The room was excellent for our family of 5, we were very pleased with it.

The overall feeling inside the hotel is of it being outdated, like if a renovation is due.

Great location and very helpful concierge

They should have notified us of the bollard entrance. I ended up damaging the rental car, but the concierge was very helpful in assisting me.

The staff in all areas of the hotel were excellent and made it a wonderful stay and the location is perfect even though we were a bit disappointed with the overall facilities and the rooms, we felt that they were quite dated and in need of modernisation and upgrading to meet the expectation that they create and we expected.

This is a first rate hotel with all the facilities you would want, including a great rooftop bar and restaurant. The staff were exceptional and very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and close to shops, restaurants , tram stops as well as being centrally located to access all of the delights of Bordeaux.

Liked everything about this hotel. Only one small issue, our room had a toilet separate to the bathroom ( which we liked) but there was no sink in it for washing hands.

The hotel was centrally located, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and provided great customer service. We especially loved the terrace attached to our room. All in perfect place.

Shower in the bathtub and uncomfortable lounge was the only downside to an otherwise excellent experience.

Cocktails were limited and poorly mixed on the roof top bar with limited choice of beers.

Great location. Right in the heart of the city.

Need vents in the bathroom and the toilet. It gets hot in the toilet and the bathroom also has no ventilation/air flow so it’s dripping with water after a shower or bath. It’s not ideal.

Superb location and excellent hotel. the concierge team were so so helpful and the rooms are beautiful. Opposite the opera house you can be better placed to explore the stunning Bordeaux.

There was a little mix up on reception which was soon sorted, personally I would not expect plastic flowers in reception of a five star hotel ( I was at the Corinthian London the week before and their fresh flowers would put these to shame). On a Sunday the hotel pool does not open until after 9am which is disappointing. On arrival the entry to the car parking is tricky to work out and compared to some other hotels we stayed they sent in advance very explicit instructions which they may wish to consider. That said, the front house team were very helpful in sorting once we had arrived.

Paid extra to get a balcony. Big mistake. Very poorly designed and not easy to use. Do not recommend.

The room furniture was in need of updating. Chairs need to be reupholstered. The view of our Premium room was to an alley and the windows could not be opened.
