Comfortable, clean, perfect location, multiple area inside hotel that you can use before and after check-in &check-out. Free wifi

Lockers could be free. Breakfast could be open buffet. There could be showers in reestrooms

The location is great, well connected to the airport and also to the city centre. We didn't use the public transport (just to go to the airport) so it's easy to walk all around. The room was clean and confortable for 2nights that we stayed there.

Paying extra for many services. Music was very dominant on the ground floor. Pity.

The first floor lounge was excellent place to chill

I got confused after booking and paying in what room I had. I booked a room for two and in my check in mail came the information that I will be staying in a six bed room. It made it confusing, yet the staff in the hostel has made everything clear and at the end of the day we had 6 bed room, but there was only 2 of us.

The rooms were quite and fairly clean.

Wifi is very poor.

There was many different facilities available, most at an extra cost wich was convenient because that way you only had to pay for the amenities you actually sully used. And the extra cost was usually 25 DKK which ist about 3,30€.

When booking it wasn’t clear that amenities like kitchen and pool were and an extra cost. Even tho the cost wasn’t that high.

The Steel House was same as on the pictures, modern, good location, fast wifi. Clean.

The bed was not comfortable (and like 70 -80 cm wide), especially the mattress, it was hard to sleep as was not firm. Also the rooms are really really small, I am short small person but was small, as well the bathroom. Super tiny. No place for luggages in the room. Also the luggage lockers are charged in hour and size basis. This was the first place in the world where I have seen this. Also the kitchen was for charge.

Self check in

Someone entered the room while we were sleeping, two-three hours before checkout time (we had already specified our checkout time). The room wasn't the cleanest. Staff uninterested in helping, lack of any surfaces where to temporary put down our stuff.

The bed was super comfortable!

The room for 2 people is reaaaally small. U wont fit w 2 suitcases and you have to pay for lockers which are not cheap.

The reception area was so nice and warm which was good coming in from the cold. They had plenty of places to sit and relax like couches and tables which were very comfortable. The locker area to store your bags was super easy to follow and made life a lot easier when arriving early and leaving late. The room was comfortable and so were the beds.

Only things were the shower was slightly dirty along the bottom corner so might just need a bit of a scrub. The toilet seat wasn't secured properly and the wifi didn't reach all the way to the end of my room so if I wasn't in the right spot on my bed the wifi would drop out which at times was frustrating

Large kitchen. Many places to sit and relax. Good shower. Beds are made, no need to put on the sheets yourself. Helpful staff. Close to facilities and walking distance from the city centre.

Top bed is a bit high, always inconvenient to get in and out. Using the kitchen is at extra cost.

It’s a very fancy hostel which includes many facilities here. The room is clean and the toilets and bathrooms are separated.

The space is pretty small for 6 people. And the bathroom is easily go clogged up.

The cleaning should be better. There was hair and dust everywhere on the bed frame and in the bathroom (especially the shower). The floor was a little dirty and hair and dust were piled up in the coners. Lots of hair and dust on the bedding too. They should provide a towel to use for the floor so you're not flooding the floor when you get out of the shower.

Small room

Our room was clean and was just what we needed for our short city break. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was very straight forward and efficient. The facilities available at the hostel were excellent and having the choice of breakfast was helpful. The location of this accommodation was superb for being able to explore everything that the city of Copenhagen has to offer. I will be recommending Steel House to family members and friends.

It would have been helpful to have a kettle to use either in the accommodation or on the floor that we were on. It was rather inconvenient to have to keep going to the ground floor to boil the kettle for dehydrated meals and hot drinks.

Very good location, open to the public during the day so you can expect to see people of all ages having a good time and a laugh. Good selection of games, chill spaces and quiet areas and it even has a small swimming pool for a very minimal fee. One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in with a very calm, positive, warm and safe vibe. Staff are very helpful if you need to ask them anything, check-in/out very simple and secure. A hassle free experience and great for a short stay for a few days if you’re just popping into Copenhagen.

Syeel house is always a good option for a short stay. There are so many things to do and to be entertained.

Some of the roommates are really noisy but that is not steel house responsibility

That you had to pay extra for the use of the kitchen, swimming pool, gym. The rooms at tiny when you have a full room all with large suitcases there isn’t a lot of room to move around yes there are small cupboards to put small things. But that doesn’t help for big suitcases. The bunks don’t have any croutons

Rooms are too small, shower is also very small and gets flooded. The automatic lights are a nightmare.

Excellent place for example to visit the city with family with teen agers. Rooms are in fact spacious with more storage space than your normal hotel room. Games, bar, kitchen. And relaxed atmosphere with very friendly staff!!

This is the 4th time we've stayed here, traveling from/to USA from CPH. The location is great, close to the main train station and city center, everything you want to see. The staff is very friendly, in general a very happy vibe, international travelers of all ages and genders and constellations getting together. Spacious kitchen and cooking oportunities with a lot of fridge storage space. The beds are a dream! Very comfortable. It depends on what you want. If you do not mind sharing a room and bathroom with other travelers, it is totally fine to book a shared bunkbed situation, but you can also book privat rooms, with bunk beds for only your group. Breakfast and good coffee for purchase. Evening bar with TV and games etc. 24-7 Lockers. A gym and city tours, rental bikes, movie nights and activities. All in all, a great place, and we've returned 4 times so far!

Only thing we noticed throughout the years that nothing at all really has changed, meaning updated. We would recommend some renewals, rennovation, fixes of several areas, esp. the kitchen.

Very spacious seating and tables on the ground level. We appreciated the on-site cafe, and the luggage storage in the basement. Checking in and out was also streamlined and very efficient. The rooms were small, but they didn’t feel that way. We loved how cosy each bed felt because of the design. The hostel is also very close to the main train station, Tivoli, and other attractions. Great location.

The rooms were quite cramped for our family of 5. We are travelling for a month so have lots of luggage. If we just had overnight bags it would have been fine

The room was really clean and easy to use for the 6 of us. We were all quite surprised! It was a really nice place to spend time and very smooth overall. It provides everything you need for the money value.

The pool was out of service and that was a bit disappointing since they only told us a week before arrival. Apart from that, there is nothing else we didn't like .
