Amazing hotel. Great food. Amazing staff.

The reason we chose this Hotel is because of the Lounge. I have Bipolar so it would have been a great help. 1 lift was broken for a few days and it was bedlam.

The hotel was perfectly persitioned, near all transport, we didn't use uber once. Would recommend getting a silver Noll card. It cost 25 Dirham to buy, then you can top up. You tap on and off. Hotel was perfect, no faults at all and the staff were amazing and bent over backwards to help. The hotel has 5 restaurants and we used them all. The food is brilliant and always a good choice. The reception and doormen went above and beyond their jobs and always polite. The bar staff were fantastic, especially mikee at the pool bar and sweet at JBs. They all work extremely hard. The pool area was clean and if you couldn't find a bed, the pool attendants went out their way to find one for you. We chose to upgrade our room slightly, for a full sea view, definitely worth it! But wasn't pressured into it. Regarding the rooms, they are so well equipped, loved the speaker in the bathroom, was awesome!! and the the cleaners came in every day, even if not requested, and were always pleasant to talk to. Will definitely return, one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

It’s more a question of what didn’t I like and the answer would be nothing. The staff are absolutely amazing especially Moh Moh in the Rossi restaurant and the waiter by the pool Maoe. The food was fantastic everywhere. 10/10

The property is outstanding with several reasonable priced restaurants that are absolutely lovely. The staff literally cannot do enough for you. The rooms are a delight to stay in. I don’t normally return to the same hotel, but will definitely return to this particular hotel.

From the friendly reception with an upgrade on the room, everything just got better. Arrived at 9pm, and after seeing the bags in I went for food. That did not disappoint. There may not be rows and rows of food. But there is something for everyone. Same for breakfast too. I ate at the Italian and the gastropub, no complaints there. The staff at the beach bar were lovely, The room was a double, ample space and great views. Never a run for sunbeds, more than enough. My only problem was …. There were a few that came down, threw towels onto beds and went to the beach. One family took 6 beds, for 3 of them as they wanted shade and sunshine… didn’t we all but I only took 1 bed…. That didn’t spoil my stay. Would I stay here again…. Of course I would.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, which has a very good and convenient location in the JBR/Marina area. At first, we were assigned room 1102, which had a connecting door to room 1103. Everything was fine on the first day, but on the second day, loud and rude people with children moved into room 1103, and they constantly (day and night) yelled, ran around, and made noise. We complained at the reception and asked for a normal room without connecting doors. The next day, we moved to room 1101, where everything was quiet. Despite it being off-season (August 2025) and hot outside, the hotel was almost completely full. Breakfast was very crowded, noisy, and loud. Dinner was better. I would like to mention and praise the waiter Hasan—a very pleasant, always smiling, and very energetic young man. This is a case where I want to say that I wish there were more people like him! I also want to praise Moustafa - an incredibly pleasant employee, always friendly, smiling, concerned and asking if everything was okay with us, if we needed anything. At the entrance to the Horizon restaurant, I also want to mention Sabrina - friendly and polite. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed, and bed linen was changed on request. Water was constantly replenished. You can always call room service and order water (in such heat, we had to drink a lot).

Compared to my stay in December 2023, now (August 2025) the Dining Around package no longer includes the option to order beer (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) with dinner. Only water and one soft drink are available: Pepsi, Mirinda, 7up. This is a shame, as I personally don't like sweet fizzy drinks. I would prefer beer, non-alcoholic or alcoholic.

Nice modern look and feel, very clean and great location. The staff were great and very attentive, especially Mr Moe.

Stayed here before and all is still excellent.

Mohammed housekeeping was so kind and respectful and if we needed anything extra he would always do his best for us. Always delivered and room was so clean on our return in the evenings

Loved the location, the beautiful décor, and the spacious room

While the staff were unfailingly polite and friendly, the service was unfortunately very slow. I requested a room cleaning once, but no one came the entire day until I happened to see a staff member on my floor. Even then, the cleaning was below expectations ! the bed was made and the trash bin emptied, but the towels were neither replaced nor washed, and some trash was left in the room. As for the dining experience, my stay included half board (two meals per day). Although the hotel offers a variety of restaurants, the food quality unfortunately did not meet the high standards typically associated with Dubai.

3 lifts for the whole of the hotel guests. However that have plans to introduce more lifts at some point in the near future following previous reviews. So can fault the hotel as they are responding to their customers feedback.

The location, the cleaning level. The staff were all amazing, very kind and helpful. Dilshan the lifeguard at the pool, was one of the most caring i have ever met, attentive and super cautious, we witnessed him saving a small child before our eyes . We were there on all inclusive basis, the food was very delicious. The pool, public areas all beautiful.

The main restaurant was closed for rennovation so our all inclusive meals were either the japanese or the italian restaurant. Even tho delicious but was too much of the same food for 8 days.

Excellent hotel in terms of price and quality. Very kind and caring attitude, this is not our first time here and our return visit left the best impressions! In the room we were greeted by a basket of fruit and a large plate of treats! Everywhere is clean, the floor is shining, there is a variety of food in the dining room! The location is very good, it is convenient to visit many places on foot, the beach is right outside the windows and there is a wonderful view from the room! This hotel is a symbol of Dubai: the highest service, availability and cleanliness! Thank you very much!

It is a little confusing to wait for the elevator during peak periods for breakfast and dinner, but we got used to it and it did not greatly affect our vacation.

This is my fourth time staying at Amwaj Rotana jbr& I absolutely love it ! Great location bonus is it’s attached to beach . All of the stuff are absolutely great. Top service from everyone. Mustafa, sameer for catering and amazing house keeping services by the babul the all staff was very helpful during my stay and great services and communication Thank you again for such an amazing stay ! Will definitely be back again Also Mr Ahmed attraction booking desk was amazing person he’s booked my mostly attraction with unbelievable amazing price ever I would to suggest definitely to book with him Thank you guys

The hotel had a nice location and a beautiful view. The staff were kind and generally helpful.

A few small things in the room were missing at first, like slippers and a child’s bedding set, but they were eventually taken care of.

The dinner options were quite limited, and the overall taste was disappointing. The shawarma sandwich, in particular, didn’t resemble shawarma at all — it was missing both the flavor and the authenticity. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience. The reception staff were quite unfriendly. When I went to pay for my booking, they gave me a different (higher) rate than what I had received through the booking platform. One staff member even started raising his voice when I insisted on paying only the original price. Eventually, after making several calls, they matched the rate I had booked. On top of that, my rooms were not ready upon arrival, and I had to wait before I could check in. Overall, it was a disappointing and stressful check-in experience.

Excellent location with unbelievable view at Blue waters island. Near many elegant bars and restaurants, right in front of the JBR beach.

The apartment we rented was canceled at last moment and we stayed at the Rotana. Excellent location at the beginning of JBR (avoids traffic). Room nice and staff friendly

The room was great, but humidity was high, we had a room and upgrade in which we had a view on Ain Dubai, the front desk has waiting time while others are waiting to check in.

The entrance to the hotel is located close to an intersection that is always jammed with traffic. I had to leave one day earlier than what is expected and hoped that the hotel they would offer a day to replace it in the future, but they have not responded to me

Our room view was breathtaking and the space was big. We enjoyed a room bump up and the kindness of the staff. The kids enjoyed the pool.

The rooms were not very clean, the pillows were very flat.

The location,close to the jumaira beach and 24 hour shop and farmacy, also the parking area and valet service is good
