A lovely hotel situated along the Nile with beautiful views. The rooms are comfortable, the buffet breakfast is nice, and the staff are very helpful. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay.

During the Christmas week, the breakfast area was very busy and slow. A more spacious entrance would suit the hotel's charm.

Substantial and varied breakfast with delicious omelettes as well as more traditional Egyptian fare. Plenty of fruit and breads too.

Upgraded Nile view room had a fairly restricted view of the Nile, which was a bit disappointing. There seemed to be a court of some kind directly in front of the room.

Every single thing is forged to satisfy you In Kempinski nile you feel at home but even better, in a way that every staff wants to please you and look after you. We felt the warmth and relaxation of the vibes. Many thanks for everyone ❤️❤️❤️

Very professional, very good service on every level the breakfast was amazing. Offering Egyptian specialties and intercontinental with a huge selection of everything. Very efficient housekeeping and room service.

I was very disappointed when stepped on the roof terrace. I was looking forward to swim in the big swimming pool. At my huge disappointment it was a very small pool maybe 10m. Max. The pictures on the website are very misleading.

There were a few things, mostly small (for example had to ask twice to be served during breakfast, only one bottle of shower gel in the room) but one stood out where during breakfast someone from staff was really not welcoming and had a rude attitude. After having communicated about this to hotel staff, they took this to heart but then when discussing about it our comment was challenged which was inappropriate.

Our Nile-facing room was excellent. Spacious, clean, in a peaceful setting. The room had a lovely balcony for two people to sit and enjoy a drink. The staff was supportive and attentive. A great breakfast spread was a bonus.

The room suite was great and breakfast was amazing. Location of the hotel is also convenient and close to the museums, mosques and historic places that we visited. The hotel is also located in a quieter part of Cairo far from loud noises and traffic congestions. All the staff members at Kempinski were very friendly and provided exceptional service. I will definitely miss the view of the the river Nile from the terrace while watching the boats and ships passby!

Twin rooms don’t come with balconies

We were given an excellent room that truly exceeded all our expectations. The space was beautifully designed, extremely comfortable, and far better than what we had anticipated. This upgrade made our stay particularly memorable and added an extra level of enjoyment to the experience.

Right from the get go, our experience was amazing. The staff were very friendly, helped us with any questions and concerns we had. We got the Presidential suite and it was humongous with so many rooms and so much space. We were pleasantly surprised by the size since the hotel looked smaller from the outside.

Professional and courteous staff (much praise to Ibrahim at breakfast), clean and comfortable room and easy location and access to various sites (Giza, Old Cairo, airport). Stayed at various Kempinski hotels and they always meet expectations. 100% recommended.

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous dining options. Tried them all. Welcoming staff. If you want to be treated like a valued guest instead of just a room number this is the place for you. Particularly liked the roof top alfresco dining watching the sun go down over the Nile and the lights of Cairo coming on along with those of the boats plying their trade on the river. Memorable.

It would have been good to have more options for an a la carte breakfast instead of a full buffet which I did not want to eat.

Roof desk closed for a private party. I had planned to use and enjoy it. Keep it open for the paying customers. Private parties can use another space

The space is dated. Couches dirty and the air was not working in the living area. The cost is way to high when transportation is not included.

The staff , Carols and Raneem are exceptional , they both made sure that all is comfortable for me , even the housekeeping staff at the 3rd floor were very polite and nice (the morning and the n8ght shift) The breakfast is also good and , the jazz bar as well.

Most amazing hotel experience ever , and we’ve been around , we love kempinski chain in particular, we’ve been to few Kempinski hotels in middle east and Europe but honestly this the best in service, thanks to Christina in reception she really made our trip she is extraordinary professional ,welcoming , excellent attitude provides truly 7 stars and world class service , thanks kempinski and million thanks Christina

Very central location, very easy to get an Uber. The staff is very very friendly. The bed is very comfortable. Very clean.

The TV doesn’t have Netflix and can only be mirrored by an android phone, we had iPhones so were unable to use the tv. The hotel is nice, but doesn’t feel like a real luxury 5 stars. While the staff is very friendly, they do not have the high-end hospitality training necessary. For example, the brought us whole fruits in a plate with a cling film wrap; no cutlery or plates. They got us the room service by carrying the plate in by hand, without a tray or table. These are small things that differentiate a luxury five star hotel from a 4 star one.

Could be much better

Staff could be better,

Impeccable service at reception, bar and breakfast. The choice of breakfast items was vast, including a large array of fruit which has been lacking in our other Egypt hotels. Huge bedroom with a bath and separate shower. After a disrupted journey and late arrival due to a cancelled internal flight, we were enormously grateful to be granted a late checkout.

Decor in our suite of rooms was a little dated and the pictures in the bedroom were really uninspiring - to the point that on a wall with four pictures, they displayed two pairs of identical prints. The sofa in the sitting room was stained. Notwithstanding these comments, we were hugely gratified to have been upgraded.
