It’s a bit far from the main city (Paphos).

The hotel is beautiful; gorgeous view, wonderful staff, relaxed, welcoming and hospitable. Fabulous water sports team and exceptional spa.

All the meals were amazing, super fresh and crisp salads. Tons of choice. Attentive staff and super friendly.

The only thing that could have made it a 10+ experience would have been a sandy beach. But that totally didn't take away from the marvelous holiday. The Cyprus May flies were buzzing about. Apparently, they only show up for a couple of weeks in May.

This really did feel like 5-star facilities and service....
Breakfast was sensational, so much to choose from, and willing staff in constant attendance.
The outside spaces were great too, easy entrance pools, plenty of loungers, the sea and beach very close.
The location itself is very beautiful, especially the upper terrace where we had drinks and a couple of meals.
Staff were always friendly, polite and super-attentive to our needs.
Our suite with private pool, nice temperature, was very comfortable.
The spa is a magnificent space, so a great destination for bad weather days.

We were disappointed that our outside space, including our private pool, was overlooked by many guests. Even putting a higher wall between each of the pool-suites would have aided privacy.
The Spa treatment prices were off-putting.
Also, restaurant and drink prices were often gulp-making and made us hesitate about eating more meals in-house.

Hotel does not have proper covered parking spaces and cars are parked in the open or a car port that is designed to protect against sunlight onlyb rather than rain

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality from the staff, who went out of their way to ensure every part of our stay was perfect. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated, with stunning views and all the comforts one could need.

One of the standout features was the exceptional dining experience. We have visited Basilico restaurant and every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients, creative presentations, and flavors that left us craving more. I also can't help but note the amazing variety of healthy and tasty dishes for breakfast.

The attention to detail throughout the hotel, combined with the dedicated and friendly team, truly made our short stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and a remarkable culinary experience. I look forward to returning!

The location was lovely with access to a private beach

There are very few sun beds around the main pool that get the sun all day (most are in the shade for half the day). We ended up on the grass by the pool but it was not as nice as being by the pool.

The setting in the bay is beautiful , the hotel design and amvbience is great and the staff are fantastic , very well trained and so happy to help .

Incredibly clean, really lovely staff, good food, very friendly guests, really well maintained, great spa, beautiful views of the sea, lovely Acqua di Parma toiletries, good TV channels, I loved my room!

-As there were a lot of kids, they should have an outdoor adults only pool. They have 3 outdoor pools so could easily have 1 adults only as not everyone wants to hear kids the whole time.
-I thought that the food and drinks were a bit on the expensive side as you can’t walk to any local restaurants from there.
-Would be better to offer only non-motorised water sports. You could smell the petrol from the speedboats on the beach.

The hotel is truly the best in Cyprus. It has a breathtaking view (from the bar patio), it is super clean, beautifully decorated,. The food was delicious especially the mushroom risotto at Helios, whiskey sour at Harmony Bar was top class, The staff were patient and polite and always happy to assist.
The pianist at dinner at Helios was outstanding.
My room was beautiful. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries was superb.
The bed was super comfortable.
I will be visiting again :)

"The devil is in the details". - To my surprise I could hear the staff gossip and complain there was not much to do and yet they managed to forget to bring my drink. Housekeeping came at odd hours while I was in the room and did not come when specifically asked (please make up my room). The first thing I was asked upon arrival was to prepay for my stay, the whole amount PLUS 250 extra pee day (for meals and drinks which I MIGHT have, I found it strange as usually I pay for those at check-out...) My room was lovely, but I asked for and paid for a sea view and my view was very obstructed with trees and buildings. iThe room had very little sunlight.. I emailed the hotel beforehand asking for a clear sea view as since the hotel wasn't full , I could have been upgraded.

Only one minor quibble. The questionnaire presented with every drink and dinner bill becomes tiresome.

Anassa is the best hotel in Cyprus. The location is perfect, you cannot find a better spot in Cyprus. The staff is very friendly, the service is excellent, the food is great, especially the breakfast. The hotel offers you relaxation and comfort. I will definitely go back!

The location, the luxury it offered, the food (especially the breakfast), the chapel, the spa, and the beach is so beautiful, great service and attention by all the staff.

The constant sound of crickets that’s quite annoying. I’ve never heard anything this loud and annoying.

Amazing location. Fabulous staff so friendly and helpful they really were well trained to do their jobs and across every part of the hotel impressive. Special shout out to Alia the waitress serving us most days who was a real star.

If I could change one thing would be how half board is managed. Breakfast is included no matter what you have. Dinner rather than have a list with deletions items for surcharges (no issue with this ) you get a menu with everything priced differently and an allowance of 75€. It’s virtually impossible to meet this so you end up either going over (and paying more) or staying under because you feel you’ve already paid (but you get no credit). For us it caused confusion and we didn’t want to be adding up. Unfortunately you ended up seeing many things you’d love as extra course but most likely you would pay. The proving seemed to be done in a way where many starters and mains meant you would certainly go over 75€. To be fair the menus are probably available online so you can check and many people won’t be bothered. I just didn’t like working out at the start of every meal how to not add 100 euros or whatever to our bill because we wanted more than one course or a main that was 64 and starter, for example, 28. They let you add the total as a group and we only found this out day 3. So we had 5 people. My daughter didn’t really use her allowance but the group could. They would say 5 * 75 as total discount. Also some restaurants there is a chef special where if you have the 3 courses chef chooses it’s included even if listed, for example, at 90€. It’s not a show stopper, but I don’t like working out prices for dinner on half board. Most nights we paid more and we rarely had 3 courses.

blackout curtains should come as standard. we were asked lots of questions about our preferences during checkin, which was great. but blackouts were not covered, so we were woken up very early on our first morning.

bit of a fuss over us requesting to watch football somewhere, other than our room, as it was a late game and some of us wanted to go to sleep. in the end a very helpful barman put in on for my husbhand in an empty bar/lounge - so it was ok, but there was stress over it not being possible days leading up to the game, which was a shame.

After a few days was a bit bored by the two restaurants for dinner. Also hotel is - in Cyprus style - a little bit too big and a bit bland. Gym was not bad but ought to be bigger, with more varied kit and better AC.

This was our first stay at the Anassa and first visit to Cyprus. During our stay we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Beyond the superb facilities and location of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff made our stay very memorable. I have been fortunate to stay in many fine hotels and can honestly say that Anassa is one of the best.

We stayed at Anassa half board for six nights. What a wonderful vacation! The place is gorgeous, the service is attentive but low key and natural, and the team are friendly and gracious. There are a number of restaurants, food was wonderful in all of them, with some great dishes and lots of choice. The facilities are fantastic and the hotel design is simple and beautiful. There’s a lovely mix of formal and informal that doesn’t quite come across in some of the formal hotel photos. It’s elegant yet laid back which is a great combination

Small and easily fixed - The TVs aren’t big enough in proportion to the room and it’s hard work to watch a move comfortably. Also be aware that part of the hotels charm is that it’s slightly isolated. The hotel has everything you could possibly need but if you do want to sightsee or eat out a car is helpful
