Nice hotel
Very nice old classic hotel. Extremely nice feeling about it. We got a free upgrade to suits.
We were offered to pay additional $450 to upgrade our rooms to suits plus buying breakfast. We said no. Then we were offered to pay additional $250 for an upgrade plus the breakfast. We said no again. We eventually got a free upgrade that we didn't ask for neither expected. However, the whole experience made us feel that the hotel was very opportunistic.

The location was safe as it was near the embassies.
The hotel is actually quite small, so the pool, rooftop bar, spa etc are small.

No value for money
The room and top swimming pool
Value for money. It was overprice for the quality they offer. The bed and pillows were not confortable enough for the hotel category. Water from the shower was splashed all over the bathroom

A comfortable stay in a nice hotel that would benefit from a touch of modernisation.
Lovely lounge and wellness areas. The privacy of the sauna and spa was great. Excellent breakfast selection and service. Mina Malak provided wonderful service and connected with us in German and English. Room service and butler service were excellent and very accommodating.
Dated rooms that need refurbishing- very dusty and problematic for an asthmatic. Heavy drapes and carpets. The Blue restaurant was expensive and poor quality with overcooked seafood.

Great hotel
Very professional staff, hotel was very clean and the pool was great.
I would stay here again.
Gratuity added by default even in cases where it was unsubstantiated, eg we had to wait 25 minutes to buy a tiny box of chocolates, poor service and still had to pay gratuity? It was not a lot but the principal of getting a tip whether you did well or not does not sit very well.

Great place to recharge after taking in the hustle and bustle of Cairo
Nice location, breakfast has a decent variety to choose from. Staff is friendly and speaks English well. Mini bar has water and soda included.
The rooms are a bit dated and dark. The beds and bedding could use upgrading. The bathroom is dark and hair dryer did not work.

Perfect stay in Cairo. A little more expensive than most hotels in Egypt, but worth it.
The staff goes above and beyond for their guests. The 2 restaurants inside the hotel were delicious and had excellent customer service. The rooftop pool was heated.

Clean, comfortable, gorgeous
Friendly staff, great spa facilities.
Would recommend ensuring coffee pods replaced each day, as this was the only thing we had to keep reminding our room steward to do.

Decent rooms
The staff were very friendly and Kempinski accommodated our early check in and cleaned the room when we went out for the day. The breakfast was also really good and had a wide variety of cuisine's.
The room wasn't as clean as I expected, it was a bit dusty and the shower screen leaked badly, resulting in the entire bathroom getting wet when we showered.
