Hôtel La Cour Carrée, Bordeaux

Literally a five minute walk to the beginning of everything! The location is amazing. Stunning restaurants and shops very close. The hotel is down a very quiet road and was so quiet at night. Just perfect for exploring Bordeaux. The bed was so comfy and we had the best nights sleep.

Really sweet bijou place. Ancient walls and stair case. But - the carpet was pretty worn and stained in places.

placement of toilet paper roll makes it impossible to sit on toilet! have to take it off to sit.

we did not get a reception to get their calls and didn’t réalise it was check in only till 9pm, there was no parking although that is why we chose the hotel and the person I called was rude and unhelpful

Clean and convenient location with private car park

Room could be a bit small and inconvenient with lot of baggage especially due to the walkup building. No slippers to walk in the room.

This is a fabulous little find, just off a main road, but still right in the middle of town so everything is either easy walking or hop on a tram if you need yo g farther afield. Super friendly staff on reception both arriving and departing. It's nothing too fancy, but hots the spot for a short stay over.

They were going to charge us for leaving the bags for 30mins!

Location very close to restaurant area in city center of very beautiful city along Garonne river and 5 min from main tram station. Friendly owner and other staff and breakfast via list of preferences, so no spilling buffet. The wine museum is a must see and so is a trip to St Emilion or other wine area.

The bath had only a rain shower head, so a head with 2 settings would be more convenient and water-energy saving.

you had to preorder breakfast the night before from a limited list . we didn’t opt for this but had two black coffees and a tea (no facilities in the room to make this) in the foyer and were charged £12

very difficult stairs. senior citizens, my friend fell. we were moved to room on main floor.

Great location. Walking distance to everything. Quiet hotel. Staff were so helpful. Nothing was a problem when we asked for anything or some advice. Very clean. Room and towels cleaned every day and everything left spotlessly clean on return. Would recommend this hotel. Easy access after late flight. Great communication before our arrival. Very helpful

If I am to be picky.....one water in room for 3 people. Small room. No toilet facilities apart from bedroom. No bar. Tiny wardrobe in triple room.

the hotel didn’t have parking so we had to park our car in public garage.. the breakfast is very poor.. it could be cleaner,especially the bathroom

Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, central location, big well designed room very comfortable bed. Parking was available in hotel garage at reasonable rates. We did not have breakfast but looked very nice.

Although we had no difficulties, people with disabilities would find stairs difficult and there is no lift.

A very convenient location on a very quiet street. Walking distance to some sites and close to public transportation. The building reflects the wonderful, old Bordeaux architecture but the rooms are very modern, updated and relaxing.

The room and bathroom were smaller than I anticipated. The staff were very helpful though and the location was very central.
