The Verb Hotel, Boston

The placec was incredible.... if you are a musical you will love that all the walls are donned with music memorabilia, poster, all over the place fro m multiple different artist, and different genrrss... They also offer a love experience , which is like an eighties , ballads , kind of I can thing where they give you flowers , chocolates and champagne , I believe.... and then they have one where it's you can add on to give a beer package.... when the temperature goes down the pool temperature rises... they have a restaurant in bar... the incident is about 147, but that covers breakfast.Both people staying..... and it's not like a serve yourself, kind of buffet breakfast.They make it for you... the robes were wicked cool to plain white ones.They were like retro 70ss style... every room came with a record player

Then Only thing I didn't really like was I didn't get to enjoy the heat before I left..... i also had an incident with my friend who had amanic episode or sychotic break... we say quickly to care of.... and after I left , when my phone had died , they didn't mind if I charged for a little bit so I could make it on my way , yo where I was going safely

Record player and library was awesome! All the decor is unreal too. Nice shower and room good for a concert or just a stay in Fenway. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was very busy for dinner.

It is the location we stay at when in Boston. We love the heated Pool and overall vibe of the Verb.

The staff were brilliant. The Nirvana tour van was awesome.

Nothing to not like.

A very unique property facilitated a quite pleasurable stay. We appreciated the excellent restaurant and the plentiful and attentive staff. The added bonus of vinyl records in the room was simply delightful.

I only have one small complaint, the water pressure certainly could have been better in the shower.

Awesome experience! We love our room, the vinyl player and sections bring back memories- nostalgic!. Staffs are friendly and helpful. It’s closed to park, my son’s school, next door is Fenway Park. Easy access to everything.

Close enough to walk to the MFA. We walked to Target. Loved the bar and restaurant on premises. Beds were clean and comfortable. Loved the rock and roll decor.

We liked everything!

Great location, near a lot of things. We chose it for its proximity to MFA, which was an easy walk. I've stayed in a lot of Boston hotels for concerts, plays, visits to my child when in college, etc. The Verb could be typical but they make it fun. The music memorabilia is fun and interesting. The records are unique. There was a larger group staying and I was worried about noise/late hours. No issues at all. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We parked at the hotel. I priced other parking nearby and it would have been the same. All this, the free breakfast (a lot of choices), and free bottled water really set The Verb apart.

The Staff are awesome, room clean and breakfast was perfect. Location was extremely convenient to downtown Boston and yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city which is an easy walk.

Very cool place. Love the album selections and record players in the room. Super friendly staff. Really cool vibe and place to stay. They took the hotel experience and made it very unique.

Only issue was we had two rooms and one of the rooms was warm. The temp never came down even with the thermostate lowered.

The museum like feeling, but also that it’s quiet even though it’s in the city.

I wish the heated pool was advertised more, this was my second stay so I knew it was there but my first time going I had no idea and I really wish I had.

This hotel was super! Staff were amazing - the most welcoming and kindest staff I have ever come across. The room was spacious and looked down onto the outdoor heated pool! The heated pool was amazing, espeically in the cold weather. Deffo reccomend this hotel to anyone going - bonus that the bed was so comfy!!

Came to drop my daughter to university.. Quaint and small so very personal and well located! Breakfast wasn’t that great but nearby coffee shops are fabulous. Food at the restaurant was yum! Staff was super helpful and so polite.

Breakfast was poor in European hotel standard as it was a cold breakfast. No hot food/cooked food or a choice of different types of eggs or meats

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly. I appreciated that the hotel provided umbrellas and unlimited bottles of water at no additional charge. We traveled towards the end of the fall season, and the swimming pool was still open, and the water was heated. It looks super nice, but I did not get the time to try it out.

It was good to have breakfast included, but the offering was basic, and the quality was not the best; overall, it was good enough to get started with the day. The fact that there is no elevator could be an issue for people with physical limitations with their mobility.

Room was nice and large, comfortable.

I was frustrated, I went into the restaurant at 9:05, asked if they still offer room service, they said yes, so I went to my room, tried calling 5 times to room service- no answer, then I went down to the restaurant, was told rooms service ended at 9pm, so I sat down for take outs and had a drink at then bar - the bar tender knew I wanted a drink to go as well, but when I asked for my drink to go, he told me the bar closed at 9:30pm. Frustrating! My fridge freezes things which makes for a messy coke explosion.

I come here every year with my nephews! Love it! Such a fun hotel to stay in!

I really liked the record player in the room and the record selection at the reception. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is also good if you are good with continental.

Rock and roll theme. Loved it. Record player, classic albums, 95 degree pool open in winter, free breakfast, guitar to play, on demand cold brew AND hot cold brew!

It was a great staycation . It's a neat hotel filled with rock n roll authentic posters ,vinyl records & more. But the best part is the location I can see Fenway Park it's right out my window. The place is super cool and a great price.

I've stayed here a few times and it never fails to impress. The staff is attentive, available, helpful and welcoming. It makes a big difference to be greeted by someone who seems to actually care that you walked through the door. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and who doesn't love the audio turn tables. We always listen to one or two classic albums when we stay here. The breakfast is the best buffet hotel breakfast around. Lots of variety, high quality (for a hotel breakfast) and really friendly making omelettes, serving you, etc. 24-hour nitro brew coffee is a lovely bonus. Some of the best restaurants in the city (in my opinion) are located in the immediate vicinity. Including the in-house Hojoko with excellent sushi and some of the best cocktails around.

Parking is limited and pricey so leave your car at home--but it's that way all over the city. It's a short walk to Kenmore Square to catch trains but you are best off with Uber, etc.

Its nothing bad, just missing the bed room slippers had to walk around barefoot bc we didnt bring one so we had to wear our shoes/boots fpr breakfast

The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable, and has an excellent location. The staff are very attentive and helpful, which makes the stay feel warm and welcoming.

Breakfast is simple and often quite crowded. The “grab and go” service format weakens the overall experience, making it feel more like a hostel than a hotel, especially considering the room rates. In addition, the Wi-Fi is unstable and often doesn’t work properly at night.

The Verb is at a great location. The Decor is FABULOUS. Staff were WONDERFUL. The rooms were GREAT. The water availability is genious along with the LP's👍 Such a unique establishment, was delightfully surprised ♥️

The adjoining restaurant fare was a tad disappointing however. We ordered the Burger thinking it was going to be something special and everything about it was inferior, very disappointing 😞 I felt the alcohol drinks were watered down also and pricey. I doubt I'd eat there again.

Stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast options, whilst tasty, were somehat limited and repetitive.

It was fun. There was rock memorabilia all over. The bathroom was modern, and the whole room & bathroom were the cleanest I’ve seen!

Would have liked scrambled eggs for breakfast.
