Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Location is perfect in terms of distance from central train station and city attractions, particularly for a family with young children. We didn't know whether a hostel would be suitable with the kids but they loved it.

Rooms were very clean. Staff in the reception very kind. There is light and sockets on each bed and the bathroom was clean too, with towels and gel included in the dorm. Don't forget to bring a padlock for your locker

The room is too small. If you opened your luggage then chances are high you will block the way between bunk beds.

The location is very convenient. My stay was short but there are many services which is good. Nice to see families also staying there.

Most staff were great except for an unfriendly Italian staff which wasn't helpful. Sometimes there little kind things that can be done to be helpful. I think working with people these things need to be done. I think location should reinforce room rules. To girls were eating after midnight in the room and whispering which woke me up. I understand it's a shared room but the food smell was very annoying which made their constant whispering intolerable. There's no gluten free option at the bar for breakfast.

Excellent location. Near the main transport line in Denmark, and close to Vesterbro a gorgeous neighbourhood. Property was clean, full of life with great staff.

The room is definitely not indicated for families, is so tiny and stretched, is only cool for backpackers, not for family vacationing.

The location was close to the train station, but other places were a 15-20 minute walk away. The rooms were very small. However, the cleanliness and service were very good.

This was already my second stay in Steel Hostel. I appreciate decent rooms with good beds. Also the pool and the public spaces offer nice way of spending time which is really nice. Also easy to get to know new people there. The location is really convenient and the lake next to hostel offers nice morning walks.

There are some things that could be better with only little improvement. Please look at the attachment of the racks for hanging clothes; they are barely staying on the walls in many places like at the pool and at the rooms. I think this would be an easy fix. Also the music at the public space is just too loud. It makes it difficult to have a conversation. I think it is relatively too expensive to use the luggage space with your pricing. Also, please check your coffee machines! I paid 40dkk for the coffee which then tasted like hot water. I went to ask a cup from another machine and it wasn't any better. Please don't sell the coffee if there is something wrong with the machines, thanks!

Good value, central location

It feels like a glorified hostel, has that hostel vibe (can be good or bad). Rooms are very small.

The facilities and amenities are excellent, offering everything you might need, including lockers, secure locks, a bar, pool, gym, games, and a projector screening football matches. There are also spacious tables with power outlets, making it convenient to work on a laptop. The location is also very good—I was able to reach all major city attractions on foot within approximately 1.5 hours, even with breaks and time spent exploring.

The shared room could benefit from improved privacy. Adding bed curtains would enhance the overall experience by giving guests a sense of personal space and minimizing disturbances from others who go to bed at different times. The frequent switching of lights makes it difficult to sleep comfortably.

You have all the facilities needed and easily accessible, kitchen, gym, bar, pool pluss more.

Loved the cinema area and being able to be able to do my washing on site.

Light sensors in Toilet and shower room. My bed was right by them so it was easy to set them off.

No curtain for the bunk beds. Cleaning in every four days is too long for shared places. Paying extra for kitchen and luggage storage is interesting.

Privacy curtains on the dorm bunks would be nice. And get rid of the motion-sensor lights in the dorm rooms!

Good locations, very clean. Even with early or late flights you have lots of space to lounge.

Luggage storage could be a bit expensive but for Copenhagen it seems to be the norm.

Shared spaces were clean and organised

Myself an a friend stayed in a private double room. It was pretty small but we knew that booking the space. Everything was clean and the facilities were great! Great vibe from the hostel in general with lots of activities to get involved in if you want to (I don’t but saw lots of stuff going on). Location, cleanliness and value for money were all fantastic, especially considering general accommodation prices in Copenhagen. Would definitely stay here again a recommend to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

The location is perfect, super close for the main train station and the city centre. The atmosphere of the common space is very nice. The room is no big but efficient. It is confortable and silent.

The room is a bit small. It is fine for 2days but it requires a bit of efficiency to fit two people with two luggages.

You have to be aware that you have to have the online key ready before you enter the elevator, otherwise it will not work. Many we saw had issues with this.

Online check-in and check-out were smooth, many services and activities, good location.

They probably didn't clean the room during my 6-day stay, which became progressively dirtier as more guests came in.

Everything was great, I loved the position and the pool! Also the staff was great, especially the Danish guy on the afternoon shift who liked my glasses 🤓

It located well. All the things were clean. The staffs were friendly.

You must pay for lockers to drop off my luggage before check-in. You also have to pay for using kitchen. Except for that, everything was nice.

The air conditioner was only up to 23 degrees, and the room was cold when we first entered. Since the AC was working in low degrees, we had hard times to get warm.

Relaxing areas have a lot of space, well equipped kitchen and optimal position next to train and subway stations

You have to pay for many amenities: the pool, the kitchen, the storage room for luggages, etc. I was in a 4 people dormitory, and the in-room bathroom implies a lot of noise with people using it at night or early in the morning. I would definitely add a shelf above the bed to place books, clothes, beauty case, etc, because the alternative is to use the (noisy) box every time, or the floor. I would also add a curtain because the privacy in very poor and you end up being awaken every time someone uses the light

Just perfect! The common areas are spacious, clean, and well-equipped – with games, a pool, gym, bar, weekly activities, a lounge area, and convenient lockers. 4-bed room was clean and organised, and the bathroom was spotless. Everything is very well managed. Within walking distance of the central area and close to public transport, and only about 25 minutes from the airport. Highly recommend!

Check in process is quite complicated, have to use the app to unlock elevator and room. Sometimes the app didnt work but luckily there was always someone at the reception desk to help

We liked that we had the whole room for ourselves, even though it was just 2 beds. The location was very nice and close to everything, especially the metro station. We liked that they had varieties for breakfast and there was a space designated for making your own meal.

we stayed for 5 nights and they didn't clean our room or change or towels/sheets even though based on their policies they have to do it every 4th day. This was very disappointed and unacceptable. Other than that everything was quite ok.

We were staying two people.in mixed doorm. Loved that bathroom is in the room. Clean beds, new covers. Very kind and nice staff and tasty breakfast.

I should have thought of other people not being polite. There was a guy in our mixed doorm that would listen loudly to some music/videos (while showering so you cant ask them to stop) in the middle of the night while others was sleeping.

Good location, nice rooms and great activities. Movieroom was great to relax with Kids. Overall a good hostel, keeping In mind for the next trip.

We stayed for five nights, from saturday To thursday. There was a sign In the room which stated that they chance linens, towels and clean the room on the 4th Day. They didn't. There was no hand towels, no cups for brushing teeth and nothing to wipe the floors. Recommend on bringing your own mugs and handtowels to eaze things.
