The Verb Hotel, Boston

The large size and decor of the room, comfort of the bed and couch, turntable in the room for LPs. Coffee in the lobby (wish there was hot water for tea).

The shower leaks water into the bathroom floor. Needs fixing. The Keurig coffee machine stopped working.

My room, the records/record player, the staff friendliness, the access to bar & coffee.

I think the room felt the nicest- the hallways and public areas were a bit rougher. This place definitely appeals to the younger set. I'm in my 40's, so my expectations are probably higher than someone in their 20s or 30s.

This place is SO CHIC. Very nostalgic to 60-80 music. Real working record player in the room. Really nice.

The vinyl records I could bring up to my room was awesome! Didn't get to try the pool, too cold out at the time

Location was awesome, breakfast was very good and the live entertainment was a cool experience, Room was very clean and accessible.

Great staff and facilities for a good price. Location was convenient for our downtown activities. Very clean and the music themed hotel was amazing with a fantastic selection of free to use vinyl LP's.

The entire Vibe of the Verb is amazing. The entire facility was really clean (wonderful smell throughout), and we really enjoyed the location. Also, the turntable in our room was a nice bonus.

Parking is either expensive (valet) or inconvenient (park in a garage nearby). I think we'll take the train in next time!

The staff were exceptional. Everybody was helpful and friendly knowledgeable. The vibe in the music and the coffee in the lounge was amazing.

I had a wonderful time. There’s nothing I have to say in a negative way about the Verb. The weather was a little dicey in Boston, but I don’t think I can blame that on the Verb.

Staff is happy to assist you in anyway. Room clean. Easy check in and out. Valet very polite.

Just a great vibe

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff and decore were fantastic! The vibe was great.

Continental breakfast was so, so... The Japanese menu could have used some more traditonal offerings to appeal to more diverse crowd. We opted not to eat dinner there as a result.

Loved the rock and roll vibe! This is a fun hotel and the staff all seemed to enjoy working there which translates into great customer service. The pool is lovely- even in freezing cold weather as it’s heated. Breakfast is great and for us was unexpected. Rooms are very comfy and it’s great to be able to play records and rediscover some music from my youth!

Location & Resturant

The property was in a great spot in Boston next to Fenway and right off the highway is an ideal spot for anyone coming to Boston. The vibe, atmosphere, pool, and overall experience were excellent.

The hallway was overly warm I’m not sure if that was due to outside weather being warmer than usual, when I arrived back to my room the temp was at 75, which seemed excessive and I was unable to understand how to cook the room.

Beautiful and clean property. The staff is wonderful.

All of it. As a musician, the guitars in the lobby are a great touch, along with the record player in the room and the records available in the lobby. I was also shocked that the pool was open and heated in December. Definitely had to go for a swim. It was awesome.

Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

The heated pool is excellent! Majority of staff was super helpful. Comfy beds.

The bathroom gets soaked when you shower! And the restaurant is good but complicated to figure out how it functions with the hotel.

The staff is super friendly, rooms are decent size, super clean and well furnished. The heated swimming pool was a huge hit for our two daughters.

The breakfast is good, but we'd really prefer *self serve* pancakes/waffles instead of having staff there (sometimes there's also a bit of a queue). Also, parking seemed excessively expensive (70$ / day).

Stayed backstage in a trailer and it was very nice. The music paraphanelia around the hotel and record players in every room were a very nice touch. The Pool was 95 deg and perfect for a morning swim. Can’t beat the location for an event at Fenway or MGM. Nitro coffee on Tap? Cold brew and hot, it was really good cold brew too. Breakfast was excellent and they had made to order smoothy options that were terrific. I would gladly stay again though not when the Red sox are in Season. The room rates here seem to more than double during baseball season. Great stay

I totally like the hotel vibes as soon as arrived. I was greeted and the girl at the reception explained all the facilities and important information. The decoration is so on point that I could live there if I could. Pool seems hot and steamy, yet I didn't have the opportunity to go there. The room has so many details that make you stay there all day, like the LP and the vintage decor. I definitely recommend to stay there.

The Verb hotel is beautiful hotel in Fenway. The position is excellent, it is possible to watch Fenway park (the baseball stadium) from the room windows. The staff is super gentle and always available to help. The breakfast does not have a large variety but the food is extremely good! The hot swimming pool is awesome, being outside in the cold of Boston!

Everything was exceptional. The service, having availability of listening to records in room, the icebox water fidge abd overall decor was very cool/awsome!!!

Only negative thing to say was about the attached restaurant....drinks were a little expensive and somewhat weak, but not horrible. Nothing bad to say about hotel or expetience😍

Valet cost is insane

The hotel is in a great location, and is dependably clean, well-appointed with cheerful staff and a great restaurant attached. The rooms are comfortable and it's been this way every time. Also the price relative to the location and the quality of the hotel is really excellent.

We loved the overall vibe of the hotel and what they have done to make an old Howard Johnsons into a really cool destination. Staff was very helpful and kind and fit the style of the hotel. Loved the added perk of having a record player in the room with access to a library of albums. We were able to bring our dog which was a bonus too!

The room was too hot - they recently switched from AC to Heat so there was no way to cool the room. There was a fan in the room which was nice.

Parking. Had to park at a parking garage a couple of blocks away

The hotel was clean and unique. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The room was very clean and quiet. And the hotel was also named after me, Verb!

I'm sure you hear this all the time. THE PARKING! The hotel looked to have only about 20 parking spots. I had to pay an extra $100 to park in a garage accross the street. A heads-up about this wou;d've been nice. While checking out I was asked about my stay. I was pleasant and told the front desk clerk the truth, that the parking and paying an extra $100 left a very bad taste in my mouth. I was given a key chain for my troubles. SMH. Not sure if I'll stay here next year when I come back.

Super fun quirky place. The house staff were professional and friendly. It was special to swim in the dark in super warm pool.

Breakfast was limited. Parking is quite expensive .. The parking staff brought us a cart for our luggage, but definitely did not want to help us with it. An offer would have been nice, and I think fai to expect help with luggage at a hotel of those type and cost. I would have happily tipped .. but didn't get the chance to dp so as no-one offered to help.

The staff was extraordinarily attentive to my disabled husband who was in town for surgery at the Veterans Hospital. They were vigilant and thoughtful when we were acquiring taxi service to the hospital. The breakfast crew was caring and very helpful. I hope we can return to The Verb under happier circumstances. The front desk staff, housekeeping were all acccomodating, friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, facilities, convenient location, free bottled water, and awesome interior decors.

The vibe and decor were fabulous! We especially loved listening to records on the turntable in our room. The heated pool was very fun! The restaurant and bar were great too!

Great location for the Fenway area. Always a fun place to stay. The pool is next level (95 degrees). The breakfast with chill live music is something rarely seen outside of Nashville.
