Convenient location. Nice hotel lots of facilities. Comfy bed.

The rooms could have been cleaner. Floors a bit dirty.

Very cheap, near the center, a bunch of facilities and entertaining amenities are offered for free. The staff are very supportive. There are almost young people living here so the vibe is quiet energetic.

Property charges extra for practically every amenity. I came only an hour early an asked to check in and still had to pay for bag storage..when I asked if I had to pay the response was a bit rude.

the hostel's common areas, kitchen facilities, location, check-in and check-out policy, The staff was extremely kind and helpful, the spaces were neat and well-maintained, and the smell of cleanliness prevailed. Even in winter, the temperature inside was warm, it wasn't cold to sleep.

The sliding glass door in the bathroom didn't close completely, which was uncomfortable at times.

Sleeping area could be isolated from the bathroom like in capsule hotels, it’s not nice to hear the sounds and smells right next to your bed :D Use earplugs and sleeping mask to avoid waking up during the night.

This is probably the coolest place I have stayed at while on vacation, it was very cold when we went but the hostel had so much to do and everyone was so nice. A train station was very close by which was nice.

The shower and sink drained very slow, and the mattress topper kept sliding off.

The staff is super helpful and welcoming. They have helped me a lot with anything and were there at any time. The location is great and main area is super big and comfortable to have chat with people, play games and chill. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathroom is pretty spacious.

I had an issue with the room that it was really cold, but this was also solved, so that was not a huge deal.

I love the property. Clean comfortable, near the station . Everything about the place is great . Really friendly helpful staff.

The location, cleanliness

The rooms are small, no privacy curtains, bathroom door you can see through. The light when on hits the areas of the beds. Charging for everything; storage, use of kitchen.

Room was small, but comfortable. The sliding bathroom door doesn`t give much privacy - just be aware. Great location to go walk in the old town, main train station near by, so easy access to airport.

The facilities considering it’s a hostel were amazing!!! Now i havent stayed in many hostels before but this one was by far the best

I liked being able to use the pool whenever, early morning or late at night. The central location is fantastic to visit the city. The reception and bar area are always lively and the kitchen is functional and modern.

The only remark I could have is that the placement of the bunk beds in my room made it difficult to store my luggage nearby. The lockers are big but unfortunately not big enough for my backpack and so I had to tuck it wherever there was space, often getting in the way of other people.

The hotel itself really up to the expectations and have a really nice and clean room despite its more like a backpacker hotel

I was staying at the share rooms for women only, I got the upstairs bed which was personally quite scary for me with a petite body size to climb up the bunk bed and needs to be up quite early to catch my morning train with a very limited access to room light (maybe Steel house will install some kind of night light on the upper bed the one that can be dim and adjust? 🙂 for the safety reason and so someone will not bother the other guests while they’re sleeping 🙂)

The range of facilities offered in this property was nice, though I never used the kitchen and gym during my stay. The location was okay, it was a short walk to all the popular tourist attractions that I went to.

The wifi was terrible. It takes a long time for everything to load unless you sit around the common area at the ground floor. I also wish there were privacy curtains for each bed.

Good location. A large hostel, tiny spaces in the dormitories, but functioning. Pleasant beds.

The toilet-shower room inside the dormitory has glass door - dimmed but still transparent to light -, so it can be disturbing especially at night. The beds don't chave curtains. And you have to pay for the using of the kitchen, but the price isn't very high. I guess the breakfast packeges they offer at the bar are not worth the money (for more than maybe once if you want to have something fast).

Perfect location, nice facilities and friendly staff.

I had a 10-hour stopover in Copenhagen and wanted to stay the night in the city, not at the airport. The hotel's perfect location, near the downtown train station, made it easy and quick to commute from the airport to the city. The hotel facilities are good.

The location very nice, very clean and well organized. They even have a parking in a garage with a cheaper price than the one outside.

The rooms are small, there is no room for shoes or coats in the entrance, other than that everything was great

Brilliant location close to Vesterport Station and Central Station. Very quiet considering it is a hostel....very little sound could be heard from the room. The atmosphere downstairs was lovely with a real mixture of ages ....I had no problem feeling comfortable as a 70 year old woman travelling alone. The luggage storage in the basement was great and reasonable for the facility. It is good value considering the location.

The room was extremely small, I had expected that but nowhere to hang anything or even put anything apart from the window sill. The bed was built between 2 walls so difficult to manoeuvre if slightly unfit or elderly!

Kitchen to be paid, with a lot of improvement to do in terms of cleanness, organisation, arrangements and utensils.

Bedrooms were well designed and there was a variety of extra experiences.

Mattress was saggy. Would have been nice to have some privacy curtains and more usb plugs. The leather pouch seemed worn. pool was basic, small and cold and you had to pay extra for an additional Towel. Tv room remote was broken and couldn’t connect. Couldn’t access the kitchen without paying, so no chance to borrow a fork or spoon.

No space either side of the bed (literally a wall right up against both sides), not an issue if mobile but climbing across a double bed to get to the light switch is a pain

Staff was really nice and the position is convenient

You have to close an eye on A LOT. Toilet and shower are separate and doors are not soundproof, like at all, there's a gap between it and the wall of course. If people are walking in front of it, it feels like they're in the room with you. Every comfort has been stripped from the price paid so to be sold to you for a second time. You have to bring your own lock for the lockers in the room and a normal gym/baggage lock will be useless.

Very good price for location! We were 4 people and booked a 4 bed dorm for one night. It’s very small but it’s fine for one night. We loved the lobby area where we can seat, eat, drink, play Yatzee..

You have to pay to use the kitchen, you have to pay to use the swimming pool, you have to pay to use the gym.. those details were not announced clearly prior to booking.

Pool water was too cold, they only make beds after 4 days in bunk beds room and also you have to use same towel for 4 days otherwise u have to pay. There were no curtains on bed so bit issue with privacy in mix dorm

Very good value for money, facilities are great for families, as well as all generations. Location was perfect for touring Copenhagen on our 4 day visit. Staff very friendly and overall setting has a great feeling to it.

Could do with a couple of shelves on walls in 4 bed dorm room.

Conveniently located near Copenhagen Central Railway Station & Tivoli Gardens, Steel House is a great base for travellers. A great vibe in the communal area(s) & staff were great throughout our stay. Our shower was super hot & powerful too - really beneficial after the -9 temperatures we experienced in December in Copenhagen!

We knew our “private room” would be compact when we booked the room - but we didn’t realise how compact!! The room was very small, with zero space/allocation to hang clothing. As we were only there for 3-nights, we managed living out of our suitcases. House-keeping only clean the rooms every fourth night too so, again, cleanliness could have been better. Ultimately, you get what you pay for & Steel House is, certainly, a “no frills” affair.

Location is very nice. same size bed for one-sixth of the rate - 20 EUR. I stayed in an Imperial hotel owned by the same group one night before, charging 120 EUR per night, where I had the same size bed.

Staff can be more friendly.

The location, the bar, facilities were very good. Live music on our final night was a real treat.

You had to pay to use all the facilities such as the gym, kitchen, pool. I would have thought this would be included in the price. I appreciate they all need maintenance etc
