Hotel Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach, Dubai

Everything was perfect. I loved my room, the staff were so polite, professional and presentable. The cleaner Mohammed was fantastic, faisal, basit ,and nabeel at reception were absolutely amazing. A credit to Amwaj. The staff made the experience, I had no issues and they helped me with everything. The pool facilities were very clean. The hotel is in walking distance to so many restaurants and shopping areas.

I can't complain. Everything was spot on.

Perfect location

Our stay at this hotel in Dubai was truly wonderful. The location is perfect — peaceful and close to everything, with easy access to a clean, beautiful sea and a lovely area for walks. The food was fresh, tasty, and different every day — we looked forward to every meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely caring, always making sure we were happy. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Wiem at the reception. She was absolutely fantastic — extremely informative, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. Her tips and advice made a huge difference and added so much to our trip. Honestly, our stay wouldn’t have been the same without her — she is a real asset to the hotel and made us feel truly welcome, not just as guests but as valued individuals. My family and I are incredibly grateful to her. The room was spacious and clean, with a great shower, a balcony with a beautiful view, and TV channels in multiple languages — a nice touch. The hotel smelled amazing and felt calm and welcoming throughout. The door staff were also super helpful with taxis and anything we needed. All in all, a fantastic experience — we felt so well cared for. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Only a tiny minus — there are just three lifts, so if you’re staying on a high floor, you might wait a bit during busy times.

The location suited our needs as it was central to JBR and in easy access to the tram and metro. the area had numerous places to eat and there were a number of locations where you could enjoy a drink if wanted. The hotel was close to the beach and also in walking distance of places like Blue waters island. We were let down by the hire car company but the reception service helped in getting us a car organised through one of their contacts.

The only thing I would say became annoying is the number of high powered cars that run in-front of the hotel revving their engines at all times of the day and night, because there is a tunnel over the road where the Rotana Pool is they rev their engines in the tunnel which is annoying.

Room at higher floors with panoramic view over JBR beach. Half-Board with access to 3 restaurants with fine dinning. Kids facilities such kid's club and kid's pool. Staff was kindley and offered a better room at higher floors; we got also free access at the rooftop lounge for breakfast. Location is very great, beachfront and at walking distance from Marina Dubai.

Rooms with sea view are too noisy (there is noise coming from the cars and loud music from the near by pubs can be heard even at higher floors)

The location was fantastic.

No proper showers, extractor fan in bathrooms were very poor, the bathroom steamed up so badly. There should a washing line for the balcony instead of in the bathrooms.

Very confortable hotel close to the beach. 4 restaurant with fine cousine. Rooms big and good beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Very raccomanded for your stay in dubai

Despite landing in Dubai in the early hours after a long flight, the hotel staff welcomed us warmly and allowed us to check in early—a gesture we deeply appreciated, especially with our young son needing rest. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is simply beautiful—luxurious yet family-friendly. We booked the half-board option, and to our delight, drinks were included (a refreshing change from many other hotels where even water comes at a premium!). The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our son loved the shaded kids’ pool, which made playtime enjoyable even during the warmer hours. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the people. The staff went above and beyond at every opportunity, with genuine warmth and attentiveness that made us feel completely at home. ( The pool staff and the restaurant Staff thank you for being incredlble humans) A special thank you to the incredible food director, Julie—her warm, generous spirit made our experience even more memorable. She helped us celebrate my husband’s birthday in the most thoughtful way. Even the hotel director Hossam personally came by to wish him a happy birthday, which was such a kind and unexpected gesture. We truly fell in love with this place and everyone who works there. This hotel is a hidden gem for anyone looking to enjoy the true essence of Dubai, combining luxury, prime location, and great value for money. We cannot recommend it highly enough—we’ll definitely be back!

In addition to the strategic location, the hotel rooms are large, clean with outstanding views. The hotel contains excellent restaurants with so delicious food. And the most important element that would make you love to stay at Amwaj Rotana is the staff. So friendly and welcoming and they make you feel home and special.

In some rush hours, the access to JBR becomes so crowded but not all the time.

Location was great. Staff so friendly and helpful. Loved Mohammed and Mike by the pool. Choice at breakfast was amazing. Always being refilled.

Lifts were a bit of a pain sometimes had to wait a while especially at breakfast time.

Location is perfect! Right on JBR everything you want on your doorstep. For the all inclusive there is a lot included the cocktails are really good and quite strong! You get included the al cart restaurants too. My room was huge with the most perfect view.

The pool area was quite small ( but then it’s so close to JBR which is probably why. My room was perfect BUT was directly opposite bla bla so it sounded like i was sleeping in a club haha. I’m a solo young girl they probably put me there assuming I’d be out, I was only staying 1 night so I didn’t bother to move but bla bla is a open air bar beach club / night club so if they have events it’s super super loud. The pool was full of kids ( for me this was a negative ) but it’s kids holidays so I understand and would be great for other family’s.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms with nice sea view. Amazing pool.

Elevators are too small and slow for such a hotel. Sometimes the waiting time exceed 10 minutes. Especially around busy times of the day.

Outstanding staff, amazing location and facilities. Special thanks to Mr. Jerome who has provided me with full support. Amwaj Rotana did not even miss details and celebrated my birthday. I am very grateful for everyone there.

Location is the best in the area The view of the beach was so beautiful Cleanliness and the atmosphere is peaceful Balcony and Room service was awesome Very fast and smooth check in Honestly I didn’t like the slow elevators , it made me hesitate to check the facilities of the hotel The sink of the bathroom was blocked and the water toilet didn’t flush for the 1st time , you have to press twice 😂 The breakfast of the hotel was terrible, sorry I have to be honest ( no taste neither the varieties) To sum up I will stay again in this hotel when I visit Dubai regardless of the disappointment

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were an absolute delight felt like a king and queen and the manager Julia was fabulous the people in the bar the restaurants the managers in the bar and restaurant the staff every person the concierge the door people the people on reception the cleaners the Bar staff were fabulous. Give the whole experience a 10 out of 10.

The location of the property was perfect - so close to the beach and lots of restaurants/shops. The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and friendly especially with our 5 month old baby. Moh Moh and Stephanie in Rosso’s were exceptional every evening and Hassan at the pool bar was brill at sorting us out for drinks & lunch!

The lifts were slow/full but the management would help by using the service lift during busy times so not waiting long. Our bathroom needed some t&c - the shower would leak over the floor when used.

The sundeck pool team was awesome; Mohi,soji, muly,Hassan,joyal and tin made every day smooth and easy and made sure we had enough to drink and eat all times.

The bed was a little hard Booking restaurants; we were not told to book them on our first day so we ended up missing one restaurant completely

The location of the hotel was perfect. Breakfast had good variety. The staff was courteous

The room service was very slow. They have 3 lifts and it takes a lot of time to get an empty lift.

Great location! Very modern and nice amenities Wiem at the front desk moved us to a different room which suited our family better, her service was lovely Great attention to detail from the housekeeping attendant We really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, staff were brilliant couldn’t really fault anything with the Hotel.

Stayed for 7 nights, just a disappointing that one day they closed the pool, outside eating and drinking area at 5pm without any warning for a private function. My 7 year old son did not take this very well, we had planned to stay in the pool area until 8pm that evening.

Lovely clean room, housekeeping staff were lovely very helpful and courteous. Comfortable beds and great view.

Everything was great from the time I arrived at the hotel my check in wasn’t till 14:00 but they managed to get me a room before 12pm clock which was amazing and I was very thankful. all the staff were great from room cleaners to valet drivers and and especially reception staff. Free complementary fruit as it was my wife’s first time in Dubai was a fantastic gesture by the hotel.

Pool area could do with an upgrade

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Onsite tour booking was a big help to better plan our daily activities. The location`s great with good verity of shopping and dining options onsite and nearby.

Great location, nice and clean room, very nice view, very nice people. Good value for the lounge access, where we could have breakfast, drinks and snacks. Nice heated pool.

Elevators are strange, they stop at each level, or take you up, although you want to go down, so be prepared to spend some time there! Be careful with the pub restaurant downstairs: One night at midnight we got a call from them, claiming we have not paid our drinks (9 beers!!), which we did not have. After explaining what we had for dinner and that we have the evidence that we paid entirely our check, they apologized, but still it was disturbing. One other night we paid after dinner and they said they made a mistake and cashed more money that what they should have, and mentioned they have to cancel my initial payment and cash again the correct amount, promising that first payment will be reimbursed. They have never done this, so I paid more than twice for that dinner. Apart from that, the hotel is good, I hope it was just my bad luck.
