The hotel building was impressive, the room was beautiful, the cleanliness level was great, the stuff was polite and helpful.

The room size was rather small.

The beauty and grandeur of the building. The central location - walking distance from main attractions. The breakfast was outstanding!

The bed was so comfortable and the bedroom was a good size. The interior of the hotel was beautiful and a lovely space to have breakfast in. I was impressed at the special table for gluten free bread and cake options for breakfast. The hotel location was perfect for getting the metro and the tram. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were so friendly.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that there were no coffee sachets or pods in the room - just tea and a nespresso machine presumably to boil the water. It didn't bother us not having a coffee in the room as we just went to breakfast to have it. But maybe others would want a early coffee in the room

Beautiful place, centrally located, close to metro station.

Poor breakfast service, no plates, no cutlery, no glasses, no cups, you had to wait and wait until clean stuff were put on the buffet.

I loved the onsite sauna and lounging area! And the room was spacy and comfortable.

It would have been good if the sauna didn't shut off between 12 and 4pm. Perfect time for saunaing in winter!

An excellent hotel. A very beautiful lobby. The staff member Attila was very kind and welcoming. The beautiful room with a panoramic roof added extra эмоtions. The breakfast was quite good.

It is in a very convenient location and the property has everything that I need .

The room is a bit small

Loved the atrium - a beautiful hotel entrance and it had great health club facilities. Room was a touch small but black out blinds were a useful feature.

Some of the breakfast items were cold (baked beans, hashed browns etc.) if you didn’t get down to breakfast early.

Fabulously grand and memorable interior, very grand. Location is ideal, especially with the metro nearby - easily walkable to main things to see and do.

If being hyper critical our room was a bit small and lacked a proper wardrobe, but was still very nice and well-appointed.

Lovely hotel well located in Budapest to allow you to walk to most of the sights. The rooms were warm and comfortable and despite being at the front of the hotel the soundproofing was excellent so we were not disturbed by the road outside at all. Breakfasts were varied and of a good quality.

Overall the staff at the front desk and those at breakfast were excellent. We found it odd that the bar was not open on certain days, and then on one occasion when it was open the staff member was not present and away for so long we gave up and went out instead. Found it odd that one of the front desk staff didn't step in to cover.

Walking distance to all main attractions & hotel is located in a great area. We visited Budapest to celebrate my birthday and the staff at Hotel Oktogon prepared a birthday card, chocolates & prosecco in our room which was really thoughtful. Thank you to all the staff for making this stay a memorable one, which exceeded our expectations!

Amazing hotel close to everything! Staff were very helpful in suggesting activities and practical things like showing us where umbrellas were to take for the day. Breakfast was lovely...can get busy at peak times. Room was spacious and clean.

Only negative was that the bar was closed for 2 nights of our stay which was a shame considering the bad weather but not a huge issue!

Breakfast was fine, a little busy when we used this option, so may have effected our overall score.
