Hotel Graduate, Cincinnati

We spent time at the bar and ordered food one night. We enjoyed the bar tender. I believe her name was kathy. She worked mon and tues night. She was a delight. The food was great as well!

Cool place

It was conveniently located near the Cincinnati zoo which was the planned part of our weekend excursion. We were able to walk to the zoo and leave our vehicle in the hotel garage.

No microwave was the biggest drawback that I could tell. Most everything else was fine.

Absolutely loved the aesthetic of Mattel toys and quirky decor! The staff was awesome and friendly at all times.

Few issues: 1: the restaurant in the hotel is extremely expensive and my food was disgusting unfortunately. It happens and I understand but was not happy. 2: this is a personal complaint and this will vary from person to person but I found the rooms to be very cramped and small for the 500 we paid for the weekend. Booked a room with a “handicap accessible bathtub” and it was barely big enough for one person, they just put some bars on the walls. No vending machines, no free breakfast, paid parking etc just made the whole thing kind of a drag. Sucks too because the hotel is visually great.

The in room coffee machine was horrible. No microwave in the room was terrible. Both were next time stay deal breakers possibly except for the perfect location.

We had a problem with our room bid, but the manager was very helpful and took care of the issue right away.

This was the most unique hotel we have ever been in/. So much open space and ieclecric decor. Super clean and helpful staff.

The decor was fun, the rooms were comfortable. The location was great.

When we arrived, prior to the 4 pm check in, the front desk staff member told us absolutely no early check ins. We left and went to eat and returned at 3 pm and there was a long line checking in early.

The location was perfect for my family. The brightly colored decor was exciting. The staff was friendly and welcoming. And there was onsite parking.

The decor/atmosphere is very unique and upbeat. Super clean and everything works perfectly.

Getting to the main lobby area from the parking garage was a bit tricky.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed the pool table and drinks at the bar.

Check in took a little longer than expected and the charges were confusing.

Lighting is horrible, especially in bathroom. Only 1 side of shower door opened....the door opposite of shower head wall. When turning on you got drenched before entering to take a shower. Very pricing per night....$278.

We loved the fun atmosphere with the fun quirky details.

Decor of the hotel was amazing and so much fun. I love all the attention to detail that went into the theme from the wall murals to lighting to room keys and DND sign. Thanks for a great stay.

Not many food options around and some of the surrounding areas are sketchy. Drive quickly and be smart in those more challenging neighborhoods.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff (especially Angie!), a great hotel bar and just a delightful place to stay at - very positive atmosphere.

The property is very close to the University of Cincinnati and is generally well maintained. The rooms are spacious and the hotel includes a fitness center.

The hotel wasn’t as clean as it has been in past years, and non-working machines in the fitness center were never repaired over my four-day stay.

Love the decor and the walk in shower. The staff was all very nice.

Location to the zoo. Short drive a walk to various restaurants. It was brights and colorful especially for kids.

I didnt eat in the restaurants because it looked like what I did see packaged frozen foods with not alot of variety. Need different pillows.

The uniqueness of the hotel’s interior design is unforgettable and very cool and neat. The door passes are super creative and very customer friendly when it comes to drop off at the parking garage.

One of the elevators was not working which limited the transport to one elevator for our floor. I had to wait over 10minutes before it was available for me. The elevator that was not working should have had an out of service sign as we got in and pressed buttons but nothing would happen. The doors would close but thankfully reopen as we wouldn’t get stuck! Yes, we told the downstairs and they said that they were aware…..??

cleaning fees, yet our room was not cleaned daily. also the shampoo bottle was empty we had to ask for refill. But that's okay, as it was resolved right away.

The property was immaculate inside and out. The front desk staff was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Graduate Cincinnati to anyone looking to stay close to the Cincinnati Zoo. 11 stars out of 10!

This hotel is decorated in such a fun manner. The rooms were very clean and the staff were all very nice. Garage parking was safe and convenient and It was an easy walk to the zoo. We enjoyed the patio and fireplace in the evening for dinner and they had a nice selection for breakfast to purchase in the morning.

Our room was right near the fitness center. Lots of banging early morning from the fitness center. Also was a big sports day. The bar was supposed to open at four. Nobody showed up until about 25 and the bar finally opened at 5:30. People were sitting around waiting for drinks, and a lot of people walked away. They seem to have lost a lot of business.

The location was convenient to the main arteries through the city. The zoo and University were right next door. There were food options and shopping spots close by as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor in the lobbies and rooms were bright and fun with great attention to detail. The bar and lounge area were very inviting and comfortable as well.

It would be nice to have coffee shop open longer into the day for afternoon coffee cravings.

When I was unable to extend my stay using Booking.com's online services, the hotel found a way to extend my stay anyway.

The restaurant service was so poor that I cancelled my orders after waiting 20 minutes without even being given a glass of water.

The wallpaper in the bathroom - the cartoon head of a pop figure with a cowboy hat and stars in his eyes, always made me feel alarmed/jumpy…i like bathrooms to be soothing, calm place…but that’s just me

Quirky decor! Location convenient as well. We were in town to see the zoo and then go to the eclipse the next day. Garage parking was easy!

It was great! Didn't use any other facilities we just needed a room.
