Everything was absolutely peeling! What an exceptionally lovely hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything was incredible. The quality of the food but also the room. But what made our stay exceptional was by far the staff. We sometimes feel like we don't belong in these exclusive places. But the staff made us feel included and welcome every step of the way. They allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience and we are incredibly grateful for that. Thank you so much for making our stay special.

Loved this hotel. Really cozy, great services and super clean. Good food for any part of the day: breakfast, lunch or dinner. Good location as well. Charlotenburg is my fav area, central enough but not in Mitte. Super nice rooms, great height. We will definitely stay again here.

I booked a room with balcony and nxt time I will book an ordinary one. The balcony did not bring any extra but was more expensive. Also, it was not properly clean on the balcony a bit dusty.

flawless customer service, this was my second visit and the standards were precisely as high as during my first (January 2022). front of house staff, kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance made it their business to be polite and friendly with every encounter. beautiful property, very well designed room layout, balcony is lovely. large lavatory, toilet has separate door, spotlessly cleaned. the establishment and its personnel define the word ‘hospitality’. my needs are met before “needing them” (good umbrellas!). easy 10/10.

breakfast could use some streamlining. I’d prefer a different eggs benny with either croissants or an English muffin. Hollandaise should be better. warm buffet was a little stale, and the bacon was far too crispy. why not make less and refill more often? cold buffet is excellent. coffee is excellent.

It’s like 4* hotel, overpriced.

This property is an interesting mix of two worlds. The exterior, lobby and public spaces are seriously art deco and very interesting with videos of old Berlin playing in the hallways. The rooms, however, feel very much like the Marriott they are! Nothing wrong with them at all -- comfortable, spacious bathroom -- just not very unique. The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. It was just a few minutes walk to busy parts of Berlin but felt more like a residential neighborhood.

I have been to Berlin many times and this is the first time I stayed in this part of town. While the hotel is no more than a 10 minute walk to K'damm, KaDeWe, the Kaiser Wilhem church, the zoo and other landmarks, for me the neighborhood felt a little far afield from 'central' Berlin (where 'central' Berlin is located is always up for debate, though). I found myself renting scooters and ebikes every day to head east down Unter den Linden and beyond. If you love high end shopping, the zoo, the aquarium, and western Berlin, this hotel is a great choice. I found the area a bit touristy, the immediate neighborhood a little too quiet, and the area around the Zoo Bahnhof to be uncharacteristically dirty. Breakfast was only okay.

Spacious room, great shower, interior all good. Location is tough to beat, loads of bars and restaurants, KaDeWe close and many U/S-Bahn stations. Nice outside space at center. Friendly staff.

Matress was too soft for my liking. Small thing: Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon we wanted to have a cheeky beer but the bar was closed. Okay, hotel wasn't super full and they offered a beer for the room, but it was a pity we couldn't sit outside and enjoy a freshly poured beer in the bar area outside. It's not a big deal, but it's a pricey hotel and I expected the beer to be open throughout the day and until 11pm.

Steinplatz is a lovely boutique hotel in a pretty and quiet neighborhood with a selection of good restaurants nearby. The service was excellent; all the employees with whom we interacted were helpful, friendly and competent.

The cost of breakfast. Instead of eating in the hotel, we opted to go into the neighborhood for coffee and a roll, which was a fraction of the cost of what we would have spent at the hotel.

Cleanliness was not perfect but was handled by the staff perfectly and fixed. At the end a very good experience

Size of room definitely, One surface only, a table with 3 sockets ridiculously placed and not enough room to put devices for 2 people to charge or anything else. The corner of the cupboard above was placed in such a way, one could easily hurt one’s head, the Bathroom was far too small , altogether extremely impractical and frustrating. Shelving impossible to reach. Wrong room choice on our part. There are other, more spacious rooms available, which we will choose next time.
