Very good location

Room was very small. We came with backpacks, if we had a luggage it would not have fit. Since our last stay here in 2021, they have cut back on toiletries provided and for shampoo they provided a bar of soap (previously normal shampoo and conditioner). This is all under the label of being eco but feels cheap. For the price paid, it is not impressive.

We liked that it was very central. The staff was friendly. The eoom was comfortable and clean.

There could be more towels. The overlookes a street which was a little noisy.

It's central and the staff is top notch.

Too much noise until nearly midnight coming from bars in front of tbe hotel. Carpet floors which are bad for people with allergies. There are 2 restaurants, one at the ground floor and another on the rooftop. There's a lot of non hotel guests transiting around, and that is bad for security. It's also not worth the price, the rooms are very basic and small.

Fabulous hotel. Excellent central location. Friendly helpful efficient staff. Great food & service. Clean room & very comfy bed.

The roof bar is fun with a good view. The restaurant had good offerings. We were able to park at a garage close by.

As many have said before, this hotel would be nothing without its incredible staff. I’ve yet to stay in a hotel in France with better staff. They are incredible. The music at night is superb. It’s funky with a great vibe.

The bathrooms are tired and showers need re-grouting. The bar service is painfully slow. To the point where we almost left, twice. For a 2/3 star it’s very overpriced. I’ve stayed in several places in Bordeaux now and you can get better deals at 4 star plus stays. Instead of the upgrade to an XL room (I had already paid for a large room) I would have preferred an earlier check in as we landed at 8.30am and had been up at 3.30am. So we had to wander Bordeaux until 3pm. We left early the next day so pretty pointless really.

Locatiom

I liked the room with a view on the roofs, the bed facing the window and the sunset in the evening.

I really dislike the toilet not being in the same room as the washing basin. I don’t like the fact that the shower is so close to the toilet and there nowhere to keep toiletries out of the shower. I don’t think there’s enough room to put away clothes & shoes when 2 people are staying in the same room.

Excellent staff. Ready to help when needed even when busy. Good service at the Rooftop bar.

The air-conditioning did not work. However, a fan was brought to the room which helped but not completely.

This was our second time to Mama, and we loved our stay. The staff are the highlight; they are so sweet and go above and beyond to make your stay. When we arrived, they gave us free cocktails to enjoy on the rooftop as we rebooked. Then the first night, our air con broke, so they immediately moved us to another room the next day and discounted our first night. It's just great customer service. And again per my last review, the location is amazing, and the rooftop is very cool and convenient to have upstairs.

Excellent location, fantastic breakfast (still dreaming about the crêpes à l’orange et caramel) and warm and welcoming staff.

Lay-out of the room with bed smack in the middle makes it difficult to navigate as well as to find a spot for your suitcase.
