L’Hôtel Particulier, Bordeaux

Amazing and luxurious room in a wonderful and central location. Instead of breakfast at the hotel we went round the corner to a great little boulangerie - better value and more fun!

It is a lovely traditional building around a central courtyard. The decoration is traditional and interesting and well done. There is a lift with a staircase winding around it.

Room size, bed size and quality, cleanliness, beautiful decor in the rooms, excellent service with a smile, individual attention, location superb.

The first room we stayed in with a terrace had the toilet almost inside the bedroom and the shower had been actually inside the bedroom with very little privacy. The second room we moved to was just perfect.

We stayed in the Pomerol suite which was huge and beautiful. Loved the quirky bathroom! Bed was very very comfortable and the room was spotless. Absolutely fantastic location, so easy to get tram to/from airport and also in town centre so we could walk everywhere once there. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely hotel within a converted mansion - when you find it! Our top tip is to set GPS to head straight for the Pey Berland car park and proceed on foot with luggage - it’s only a couple of minutes walk from the Monoprix exit. Very nice rooms and comfortable rooms although a bit noisy at breakfast time in the room adjoining the breakfast room.

The hotel is really lovely and the staff very helpful. However in terms of value for money a daily bottle of free water would have been welcome. We would have appreciated more dry towels. No hot drinks in the room but there is coffee and tea, fruit and biscuits available all day however in the morning the Nespresso machine is not available which is when the coffee would be most appreciated. The lift keeps getting stuck because guests don’t shut the gates properly which means that disabled guests are stranded if they cannot manage stairs.

OMG, this was the most amazing hotel room I have had the luxury of staying in. I was absolutely floored when I walked into this beautiful French apartment, I hardly wanted to leave it. There was so much space and openness that I didn’t know what do with myself. The balcony was a gorgeous addition to sit on and watch the sunset over the Cathedral. The bed was superbly large and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and chic with great soaps and lotions to use. The location was fantastic too, everything was so close and in walking distance that you barely had to go far for any walking tours, cafes, restaurants or monuments. I would recommend anyone to stay here. I loved it.

Parking was a challenge since many of the streets in the city ate inaccessible by car.

Loved our stay at Hotel Particulier. Situated in the perfect location in beautiful Bordeaux. The rooms are gorgeous - we stayed in two and both were overlooking the main street at the front with lovely views and filled with light. Each rooms was very spacious with stylish decor and super comfy beds which made for a truly wonderful stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and happy to assist with any questions we had. Just loved it!

The hotel has a great wow factor for sure ! Lovely decor - very French 18th-19th Century High ceilings, high doors and windows, large room and bed. Modern plumbing We had a room with a balcony view to the street, great view to buildings opposite and to watch the trams go by. Great central location - easy walk to all the to the city shops, sites and places to eat. Front desk staff very helpful. Nice breakfast We stayed for 2 nights.

Great location, very helpful staff, spacious rooms, good breakfast. Tough to get there by car, but great location for walking and public transportation.

Strange smell in our bathroom. One night the elevator didn’t operate, and there was no WiFi.

Breakfast did not live up to expectations I am pleased we only had one breakfast during our 4 night stay I did not feel it was value for money and the quality was lacking Breakfast was timed between 7.30 and 11 am We took breakfast a 9am Very little had been topped up eg only a few strawberries, only 2 croissants, empty eggs and bacon, low on juice I wised we had gone elsewhere where we could have had more choice at a better price

We loved everything about this hotel. The room was beautifully appointed and one of the larger rooms I have stayed in anywhere. The staff was friendly, helpful and amenable to any request. The king bed was very comfortable with extra pillows and wonderful sheets. The bathroom/shower was fabulous. Really cant say enough about this hotel including its location. We had breakfast there one day which was a very good value. They have coffee, tea, fruit and snacks available 24 hours a day. Would highly recommend!

Really beautiful bedroom! Ceiling high is impressive! They have kept that french heritage so well. The breakfast was really good! The location is also perfect! The lady at the reception was also really nice and accommodating for our late check in! We loved it!

Very nice building in the city center, 2 minutes walks to the Cathedral and from the shopping area. you have access by car to drop the luggage's and a good fare to a car park 7mn walk away from the hotel. The staff is super professional and always available to help you out, from check-in to check-out. They were kind enough to accommodate an early departure and prepare some breakfast outside the opening hours. The suite is super spacious with 2 bedrooms, a huge bathroom (bathtub and shower) and a huge living room with table and chairs to enjoy the breakfast in the room. A must go if you want to treat yourself with a nice hotel in the city center of Bordeaux.
