The Verb Hotel, Boston

Stayed backstage in a trailer and it was very nice. The music paraphanelia around the hotel and record players in every room were a very nice touch. The Pool was 95 deg and perfect for a morning swim. Can’t beat the location for an event at Fenway or MGM. Nitro coffee on Tap? Cold brew and hot, it was really good cold brew too. Breakfast was excellent and they had made to order smoothy options that were terrific. I would gladly stay again though not when the Red sox are in Season. The room rates here seem to more than double during baseball season. Great stay

I totally like the hotel vibes as soon as arrived. I was greeted and the girl at the reception explained all the facilities and important information. The decoration is so on point that I could live there if I could. Pool seems hot and steamy, yet I didn't have the opportunity to go there. The room has so many details that make you stay there all day, like the LP and the vintage decor. I definitely recommend to stay there.

The Verb hotel is beautiful hotel in Fenway. The position is excellent, it is possible to watch Fenway park (the baseball stadium) from the room windows. The staff is super gentle and always available to help. The breakfast does not have a large variety but the food is extremely good! The hot swimming pool is awesome, being outside in the cold of Boston!

Everything was exceptional. The service, having availability of listening to records in room, the icebox water fidge abd overall decor was very cool/awsome!!!

Only negative thing to say was about the attached restaurant....drinks were a little expensive and somewhat weak, but not horrible. Nothing bad to say about hotel or expetience😍

Was surprised that there was not a smart TV! Only ordinary channels. This didn’t sit with the other great things the hotel offered

The hotel is in a great location, and is dependably clean, well-appointed with cheerful staff and a great restaurant attached. The rooms are comfortable and it's been this way every time. Also the price relative to the location and the quality of the hotel is really excellent.

We loved the overall vibe of the hotel and what they have done to make an old Howard Johnsons into a really cool destination. Staff was very helpful and kind and fit the style of the hotel. Loved the added perk of having a record player in the room with access to a library of albums. We were able to bring our dog which was a bonus too!

The room was too hot - they recently switched from AC to Heat so there was no way to cool the room. There was a fan in the room which was nice.

Parking. Had to park at a parking garage a couple of blocks away

The hotel was clean and unique. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The room was very clean and quiet. And the hotel was also named after me, Verb!

I'm sure you hear this all the time. THE PARKING! The hotel looked to have only about 20 parking spots. I had to pay an extra $100 to park in a garage accross the street. A heads-up about this wou;d've been nice. While checking out I was asked about my stay. I was pleasant and told the front desk clerk the truth, that the parking and paying an extra $100 left a very bad taste in my mouth. I was given a key chain for my troubles. SMH. Not sure if I'll stay here next year when I come back.

Super fun quirky place. The house staff were professional and friendly. It was special to swim in the dark in super warm pool.

Breakfast was limited. Parking is quite expensive .. The parking staff brought us a cart for our luggage, but definitely did not want to help us with it. An offer would have been nice, and I think fai to expect help with luggage at a hotel of those type and cost. I would have happily tipped .. but didn't get the chance to dp so as no-one offered to help.

The staff was extraordinarily attentive to my disabled husband who was in town for surgery at the Veterans Hospital. They were vigilant and thoughtful when we were acquiring taxi service to the hospital. The breakfast crew was caring and very helpful. I hope we can return to The Verb under happier circumstances. The front desk staff, housekeeping were all acccomodating, friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, facilities, convenient location, free bottled water, and awesome interior decors.

The vibe and decor were fabulous! We especially loved listening to records on the turntable in our room. The heated pool was very fun! The restaurant and bar were great too!

Great location for the Fenway area. Always a fun place to stay. The pool is next level (95 degrees). The breakfast with chill live music is something rarely seen outside of Nashville.

Exceptionally helpful staff, and a really fun vibe throughout. We really appreciated the terrific touches in the room, and we loved the restaurant! The parking staff was particularly helpful and friendly.

The most friendly, welcoming & fun place to stay

Everything was beyond our expectation. Great place to stay. Staff was superb. The rock/music theme was very well achieved. Interesting memorabilia. A guitar in the lobby for any guest who may be willing to play it. The LP selection to choose from and bring to the room. The breakfast selection was also very well chosen, lots of options to choose from. I was a little bit concern about music being played in every room but the hotel and the room was quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Breakfast time might be a little bit challenging considering you cannot serve yourself. It's like a line in Starbucks, you ask for what you want and you have it prepared for you. There was a bit of a line the first day. The second day there were less people at the time we had our breakfast so it went more smoothly. I wonder how would that process be when the hotel is full.

The rock and roll theme was awesome with so many cool details! I had a delicious drink at the bar, breakfast with a live music serenade and a sushi snack that was terrific. I visited the Isabella Gardner Museum which was a quick walk away, and it's 15-20 minutes by car to everything else. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Unique Rock’n’Roll hotel with a long history and a soul from the 60‘s. Modern standard: Very comfortable bed, nice pool, healthy breakfast included. Customer Orientation above average.

A little bit decentral. 70$ parking fee per night too much and does not fit to the soul of the place.

The record player in the room was unique. We enjoyed being able to go to the lobby grab more records and bring them without any issue back to the room. They had a great selection and although I didn't use the pool it looked great and was heated even in the winter.

Some of the records were scratched a bit which was kind of annoying but a lot of them weren't. Also the location is not quite in the middle of everything but its close enough to walk through the parks and such to get really into the city. Because it was cold we found it harder to want to walk 20-30 minutes into town. There's still good options nearby but a lot of the iconic stuff you'll find closer to the center.

Very clean room and bathroom. The bedding smelled so clean and the blankets were thick and fluffy. The whole place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and plenty of neat things to look at. The outdoor pool was open in late October but is kept at a lovely temperature. Each room has a record player and the lobby has tons of records to borrow for the stay.

The bed in room 104 was very firm; unsure if all the beds are the same. But this would not stop me from staying there in the future.

Love the records! Coffee in the Room. Bed was super comfortable. Shower pressure was perfect. Staff was very accommodating. Also love the limitless supply of water. The pool area is so relaxing and love the live music on the weekend. Location was perfect.

Breakfast was ok. This is not the hotel for breakfast. Quick coffee is what we have and then we went out for Brunch.

The location was great. It was a safe area for walking and lots of good food choices near by. The staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was very good and well organized. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends. If you were a baseball fan and were in Boston for a game, you could not get any closer to Fenway Park.

My only complaint was that our room was too hot and we never could not get it to cool down. I really don't have anything else to comment on.

The vibe at this place is soo cool. The breakfast was better than expected, especially having options for gluten free and diary free.
