Casa Delfino, Crete

Great staff and excellent location! The room was clean, and the spa was really good.

The breakfast wasn't the classic type, but it had some nice pies. Unfortunately, they were served cold, and there were no salads available. Overall, I think the hotel is too expensive for what it offers — not great value for money.

Everything. Best hotel in Crete. Location is perfect. The hotel cannot be more beautiful. More beautiful than most places in the city itself, it is a little paradise. One of the best hotel breakfasts that we ever had, and we travel often. Perfect mix of healthy options for me and sweet and local for my boyfriend. Also lots of gluten free and lactose free options. We had the spa& massage package for couples. Perfect. We go to spas often and the massage was to the level of top Europe spas. The staff has perfect English and are most polite and diligent, the dont forget you and the minimal details, like what you liked for breakfast the day prior. Most happy to help you out with anything. Recommend it 100%. We travel often and I don't always leave reviews but Casa Delfino was perfect.

The food selection

Breakfast was fantastic, especially the fresh orange juice. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

We had asked for twin beds, but didn’t get them. It was ok. The bathtub drain overflowed. There should have been a sign to drain it slowly. We couldn’t adjust the air conditioning when it was too hot at night.

Beyond impressed by how beautiful and amazing this hotel is. The food was insanely good every morning and the staff went above and beyond without even needing to ask. We will absolutely be coming back here asap

As a solo traveler, one of the best things that can happen at a hotel is that you’re made to feel comfortable and cared for. This hotel is absolutely top-notch. It’s run so well it’s so efficient and everyone literally everyone was kind and helpful. The recommendations for dinner we’re fantastic. I wish I would’ve gotten everybody’s names to put them down, but Maria was one person who was helpful. The hotel was beautiful, wonderful beds, beautiful sheets, and towels everything spic and span, I could not have asked for more. Great location, they really know what they were doing.

Breakfast was awesome with a good selection. Location was old town, and close to the water. We got upgraded to a suite so was super big. Chrissy was a superb lady, spent lot of time explaining the area, organized a rental car, suggested places to visit etc. Velisarios picked up our luggage from the old town area and carried to the hotel, was very pleasant, watch him as an upcoming soccer player. Kitchen staff was very helpful and pleasant.

This is a beautiful, family owned property in the heart of Chania, walking distance to the major sites, including the Venetian Harbor. The owners and staff are so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay in Chania. They even helped us with reservations for our New Years Eve dinner. Make sure to get a facial and/or massage from the spa, which is so relaxing. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and nicely designed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Exceptional service and staff that makes our stay special. Crete was the last stop for our Greece vacation and our 2 night stay at Casa Delfino was memorable and very comfortable. It was located at the old town and within walking distance from the harbour and scenic terrace views. Every requests we made was promptly look into and staff are attentive.

The bath and shower were excellent, the bed was really comfortable and the staff helpful in every way. The location was perfect and the Spa was outstanding - the young staff were superb.

The roof top bar needs to be better set up, the waiter having to go up and down the lift for supplies is quite ridiculous.

Charm and style on steroids! Everything about this property is first class. I feel fortunate to have found Casa Delfino as it made our stay in Chania very special.

Our stay was fantastic, from the staffs level of service prior to our stay and during. From local insider tips on restaurants, to arranging car hire to advice on day trips. The hotel and spa was exceptional, meeting and exceeding our expectations. Highly recommended and we will be returning!

The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. Also, the breakfast served on the lovely courtyard was so fresh with a wonderful variety. We were treated like royalty!

The hotel rooms, staff, location and breakfast were stellar! It is one of the best hotels that we have stayed on vacation. The chef is to complimented for the beautiful and delicious breakfast.

Very helpful staff, fantastic courtyard for the self service breakfast. Not a huge range of options for breakfast as no provision for cooked meal - scrambled eggs in a heated dish only. However, the quiet peaceful and tranquil location, just 50 yards from the busy harbour was a great way to start the day. The rooftop bar was also fantastic - great way to spend the late afternoon with superb views over city and harbour

We got a small room! We were there for 5 days - most people only seemed to spend one or two, so we thought we might have had something a bit more spacious. Only just about enough room for our cases to fit! That said - it was quiet and the bed comfortable. Lots of different rooms - some were large, some had balconies and some with terraces so if you are choosy then I suggest you contact hotel in advance to see what you are getting!

The staff were amazing….from check in to check out! The owner even assisted us with arranging a private driver to Elafonisi beach and lunch and dinner reservations.

There are a lot of stairs, even inside the rooms... but that's because the building is historic and old, actually a UNESCO conservation building. But it's so special so we forgave 😉
