there are many things you need to mantion before beeing client of this hotel! 1. no heating 2. Breakfast not included 3. Not enough towels 4.Electrical appliencies are absolutely terrible. Everytime you go in bathroom lights come up 5. light and curtains control is not logical at all 6. No portable shower. It was mounted but not availible. 7. Floor is very sleepy 8. Most stupid thing nobody mentioned during booking is they take ensurance deposit. For what?????

there is no iron or coffee machine in the room (this would increase the standard)

Everything about this place was perfect! The lovely staff, each and every one of them offered great service and help, the breakfast, the rooftop pool, the rooms were so clean and fresh smell of the sheets and towels! The location was great as well, close to the centre and shops.

It was very well located in the old town and we could walk to key sites. It was good to have outdoor space and the public areas were well designed and furnished. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We originally reserved a room in the old building at the front but there was lots of street noise with no double glazing, and a hard bed so we asked to be moved. The main thing with both rooms we used was the design - in particular the use of glass for the bathrooms, but also in other features - like the poor coffee machines which looked cool but didn’t work, the dim lighting, the extremely hard beds (which we really struggled with) and the poor air conditioning. Some people will love the stark design, but we found it rather sterile and would prioritise privacy when using the toilet or shower, a decent nights sleep and would expect better equipment than we got.

Good places near to beach , Clean rooms, the staff facilities and advised as about the programming and which kind of transport batter for as, you feel comfortable when you stay there is Eman and Mohammad they were very great and I hope to them great future

Seriously a gorgeous design boutique hotel in the city center like no other. Modern, clean and comfortable room, with access to a tranquil setting of a garden. The staff were exceptional. The breakfast options, even if we did not choose it in our initial booking was simply delicious. We had the amazing rooftop pool available just for us to relax. We will definitely return to this stylish boutique hotel!!!

Amazing breakfast, great location - very close to the sea and St Lazarus Church, Larnaca's most important historical monument. Beatufully restored building with modern annexe where the bedrooms are. Really friendly staff

There's a lovely rooftop pool. The pool surroundings could be made more comfortable and hospitable but we were there in winter so maybe they do more to make that space accommodating in the Summer. A hotel bar or in-room mini bar would have added a little to our experience. But these are minor issues

Fantastic stay! We visited Lokàl Boutique Hotel for just a day, and we wish we could stay for the entire week, since we were pleasantly surprised in so many ways! Our room was of a great size, with modern amenities, hot water throughout the day and very clean. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to support us with our requests. The design of these two buildings is just great - it’s an amazing project preserving the old next to the new - very rare found in Cyprus and such an architectural gem for Larnaca. We would recommend this place for couples & friends. We will definitely be back.

The friendly staff, the comfortable room and excellent location. Located in a walking distance from main attractions. Decorated lobby and rooms. Exit to a wonderful garden with nice table and seats. High quality service and bath products. We haven't had the chance to use the swimming pool.

We can not think of things we didn't like...

Old fashioned hotel, tiny pool which was not heated and unusable and more importantly, the air conditioning did not work. I could not stay in the room, which had floor to ceiling windows on two sides, wall on the other two. To get any privacy from the neighbouring buildings about 10 feet away, the heavy drapes had to stay closed. The ac did not work in the room! We had to check out after one day and were charged the full fee.

No air conditioning, no privacy from floor to ceiling windows. This is a 2 star hotel.

The breakfast was a delight. Every morning they has prepared something new and tasty. The hotel was perfectly located in the old town, just down the street off the most touristy places to gather.

The bathroom is not what I was expecting , no tiles felt like paint wall only , we showered and all the water came out of the shower, you could see how is getting torn by it but it was clean . The ventilation was working non stop. No enough light in the room and we were not able to open the curtains as we were allocated it in the ground floor ,the room was overlooking an area close to reception and tables outside making us not able to open the door or the curtains because we didn’t have any privacy , in their defense I didn’t ask to change room or mention it as we stayed only one night .

The location is great! Near to the beach, bars and restaurants. Iman, George and Emad were so helpful and went out of their way to assist! The roof top pool area is super lovely! Iman, what a chef, she couldn't help me enough with my wants and needs for breakfast!

The internet, during my stay, was not working, which was disappointing. The safety deposit boxes are not attached to a wall, so be aware of this, they can be carried, just to note the hotel is monitored 24 hours, so it is safe but its just good to know. There is a super limited alcohol selection in the hotel, but you are close to lots of bars.

No fridge, sheets and bedding in general were not ironed, swimming pool not heated, poor views at other falling apart buildings .

The infinity pool and patio on the roof were very nice and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable, and good quality showers. Staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything they can to help you enjoy your stay.

The breakfast was not to my personal taste, but others seemed fine with it. The type of food and variety were a bit simple and more reflective of a complimentary breakfast. Not worth the 12 euro per person. This is my only negative feedback. The rest of the hotel was excellent, and the staff were great!

Excellent staff, very helpful, especially the young girl - she helped to find a motorbike to rent and to book transport tickets, finding the most convenient and best options. Delicious breakfast. Location also very good, 5 min on foot to the sea and the centre

Photo's are very well taken to make the room look bigger. "Patio" in description sort of suggested the room had a private balcony/ patio which it didn't but the pool area made up for this. The rule they try to impose that you cannot bring in any of your own food or drink

Some things in the room needed fixing

Nice and cozy hotel located very close to the centre but yet very quiet. The room was very clean and spacious (got the disabled room)

The breakfast. Was not buffet style so you have no choice. I did like the selection though but would prefer to have more choices.

I liked everything, the only thing that should be fix is the water in the shower, that runs out from the shower.

I picked the hotel because of Adults only. I was alone and wanted a calm experience in the public areas. The room was stylish and minimalistic. Very cool with the free standing bath tub in the corner. The roof top pool was a big plus, always nice to chill down after walking around in the heat. The breakfast was exquisite and enough.

The team at the hotel was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I had requested a room with access to balcony at the time of booking but when I found the room itself to be very small and crammed, they were very quick to move me to a more spacious room on the ground floor in the newly built part. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the AC worked well. Breakfast was not huge with lots of options but very well thought through and nicely presented and tasty. Although the hotel doesn't serve food outside breakfast, you can order delivery and drinks can be ordered from the reception. Overall, the hotel is nice and cozy.

The electronic system of controlling lights and curtains doesn't really work that well and becomes more of a hassle than convenience. The pool area is not so well maintained.

The privacy and location was excelent- Pretty much in the heart of Cyprus which allow us to rent a car and travel all beautifull places this island can offer. Only very few rooms in this small and cozy hotel gave us beautifull privacy which felt like we had all hotel for our own. pool area was always available and we never needed to sahare the area even for morning / evening swims. + Staff always very nice and helpfull.

I wouldnt say we did not like it but only minus was bathroom. Basically with open-spaced shower, water was running everywhere. luckly - great cleaning stuff saved us every morning :)

Location was really good, property and rooms are nice. Some of hotel staff was really helpful and friendly.

The pool was so cold and dirty (full of birds poop). We couldn’t use it. Breakfast was really basic, you can’t choose the dishes which are every day the same without fruits and other basic stuff, better skip it.

The use of a tablet for the lighting, curtains and safe deposit bows was totally unnecessary and most often annoying. At 2AM, I woke up my girlfriend while trying to walk quietly to the bathroom and passing a sensor which turned on lights in the room. Too much automation!

Charming small hotel in the old city, just a few blocks from the seafront, on a very quiet street. Personnel were all very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast each morning. The room, while comfortable, is basic and would benefit from the addition of few extra touches. A small bar fridge for water, power points beside the bed and mirror, and coffee and tea making facilities would make all the difference. Like most establishments in Greece, the shower was prone to flooding! If only the fall on the shower floor went in the right direction….. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would certainly return if the additions I suggested were made.

We did not like the breakfast which was very limited. Other boutique balloons we were given a menu from which we could choose. We were very lacking in vegetables and cheeses.

Lovely small characterful hotel well located in the old town of Larnaca. Good walking distance. Modern design, well finished with good facilities. Super helpful and courteous staff.

The hotel is well-decorated, and the room was spacious and comfy. The staff was very nice and helpful. They helped us understand our parking options and booked us a table in local restaurants even before our arrival. Breakfast was delicious. The location is on a charming and quiet street in the heart of the old city. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay again on our next visit to Larnaca.

The only reason for not giving our stay a full 10 is the lukewarm water in the shower. I like a hot shower and I can take a shower in lukewarm water, but it's not a shower I can fully enjoy. I'm writing it in the hope it will come to the Hotel attention so it will be better when we come to stay again in the future.
