift waiting for him in the room, the breathtaking view of the Burj Khalifa, and the warm congratulations he received from the staff throughout the entire day. Every interaction made his birthday even more memorable. The staff deserve special praise for their genuine kindness and attentiveness. They were always happy to help us navigate the city and gave excellent recommendations on where to go and the best time to visit different places. Their care and personal approach made us feel truly welcome. We left the hotel completely impressed and full of positive emotions. Without a doubt, we will return and choose this hotel again. Thank you for creating such unforgettable memories for our family!

We had an amazing time at Rove Downtown. Our room waw very spacious and had a gorgeous view over the city. The location is great right by Dubai Mall. But most of all we were impressed by the amazing customer service and how lovely and accommodating all staff were.
