12 Revay Hotel, Budapest

The hotel was located centrally in the Pest area and easy to access by taxi. The buffet breakfast had a good selection with hot and cold options. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed. When we asked, the young man on reception recommended a great restaurant locally which was perfect and offered traditional Hungarian dishes at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was great.

The location was incredible! Sandwiched in between the St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Hungarian State Opera House! It could not have been better! I was able to walk everywhere and see all the major sites conveniently.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was spotless and very well maintained — from the lobby to the room, cleanliness was clearly a top priority. The room was comfortable, fresh, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful birthday surprise — they gifted me delicious macaroons, which was such a sweet and unexpected touch. It really made me feel valued as a guest.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay!

It was beautiful, warm, cosy and had a lovely huge bed.

The floor was a bit dirty/dusty, I had to wear socks the whole time and take them off before getting in bed to keep my feet clean.

This hotel has a perfect location: near St.Istvan Basilica, Opera Theatre and big transport hub - Dear Ferenc Ter. The room was quite small, but it had all necessary amenities including electric kettle.

When our room was cleaned, the cleaning ladies did not give us more tea and coffee. And the cleaning itself was not perfect.

Location was super! Close to main attractions.

Not having a fridge which will be a necessity during summer period

Historic building, big rooms, comfortable bed, big bathroom. Good breakfast with various options. We stayed on the 4th floor, with beautiful ceiling windows.

A little noisy from the hallway, but it was ok. Unfortunately no parking near the hotel, but the hotel staff offered various options nearby.

The location was really great. between the 5th quarter and the 7th. the hotel was nice, clean, quite. Breakfast was really good. We enjoyed our stay

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Budapest as everything is close by and in easy walking distance. Perfect place to stay for exploring the Christmas markets as it’s so close to St. Stephen’s Basilica and feels very safe at night.

It’s a shame our room had an indoor courtyard view but it didn’t really matter. It meant it was nice and quiet.

Staff is extremely helpful, kindness and educate. Breakfast is amazing and delicious. Beds are very comfortable and very clean. Best location.

The hotel is pleasant, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff are always polite and helpful.

Although many rooms were filled, the room was well insulated from noise. Hotel guests were respectful. The hotel is in a very central location, close to transport and easy access to attractions. The hotel provided a continental breakfast with a variety of choices. The hotel staff were very professional and friendly.

It has a 24-hour reception desk so is convenient for late-arriving flights.
The hotel is a short walk from Deák Ferenc Square where the 100E airport bus terminates.

Central location, good breakfast selection, big bathroom, staff are very helpful and pleasant. We were given a small bottle of wine to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

It didn’t have a dedicated parking area, the shower was small.

Very calm even with air conditioner operating.

Smoke detector above the bed blinks every 5 seconds, very annoying when all lights are off and you are on the bed with eyes open.
When air conditioner was turned off, there was a little bad smell coming from the ventilation opening.

Had a superior double room. Very spacious, very comfortable, huge comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean as was the ensuite bathroom which had a drench shower head in the cubicle as well as an ordinary one.

There was plenty on offer at breakfast and it was regularly replenished. Although one criticism would be the hot food on offer (eggs, sausages, beans etc, could have been kept a little warmer.

Great location, walking distance to everything. Very nice, clean and modern hotel as well as room. The room was spacious, and the bed was kingsize. Nice staff in the reception. Can definitely recommend the hotel!

Breakfast was very plain - I wouldn't pay extra for this, but instead go out and have breakfast in a café. The bed was a bit too hard for me - but obviously, this is a very individual matter.
