What a beautiful place. The whole concept is positive. The rooms are downstairs, so they're very quiet, people live on the first floor and the dining, bar and resting area are on the 2nd floor. The decor is fantastic, beautiful, and VERY tasteful - full of Danish design, fabrics and lots of seating area. The breakfast is a la carte so you get what you order and only pay for that. The granola and sourdough bread are to die for:)) I loved the social dining concept. It's a big thing in Denmark.

The only thing I didn't appreciate was the garbage truck at 6:00 on Wednesday morning. Dragging containers over the cobblestones is quite loud. Thankfully it was only one day.

A very nice hotel in Christianhavn, which is arguably the nicest area in Copenhagen. You can easily walk into town from this hotel, or use the Metro. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and pleasant to deal with. The bar area is very stylish, which is where we had breakfast. The breakfast was great, with wonderful coffee and orange juice. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Copenhagen as this place is so very Danish.

A beautiful hotel that feels uniquely Danish. Warm and welcoming hospitality- a highlight was attending the social dinner with wonderful food and a great atmosphere. We will return!

The whole vibe of this boutique hotel is very special. We loved the decor and ambience. The room was roomy for our family of four and we were very comfortable.

Blackout shades on the windows would have been nice. We have small children and they woke early because of the light in the room.

Fantastic place with canal views in a very nice side of Copenaghen, at a short walk from the centre. The flat is really beautiful, nicely furnished and with all the necessary tools available. It's been a fantastic stay!

Great location opposite a canal. Lovely historic building and it felt more like a guesthouse than a hotel which I much prefer. Easy walk into the centre but there was also the metro close by and being January we used it quite a bit. We only had one evening meal but it was delicious and the breakfasts were very good too. The prices for food and drinks were quite reasonable for Copenhagen. Plenty of other places to eat close by too. The room we had was in the basement and large enough for 3 of us. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

My only suggestion is a firmer pillow in the rooms.

I've stayed several times previously but in the apartments. This time because of changed personal circumstances I decide to stay in one of the small basement rooms just before Christmas. It was exactly what I required. The bathroom was super. Breakfasts were exceptional. The staff were very attentive and caring. The location on the Christianshavn Kanal is wonderful. its a short walk to the metro and buses for which it is best to download the Rejsekort app for your phone (will save you money). The local area is full of good restaurants and cafes.

The small basement room that i had did not have a wardrobe but that was a very minor issue.

Great vibe, beautiful decor, quiet, relaxing

It’s a set in a beautiful historic building that has been renovated and decorated with great care and charm. We stayed in one of the apartments for 5 nights in mid winter so opted for space to be able to really relax in after exploring the city all day. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the food and drink offered were high quality and good value. The communal dinner was an interesting experience, sharing great food and conversation with fellow guests and visitors to the hotel.

Everything. Lovely staff - we had our room upgraded for free and the breakfast was brilliant! The apartment was beautiful and thought the staff went above and beyond to provide an incredible service.

Heating was on too high. It was boiling. We appreciate it was quite chilly outside however it sometimes made it difficult to sleep well.

The staff were wonderful and the accommodation was really great. I had a fantastic communal dinner at the restaurant which I highly recommend.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Upgrade totally blew my mind, having a lovely apartment to my use. Also original rooms seemed spacious and comfy. The social area - the bar/breakfast room - was a nice common space.

Had stayed for 1 night previously and enjoyed it so much that we booked to return. Just loved everything about it - a boutique hotel in the best possible sense.

The only tiny aspect to mention here was that we weren't sure where the entrance was on the first occasion we got there - it isn't very obvious

l loved the location , and the ambience in the hotel. I felt very welcomed. The social dinning was excellent and great fun.

The only thing I was expecting was perhaps facilities to make tea and coffee in my room. However quickly became used to this.

This hotel is so perfect! Staff are so lovely and welcoming and the decor really was incredible. Wish I could have stayed longer. Beds are super comfy too and the area is absolutely perfect.

Unique, beautiful, very comfortable.

Not baby friendly. No change tables- I had to change my baby on the bathroom floor! Also no high chairs which meant we had to cancel our dinner reservation and eat out for all other meals too.

Location, vibe, size of room,

I stayed alone in this room, and it was a wonderful experience. I never would have thought that such an authentic space could hide behind such modest doors. The hotel looks like an apartment building, with each apartment as a room. Every room is unique and special. I stayed in a large room with a canal view. Every detail of the interior was simply stunning. It had a true Scandinavian vibe. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had everything I needed. I’m so grateful for the welcome letter and homemade lemonade. It was such a wow moment. A big thank you to the wonderful staff who work there. You are so kind and warm.

I regret only staying for one day. I’ll definitely be back!

It had such well thought off interiors. The entire place represents a lot of Danish Architecture and would highly recommend staying there to anyone who wants to visit Copenhagen.

Really great location - quiet residential neighborhood on the canal. We had a small room in the basement facing the parking lot (versus the street which would have more people walking directly by your window). Room furnishings are a little quirky (no place to put your suitcases and chairs instead of proper bedside tables). Bathroom was clean and huge. This is a charming well-managed boutique hotel - not a cookie cutter mega-chain. Staff are very friendly and community is encouraged. Strongly recommend reserving one of the social dining dinners - it was a highlight (it seems to attract many locals). Breakfast not included in rate but was also high quality. Daily (minimal) room cleaning (towel replacement, bathroom wipe down, bed make up) much appreciated when so many other hotels have eliminated this service.

This is a wonderful hotel with the absolute perfect amount of Danish “hygge.” I strongly recommend the communal dinner, not to mention the delicious food on offer in the bar/cafe for other meals. Everything was smooth here. The design is very cozy and also functional and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to store luggage prior to checkin, which was so convenient and all the staff were happy to answer questions.
