Great hotel in a super location, we’ve stayed there a few times

The situation with the hotel lifts is awful, we had to get rescued by a member of staff after waiting over 20 minutes on our landing trying to depart and get to the airport on time, at peak times it’s impossible to get on a lift.

The staff was so friendly and professional. They were very helpful.

We had to wait for a long time to get our room ready. However, they gave us a temporary room until ours is ready which was something really nice to do

The Pool bcz mix with kids lot of noise,not feeling relax they don't have privet beach, I should pay extera for beach sunbed outside of hotel 🤷🏻‍♀️ The shower was bad to change from shower to bathtub so hard to move,

Great location in Dubai Marina, very close to the beach, stores, restaurants and attractions. Very nice staff; they even helped me organizing a small cake & candle for my wife's birthday! Very nice pool, great choice of restaurants. Very clean and neat.

Everything was perfect. If I may give a suggestion, there is need for faster elevators: the time to wait before being able to get one and arrive to the desired floor was usually a little annoying.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the beach and close to amenities. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The only disappointment for us was the mattress on our bed was too hard, that made it uncomfortable for us.

Excellent view from Sea facing room. Room service very good. Good shower pressure and controllable heat. Location perfect but a little noisy with the beach club opposite. Next to JBs which is a good 'hang-out'.

A bit of noise - loud music from the beach club. Not enough elevators with high occupancy. Meal time foot traffic causes delays at elevators. Cannot think of anything else to complain about you'll be glad to hear

How it is and how hospitable the staff was

From the staff to the location. , everything was amazing. We had breakfast which was very well organised and equipped. We hired a car and the stag would park it and bring it to us when required - exceptional will definitely stay here again

Amazing stay at Amwaj Hotel. Great central location on JBR beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice and big room with balcony and perfect view at the beach and the palm and Ferris Wheel. Wonderful!! Nice and friendly stuff! We had All Inclusive, the lunch was great with seafood and live cooking. Dinner you can have in many restaurants, japanese, Italian, buffet , at pub .. we arrived at 8 am and already got our room. Very nice pool area and Pool bar with easy exit to the beach. Its just 2 minutes walk to the beach. I also dont understand why the people are complaining about the Situation with the elevator. We never wait for elevator. The Location is also nice. Next to Marina Walk amd the Metro isnt far also.

Everything was perfect, staff were exceptional, Eve on guest relations was amazing. Anitah, Hasan in the Horizon restaurant were exceptionally kind and did everything they could to help us.

sometimes could get a little noisy at night in the area, for me wasnt a problem, but travelled with elderly parents who found it a little disturbing. Also one night the next room had a party going on from 11pm I informed reception and they dealt with it right away, staff were so helpful and very kind. especially George who did everything in his power to help and make our stay comfortable.

The location, cleanliness and the staff. I especially want to say thank you to Win from house keeping, he kept our rooms clean regardless how late it became.

The lifts....they took forever to come. I had to use the stairs which was not a good idea as I have bad knees.

Staff were exceptional - everyone was so nice and welcoming. View from the room was breathtaking and the room had all you would need! Perfect location and close to stop for hop on hop off buses. Great choice of restaurants for half board and very reasonable. Would definitely be back in a heartbeat!

As a family we made reservations for 2 rooms. We have 2 kids ages are 10 and 13. Mr. Bassel, the reception staff said that if you want to rooms should be at the same floor you have to pay exstra money:(

Second time at this hotel and very happy with my choice. Location is perfect, have done some renovations. Breakfast is amazing with a lot of choices and a stand for free range eggs made at the moment for you. Access to the beach and a good pool.

The shower needs some work , it gets all wet.

The reason we chose this Hotel is because of the Lounge. I have Bipolar so it would have been a great help. 1 lift was broken for a few days and it was bedlam.

The hotel was perfectly persitioned, near all transport, we didn't use uber once. Would recommend getting a silver Noll card. It cost 25 Dirham to buy, then you can top up. You tap on and off. Hotel was perfect, no faults at all and the staff were amazing and bent over backwards to help. The hotel has 5 restaurants and we used them all. The food is brilliant and always a good choice. The reception and doormen went above and beyond their jobs and always polite. The bar staff were fantastic, especially mikee at the pool bar and sweet at JBs. They all work extremely hard. The pool area was clean and if you couldn't find a bed, the pool attendants went out their way to find one for you. We chose to upgrade our room slightly, for a full sea view, definitely worth it! But wasn't pressured into it. Regarding the rooms, they are so well equipped, loved the speaker in the bathroom, was awesome!! and the the cleaners came in every day, even if not requested, and were always pleasant to talk to. Will definitely return, one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

It’s more a question of what didn’t I like and the answer would be nothing. The staff are absolutely amazing especially Moh Moh in the Rossi restaurant and the waiter by the pool Maoe. The food was fantastic everywhere. 10/10

The property is outstanding with several reasonable priced restaurants that are absolutely lovely. The staff literally cannot do enough for you. The rooms are a delight to stay in. I don’t normally return to the same hotel, but will definitely return to this particular hotel.

From the friendly reception with an upgrade on the room, everything just got better. Arrived at 9pm, and after seeing the bags in I went for food. That did not disappoint. There may not be rows and rows of food. But there is something for everyone. Same for breakfast too. I ate at the Italian and the gastropub, no complaints there. The staff at the beach bar were lovely, The room was a double, ample space and great views. Never a run for sunbeds, more than enough. My only problem was …. There were a few that came down, threw towels onto beds and went to the beach. One family took 6 beds, for 3 of them as they wanted shade and sunshine… didn’t we all but I only took 1 bed…. That didn’t spoil my stay. Would I stay here again…. Of course I would.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, which has a very good and convenient location in the JBR/Marina area. At first, we were assigned room 1102, which had a connecting door to room 1103. Everything was fine on the first day, but on the second day, loud and rude people with children moved into room 1103, and they constantly (day and night) yelled, ran around, and made noise. We complained at the reception and asked for a normal room without connecting doors. The next day, we moved to room 1101, where everything was quiet. Despite it being off-season (August 2025) and hot outside, the hotel was almost completely full. Breakfast was very crowded, noisy, and loud. Dinner was better. I would like to mention and praise the waiter Hasan—a very pleasant, always smiling, and very energetic young man. This is a case where I want to say that I wish there were more people like him! I also want to praise Moustafa - an incredibly pleasant employee, always friendly, smiling, concerned and asking if everything was okay with us, if we needed anything. At the entrance to the Horizon restaurant, I also want to mention Sabrina - friendly and polite. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed, and bed linen was changed on request. Water was constantly replenished. You can always call room service and order water (in such heat, we had to drink a lot).

Compared to my stay in December 2023, now (August 2025) the Dining Around package no longer includes the option to order beer (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) with dinner. Only water and one soft drink are available: Pepsi, Mirinda, 7up. This is a shame, as I personally don't like sweet fizzy drinks. I would prefer beer, non-alcoholic or alcoholic.

Nice modern look and feel, very clean and great location. The staff were great and very attentive, especially Mr Moe.

Stayed here before and all is still excellent.
