The Verb Hotel, Boston

Having free breakfast and free water bottles on property really elevated our stay there. The staff was fabulous and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The breakfast was no so good. The options were limited and the quality average.

The room was very clean and because the beds/pillows were super comfortable and the blackout curtains were great, we all slept very well. The body wash/shampoo/etc products were very nice too and smelled great. All the staff we spoke with were super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the music/retro theme carried throughout the whole hotel in very creative and clever ways, listening to some music on vinyl, and all the memorabilia from music history. The location was especially perfect for our tour of Fenway, and beyond. Lots of great restaurants nearby in a range of prices. Loved that we could get bottled water any time we wanted and that umbrellas were available at the entrance during our mostly rainy stay.

Would have been nice to have hot eggs at breakfast.

We love The Verb. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is heated so even in October we could swim, and my husband is obsessed with the coffee in the lobby.

We liked everything, we love staying here and will be back.

To start, if you are a Rock n Roll fan, a musician, or just like music, this place should be TOP on your list. The entire premise of this hotel is centered around music! Most rooms are decorated with an iconic band or artist, along with a record player that actually plays real albums!! They have many free albums for you to take back to your room to listen to through a wonderful Marshall speaker that looks like an actual Marshall amp. It has separate bass and treble controls so you can dial in the sound you want. Its really a great place. Rooms are VERY clean, average size with 42"-50" flat screens, coffee maker and a fridge. YES it has a heated pool also in the center of the property - not too big but does the job. No hot tub. The breakfast that IS INCLUDED with your stay is very very good with fresh made waffles, baked goods, eggs and cereals. It is literally RIGHT NEXT TO FENWAY PARK!! So if you are a baseball fan that wants to go to a game or series, man this is the place to be at. There is a bar/restaurant attached (Japanese style with American food as well) and its pretty good with an outdoor patio on the street and at the pool. Many different food options within 2-3 minutes of the hotel. Last, but really not last, the employees that work here are just excellent - all of them! From the valet folks to the cleaning employees - Super nice and very helpful. I promise you will have a great stay here at The Verb.

Well - its hard to have any complaints, but the very minor complaints I have would be: 1. The lobby is small. The musical theme of the office is awesome, but the decor actually takes up 2/3 of the lobby. This makes it hard to walk in the lobby when 10 or 12 people are waiting to check in with your bags in tow, or just going up to ask questions. 2. The exterior of the building is somewhat old looking and gives off a late 70's - early 80's vibe. Part of the reason for this is the bar thats attached to the hotel. When you pull up for the first time, you start to question if this is really what you chose for a hotel. Seriously, its really not that bad, but when you first see the building, you very slightly cringe, open your mouth and put your teeth together and think "oh man I hope this place is going to be ok?". TRUST ME, you made a good choice - the staff and interior TOTALLY make up for the outside.

Located a bit out of downtown (right next to Fenway Park stadium!) but transport avlbl. Querky hotel with music/rock n roll vibe! Plenty of 🎶 paraphernalia around - and record player in every room! Price was reasonable for Boston. Staff v friendly. Swimming pool!

Breakfast was poor… adequate, but could’ve been presented much better and menu improved. Muffins, waffles, bagels and coffee. Yoghurts, apples…. Cold hardboiled eggs but no hot offering? Kitchen is right there, can’t be too hard to offer fried/scrambled/omelette? Felt like we were eating at a youth hostel!

It was convenient to our show venue and had all the details that made the stay fun, easy and luxurious. The restaurant adjacent was fantastic and the staff friendly. Pretty smoking area outside and easy valet service.

I went to a 3 day concert. It is rock and roll themed. It was perfectly located. In addition to all the rock and roll memorabilia, every room has a record player for their vinyl collection.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was a nice surprise, the location was relatively good ,it's a nice walk for at least 20 minutes for most of the highlights, but it's very close to the museum of fine arts, to a nice green park, to the stadium, to timeout food market. Its clean, good atmosphere feels like the 70s with the records and the decoration, the pool looked nice and compared to the prices in other hotels it was a good value for money.

The records that we tried to play unfortunately were scratched, so we couldn't enjoy them. I would prefer a more central location, but we came in good weather,so it made us walk - healthy ! Other than that- we liked the hotel

Very cool look and vibe

The location is the best in regards to proximity to Fenway, the victory gardens and other attractions in the vicinity. It is fun to play records in the room and we enjoy all the rock n roll stuff to look at

The pool was too chilly to spend much time in. This was our second stay this year, and both times the pool was cold. It was heated in the past and we look forward to that feature of the hotel It was disappointing. Also, our door to the balcony did not lock. We had one of the balcony rooms that are joined with the other balcony rooms and just separated by a planter so it felt a little unsafe.

Loved that it was a small hotel but very comfortable and right by Fenway Park, which was my whole reason for my anniversary trip for my husband! Literally right around the corner from the hotel!

I was very peeved that I somehow missed $73 a night <$78 a night w/tax> mandatory valet parking if you park on site. This hotel checked every box and is amazing but I am truly irritated at the overcharge for parking after I paid $700 for 2 nights!!!!

To say this hotel is stylish would be a total understatement. It’s gorgeous and simply OOZES personality. We got an upgrade to one of the Airstreams in the Backstage area, and it was such a treat! The location was beyond perfection since we were attending a big show at Fenway. Lots of restaurants nearby made it super easy to choose a dinner option. All the staff were lovely, accommodating, and super pleasant.

Literally the only thing I didn’t love was breakfast - I would’ve liked more protein options beyond just hard boiled eggs. But this is really minor!!

Such a cool place with everything at your fingertips. A really clever reimagining of an old hotel with super friendly staff and great facilities including the fun bar and restaurant

The cost of the parking should be made clearer beforehand.

The property is beautiful, you feel like you are in another place and time in all the best ways. It’s such a quaint escape. Not for a moment would you feel like you are in the middle of a bustling city!

Great location. 2 blocks from Fenway. Nice pool area and restaurant very good. Breakfast was quick and continental. Staff very attentive and kind. Shower set up in room needs work gets water everywhere. Def would stay again if visiting this area. Parking convenient but expensive at $73 a night valet on site.

Excellent location! Right next to Fenway! Beautiful pool! Restaurant was awesome and great late night option! Very accommodating staff! Loved our stay!

Pool was a treat but dropped in temperature the time we were there for unknown reasons. Service was super, we enjoyed the restaurant tied to the hotel and there were other restaurant options nearby we enjoyed like Squirrel brewery. We loved the 24 hour access to coffee hot and cold brew. Robes were fun and especially loved the record players.

Quiet noisy. Wish the rooms were better insulated. For the price (we ended up paying $415 including high taxes) I wish there a bit more return. Especially since we don’t eat breakfast.

Location is great for redsox games. Plenty of food options all in walking distance. Rooms nice sized.

Amazing location close to Fenway. Turntables and vinyl selections in the room were super fun. Carly and Jake were incredible.

As everyone mentions parking can be a challenge. But made a reservation nearby through SpotHero after reading comments and it worked out perfectly. Able to pull up at hotel, empty the car within 15 minutes and then go park.
