The Verb Hotel, Boston

The hotel is beautiful and trendy. Beds are super comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. Everyone was kind and friendly. A little on the expensive side, but that's just my opinion and maybe I don't get out much. 😂 Very conveniently located. Would definitely stay here again.

Outlets on both sides of the bed as well as USB plugs would be helpful.

The decor was such a delightful surprise! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

That we didn't know that there was a heated pool, ha!

The whole staff was incredibly friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning team to the breakfast team. The room was very clean and the atmosphere of the hotel is quite a treat.

The shower was tiled and there was no hand-rail or grip on the floor. It did not feel safe.

I am a sick music fan, but while booking, I didn't check on the photos and was looking at other things. When I arrived and looked around, I wanted to scream! This place is like I have died and went to rock music heaven! The hotel is also combined with a pool, a restaurant, and a bar - and from this day on, this is officially my hotel in Boston!

The WiFi should be protected. I didn't feel safe using it for work.

This is THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN BOSTON!!!! A throwback to the times of rock and roll and great people and fabulous location and simply the BEST VIBE EVER!!!! Amazing decor, fun and music and nostalgia. It's the best music era!! Come see a record player and even use one!!

Love the pool!

The staff was amazing. They were kind, informative and lovely to chat with. The location couldn't be beat, right next to Fenway, restaurants, and music venues. The hotel itself was unparalleled; it was unique and quirky with its music paraphernalia and decorations. Extra bonuses: unlimited nitro brew coffee, both hot and cold; record players in the room with a large record collection; a heated pool (we stayed in early March so the heat was a must); and, finally, robes! really comfy robes. This is the only hotel we would want to stay at in Boston!

Such a unique and enjoyable experience especially if you are a music fan. i felt like I was at the Rock and roll Hall of Fame. Staff was excellent and knowledgeable of the area. This place is a gem.

The Japanese restaurant was ok. Food was average.

The decor was retro rock ‘n’ roll, and it was so cool! Each room had a turntable and you had hundreds of vinyl records that you could choose from in the lobby to bring back to your room. The staff were phenomenal. Jake was extremely helpful. The restaurants were awesome with a delicious burger. The free breakfastwas more than your norm. The croissants were amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it will be my go to place when in Boston.

Parking was a little pricey at $70, but it was safe and easily accessible. Probably on fire with what you’re going to pay in the city anyway.

Fun atmosphere. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our two night stay. I’m bummed we didn’t bring swim suits for the heated pool, it looked fun.

The breakfast set up can be slow. This is more a problem with the guests, not the staff. Guests should have their order figured out before they get up to order so they can order everything at once. Perhaps a few menus to look at while in line would help.

We loved the outdoor pool. Our breakfast was excellent with lots of options to choose from. Our rooms was well equipped and spacious.

There was a party in a room across from our room and it was quite noisy. Also, the forced air heating system is quite loud during the night. There should be a covered area near the pool where you can leave clothes, bathrobes, and towels when it raining or snowing.

Loved the entire vibe. The staff, the decor, the location - it was all perfect.

Record player's needle in the room needed repair and did not work; however, this was fixed quickly and we were able to enjoy great music!

There is a a RECORD PLAYER In every room! And you can pick from hundreds of records to play! It absolutely made the trip. Despite traveling for work, having records to play while I was working made it so much more fun. Definitely one of the most fun hotels I have ever stayed at. It was cute without being kitschy. They also had an amazing breakfast (read full size bakery quality pastries like chocolate croissants, waffles cooke to order, grab and go, etc.) Claudia was noted as the the housekeeper for my room and it was spotless.

No microwaves in the rooms as a heads up.

Fantastic and pleasantly surprising ambiance and decor

I rarely write reviews for hotels, but my stay at Verb Hotel in Boston definitely deserves one. This was my first trip to the U.S., and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. THE VERB HOTEL EXCEDEED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS — from the wonderful atmosphere to the amazing staff and delicious breakfast. The rock’n’roll theme with vinyl records in every room made it even more special. The perfect choice for anyone visiting Boston! I really miss you guys there. Greetings from Ireland!

The heated pool is great in the winter and the staff is awesome.

Loved the overall atmosphere and adjoining restaurant with room service options. The coffee on tap and heated pool were great additions as well!

Our room was REALLY hot! We did not call for assistance to lower though (shame on us) as it was during the night. There was a fan provided though, or we could have cracked our window.

The large size and decor of the room, comfort of the bed and couch, turntable in the room for LPs. Coffee in the lobby (wish there was hot water for tea).

The shower leaks water into the bathroom floor. Needs fixing. The Keurig coffee machine stopped working.

I think the room felt the nicest- the hallways and public areas were a bit rougher. This place definitely appeals to the younger set. I'm in my 40's, so my expectations are probably higher than someone in their 20s or 30s.

This place is SO CHIC. Very nostalgic to 60-80 music. Real working record player in the room. Really nice.

Great staff and facilities for a good price. Location was convenient for our downtown activities. Very clean and the music themed hotel was amazing with a fantastic selection of free to use vinyl LP's.

The entire Vibe of the Verb is amazing. The entire facility was really clean (wonderful smell throughout), and we really enjoyed the location. Also, the turntable in our room was a nice bonus.

Parking is either expensive (valet) or inconvenient (park in a garage nearby). I think we'll take the train in next time!

The staff were exceptional. Everybody was helpful and friendly knowledgeable. The vibe in the music and the coffee in the lounge was amazing.

I had a wonderful time. There’s nothing I have to say in a negative way about the Verb. The weather was a little dicey in Boston, but I don’t think I can blame that on the Verb.

Staff is happy to assist you in anyway. Room clean. Easy check in and out. Valet very polite.

Just a great vibe

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff and decore were fantastic! The vibe was great.

Continental breakfast was so, so... The Japanese menu could have used some more traditonal offerings to appeal to more diverse crowd. We opted not to eat dinner there as a result.

Loved the rock and roll vibe! This is a fun hotel and the staff all seemed to enjoy working there which translates into great customer service. The pool is lovely- even in freezing cold weather as it’s heated. Breakfast is great and for us was unexpected. Rooms are very comfy and it’s great to be able to play records and rediscover some music from my youth!

The property was in a great spot in Boston next to Fenway and right off the highway is an ideal spot for anyone coming to Boston. The vibe, atmosphere, pool, and overall experience were excellent.

The hallway was overly warm I’m not sure if that was due to outside weather being warmer than usual, when I arrived back to my room the temp was at 75, which seemed excessive and I was unable to understand how to cook the room.

Beautiful and clean property. The staff is wonderful.

All of it. As a musician, the guitars in the lobby are a great touch, along with the record player in the room and the records available in the lobby. I was also shocked that the pool was open and heated in December. Definitely had to go for a swim. It was awesome.

The bathroom gets soaked when you shower! And the restaurant is good but complicated to figure out how it functions with the hotel.

The staff is super friendly, rooms are decent size, super clean and well furnished. The heated swimming pool was a huge hit for our two daughters.

The breakfast is good, but we'd really prefer *self serve* pancakes/waffles instead of having staff there (sometimes there's also a bit of a queue). Also, parking seemed excessively expensive (70$ / day).
