Hotel SP34, Copenhagen

Breakfast - wide variety of organic food. Spaceous room, comfortable beds, extra electric radiator in room. We got corner room with nice view to the square.

When we booked apparently we chose room without breakfast, not awared that we did so, we needed to pay for it extra. Misleading on Booking site. In bathroom the shower glass is too narrow - water gets all around bathroom.

Well located & appointed. Hip vibe. Happy hour and two restaurants attached were a bonus.

Room design is cold - not very Hygge. My room looked onto a Main Street and was a bit noisy. The elevator for my specific room was not working but front desk helped me with my luggage.

Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast- with GF options. Fun atmosphere with their wine hour at 5pm!

Lighting in the room was not great but that is personal opinion.

Design of the room, spacious, comfortable bed, great bathroom, nice big windows, located in a good central area, close to metro and main train station. Danish brand of toiletries in the bathroom was superb!

No coffee machine in the room (a kettle and instant coffee instead). Only one lift and most times had to wait to go up or down. The staff working at reception looked as if they didn't want you there, but staff at breakfast and cleaners were lovely.

We didn't realise that booking a premium room allowed us a free bar at all times. Magic. The place was really great and location perfect for our city break weekend.

The staff really do go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable stay here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The beds, duvets, and pillows are very comfortable, so we slept very well, and the hotel is in a great location, so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. We didn't have breakfast this time around, but from previous stays, there is lots of choice, and the coffee is good. Wine hour (5pm-6pm) and nightcap hour (10pm-11pm) are a lovely complimentary touch for guests to enjoy the downstairs spaces.

Not a dislike, but the rooms that face the street could do with having the windows soundproofed if this is structurally possible. If you are a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs or request a room that doesn't face the street. It didn't bother us as I always carry earplugs when travelling, and my partner is a heavy sleeper.

Friendly, helpful staff. Happy drink hour - didn't expect to make that.

Nice hotel in a rather quiet area really close to city center. Excellent location for Metro and S-trains to travel to various tourist attractions inside and outside Copenhagen. Staff was very helpfull and breakfast was really good.

Lots of free amenities - however sometimes staff forget to tell you this (I was charged for coffee even though there was free coffee for all guests at break time)

Breakfast and location was very good. We were a family and the food selection suited everyone. We were very close to many interesting places in the area and the coast.

It was expensive and as a couple we had two single beds.

The room was very comfortable and a good temperature most of the time. Wine hour was great value. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice and the restaurant itself looked lovely. There was water and tea/coffee/kettles in the room which was a nice touch. Excellent location - could walk to many places and the train was very close if not.

It was a little hot and the room was on a road so it could be noisy in the morning with the window open. Staff seemed confused about breakfast times which resulted in us missing breakfast on the first day.

The ambience was fabulous, lovely friendly helpful staff.

No AC in the rooms, which wouldn’t have been a problem except despite booking a premium room we were on the first floor facing the road so was very noisy even at night There was no sheer curtain and only a thick curtain which blocks the light, which was unusual Not sure how well the showers are cleaned, there were bits of mould on the shower floor

Breakfast was excellent, and the free drink between 5 and 6pm was greatly appreciated. The location was very good for getting around the city, and for the main rail station.

There was a lot of street noise during the evening - mostly construction work, refuse vehicles and so on - which was a problem as it was quite warm and the windows did need to be kept open during the night. One of the walls in the room had dirty marks on it and these could have been cleaned prior to our stay.

The location was top notch, very close to Vesterbro and Central station. Nice interior and room. Clean and fresh. Breakfast was amazing, high class!

Pillows too high and hard, but you can live with that when hotal overall is amazing!

Excellent location and staff. Complimentary drinks throughout our stay was also a bonus as we were staying in a suite!

Thought it was strange there was no air conditioning - we were uncomfortable sleeping at night as a result. Not enough storage space for a family of four - we were living out of suitcases during a week-long stay.

Single bed is too small

Location is perfect. Close to many tourist sites. Train station and metro are within 15 minutes walk. The lobby and breakfast room were updates and nice.

There is only a very small sign above the door. The hotel was hard to find walking in the rain. The halls smelled like gym locker room. No fan or temperature controls in the room. The room was similar to a dormitory room.

The flow of hot water is very weak in the shower. Upon departure the reception ordered us a taxi that cheated us, did not take us to the place we wanted and wanted more money, double, to take us to the right place which was really close .

Great Location!

Well located, cool hotel with nice ambiance & making extra effort - such as free wine hour from 5 to 6pm (and good wine). Very good restaurant downstairs. Busy spot, but well insulated windows - quiet room.

The carpets in corridors and lifts look/feel filthy and should be changed. Cleaning of tables of breakfast (which os excellent!) should be faster.

The location was excellent, very close to the centre area. The staff were absolutely fantastic both at reception and breakfast.

The bathroom was extremely small and impossible to keep the room dry after showering. Also the room was uncomfortably hot with no air conditioning or fan provided.

The room advertised was not what we received. The photo showed twin beads with headboard. We received a double bed - no headboard, a tv too close to the bed to actually watch without hurting your eyes, very basic (for the price) bedding. The room was cleaned daily but not too high standards. The room was generally worn down, windows were not closing, no air-con or fan provided so had to keep windows open for circulation. Not worth the price

Water in the shower barely flows. Also there was some detector of co2 which really strong flash during the night and we weren’t able to switch it off

Bedroom was poorly appointed, dingy decor and badly lit. Corridors all very dingy too, grey being the predominant colour throughout on walls, ceilings and floors except for hotel reception and breakfast restaurant.

No refrigerator in the rooms. The rooms are too small compared to the price. Breakfast can be improved with additional options such as gluten free. No air conditioning.

•Located in a tranquil yet central street, it’s easy to get around Copenhagen as a first-time visitor •I booked a Suite (overlooking the courtyard). Despite not having a ‘city view’, the Suite was so spacious, super comfortable and very clean •Great breakfast! And the waiters are lovely

•Don’t expect a warm welcome. After a 18-hour flight, I was disappointed at how unfriendly and unhelpful the two ladies at reception were

Good location. For the most part liked the design.

A bit narrow and small room…but sure..some charm in that. We missed a mirror in the room. Small bathroom mirror is not enough. Also when taking a shower, the whole bathroom floor get wet.
