An old-fashioned looking property With modern day facilities

The rooms were very large and spacious. The beds were really comfortable nice and warm lovely thick quilts and excellent facilities. Nice showers and bathrooms.

Loved the bath and huge comfy bed! Location was great, in amongst the castle area.

Promise of on site 24 hour desk was not real! Staff are available by phone but not always on site which can make things tricky. I expected 24 staff as advertised

Smashing place, full of character. We stayed in Room 32 which has it's own private balcony. The room was large an very comfortable.

Fantastic modern Steampunk decor was pleasing and refreshingly different, staff were very friendly and the hotel had a cosy intimate atmosphere.

There was no escalator and the spiral staircase can be challenging for some people.

Great location, right in the centre of the Castle District. The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast is excellent.

It’s quite small so there’s no common area other than the restaurant. So nowhere to sit other than the room. Although there is a bar in the court yard.

The atmosphere and staff were absolutely amazing. The room was exactly what we needed, the location is exceptional. Not many negatives at all.

The inclusive breakfast was very limited to croissant or cereal or fruit. Waiters a bit gruff. Location was fantastic although just street parking 25€ per day.

Very old and tiny hotel. No lounge. Sink and shower in room had very little privacy as no doors! We had one evening meal which was the most expensive out of our 7 evenings and there was 15% service charge and they asked for 5% charge on top for staff! Also got asked to tip when paying 75€ parking fee, never had that before. Very uncomfortable.

Really great location, every bit of space in this historical building used effectively. Unusual for us was bedroom and bathroom at once.

Extraordinary historic building, in a wonderful part of Buda, friendly and helpful staff.

Terrace lights outside on the top floor were controlled from another room and prevented me from sleeping. Electric blinds did not function to cut out excess light.
Hotel communication by email kept requesting confirmation which we had already given several times.

A bar for residence - but there is insufficient need so we understand why. But we could take a bottle of wine back to our rooms at a discounted rate - a great idea!

A beautiful and peaceful boutique hotel located near the most charming part of Buda. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and elegantly decorated.
The restricted traffic in this part of the city made for wonderfully quiet nights.
The à la carte breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. The coffee was good, and lactose-free milk was available. The breakfast staff were attentive and accommodating to our needs.
It’s worth noting that room access is via stairs, which is typical for this type of establishment in historic buildings.
The staff were highly professional and exceptionally friendly.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest; it’s a true gem.

Everything was perfect, the communication before we arrived. The breakfast was exceptional, service was faultless, the room and the facilities were amazing. The location we couldn't have stayed in a more convenient area for our stay, local to some bakeries, shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The views from the palace only a 2 minute walk from the hotel where mind blowing.

Would have preferred a bigger chose of breakfast..Booking.com did not mention the limited chose of breakfast.. all we knew was breakfast was included, but when we got there we were limited to one item from the menu

Room, clean, quiet

The breakfast server was as welcoming as a Parisian waiter on a bad day—trust me, I would know.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building, but has a sleek and modern design on the interior. We had a nice big suite with great decor, a large comfortable bed and hot powerful shower. The chairs in the room were a nice touch when hanging out in the evenings.
The hotel is actually situated in the castle district, Buda castle is a 10min walk away, with lots of other beautiful historic buildings to see en route. The views over the Danube to the parliament building are spectacular! I would 100% recommend staying here!

The towels were a bit small, but that is if I'm being picky...
