Amazing location, nice cafe attached to the hostel, very clean, lots of natural light, and private! Exceeded expectations and fantastic value for money! Easy check in/out and well located less than 10-minute walk from Hermanplatz.

It is a lovely idea that the rooms are from camper vans. The bathrooms vere amazingly clean all the time.

You could hear all the other people and it was quite difficult to ventilate the room. In summer it must be extremely hot in there

We stayed in a separate family room. The kids loved the bunk beds and added touches like individual reading lamps and charging points. Very friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. Spacious room with good facilities. Safe and secure location in good proximity to transport and restaurants etc.

The pillow was not nice and the mattress was a bit too thin for me.

Very large, spacious and clean room - larger than I had anticipated - and well stocked. The team were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and hospitable, flexible with check-in and check-out. Excellent location, local and around the best bars, cafes and restaurants.

Cozy and unique

Well designed interior, always clean bathroom, comfortable, clean bed and caravan. It was easy to find and get in. The location is good as well, we usually went by foot everywhere, but buses and underground are in a walking distance, airport is not too far. There were a lot of bars and shops nearby.

It's my first time to staying in hostel and it was absolutely wonderful choice! Great concept, friendly stuff, clean and comfortable bed, quite place. Wonderful little garden. Close to cool bars and metro station. Definitely will recommend this place to my friends.

Overall, very clean, spacious, and quiet in Berlin. Very convenient and good value if you want to be in Kreuzberg/Neukölln. I stayed in one of the private hotel rooms, which was nice and well-appointed, but much less charming than the cabins and caravans (which don't have private baths). It was a little tricky for me to figure out the heat, but once I did, the room was toasty. Good coffee (senseo system) in the room. No TV but I couldn't care less. Bathroom: the water pressure was strong and hot water was very hot - the bathroom was excellent other than one issue mentioned below. There is a very nice-looking little garden, but the weather was cold and largely rainy while I was there. The few staff I had contact with were friendly and helpful.

I found it a little odd that the small shower stall had neither door nor curtain - the area of the bathroom just outside the stall got very wet. The bed was firm - a bit hard for me, but that's better than too soft. The main reason I give it less than a perfect rating is the limited check-in and reception hours. No on-site service beyond 9am-6pm, and late check-in is only possible until 10pm. (Early check-out is fine.) That did require me to choose an earlier and more expensive flight than I would have liked. This is clear on their website but it wasn't on Booking.com - so actually I blame Booking.com for this more than the hotel. (They did mention it immediately when I made the booking. If it had been a big problem for me, I could have canceled with no charge.) Late check-in was very easy with advance notice.

Amazing venue! Cutest ho(s)tel I've ever stayed. Very welcoming staff, feels like coming home :) Everything was very neat and clean. One of the cleanest ho(s)tels i've been to!

Matrasses are a little hard for my personal liking, but thats literally the only thing I could think off!

It was in a great neighborhood. It was unpretentious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas of huttenpalast were quite lovely.

I did not fully appreciate how quiet I would have to be because the campers are all close together and very open. There was visual privacy, but no audio privacy. I also did not realize how short the beds would be.

A brilliant unique idea! Cosy caravans but not exposed to the outdoor weather. Communal areas indoors and out with free tea and coffee.

Location was a in a grimy inner city area But U-Bahns a short walk away.

Great location, nice staff, very cool, unique stay. Has cool areas inside and outside to hang and make friends with other travelers. There's a cafe attached with good coffee and food with nice vibes. Close to public transit.

Bed was small, but that's to be expected when you stay in a little camper. You definitely need earplugs if you're a light sleeper because you can hear people walking to the bathroom, zipping up bags, and snoring (also to be expected in a hostel setting).

The room and bathroom were very clean. The welcome was exceptionally friendly and we loved the inner courtyard where you can have breakfast or a wine in the evening.

The staff was nice and helpful, eager to answer any questions and give tips about the city. The place was well kept and clean. Overall the stay was pleasant.

It was very different from all the other accommodations that I have booked, the facilities were clean. And the staff were awesome, very welcoming and had overall a good aura.

The staff were very helpful, and nice. The garden was a lovely area to hang out in. Very quiet at night, good nights sleep. A very eclectic neighbourhood. Lots of cafes and bars to choose from. Very close to the subway, easy to get around.

If there was more room to place your toiletries on the vanity in the bathroom.

General ambience created by the outdoor space and the location of the rooms added to the sense that the hotel was also concerned in lifestyle choices. The food from the restaurant / cafe was of a very high standard. The people working there were charming and took pleasure in the food they prepared and presented which made for the culinary experience.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Our cabin was cozy and clean and the common areas were inviting and beautiful. Despite location in popular neighbourhood, it was quiet and peaceful. Close to metro station and many cool cafes and bars.

The breakfast and garden were the highlight of the property. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We spent our evenings with drinks and cards in the garden, and couldn't have asked for anything better.

I wish there was a microwave and fridge available / some sort of shared kitchen. If there was one on the property, it wasn't shown to me. I appreciated that coffee and water were provided.

It was a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, very nicely decorated areas, and clever solutions to make the caravans into small hotel rooms. Nicely cleaned shared bathrooms and showers.

Although it was very pretty, the cabin could be a bit hot during a warm summer.

Cool place, great location, nicest staff!

Hotel room was spacious, clean and cozy to our taste. Room was on the inner yard side, no disturbance/noise coming from the street. Really nice bathroom as well. Room has a table for remote working during the days. Staff was very friendly and it was easy to plan the arrival times and communication worked well before and during the stay. We absolutely loved the garden. Such a relaxed place to also work, enjoy breakfast and drinks. Location was excellent for us, we really like this lively neighborhood with its nice restaurants and small shops. Also well connected to public transportation. Warm thank you! We would definitely come to stay again.

Everything was perfect, no complains. Only a small suggestion for keeping the new bathroom in a good condition for longer: it might be a good idea to hang a shower curtain to the shower cabinet to protect the walls and floor from water. No matter how carefully you try not to splash the water, it tends to flow further :)

If we are really going into detail, we would have liked to have better curtains. I like to sleep in a completely dark room and that wasn’t possible but nothing serious.

We were here only one night. We had a lovely stay. The owner was very welcoming and had a great sense of humor. The place is definitely special! We were a bit unlucky with our neighbors as they were chatting loudly that night, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The area is great with lots of cool restaurants and cafés. The toilets were clean, and the bed and room were comfortable (small, but it was perfectly fine for a night!). I loved the garden and common areas!

It is soooo fun and unique! absolutely loved the caravans, the gardens were a wonderful surprise, facilities were sparkling clean and staff helpful and accommodating. The vintage decor was a wonder :)

The caravans are small.. it’s cozy! not the fault of the host, but noise carries…earplugs are a real necessity. (Our neighbour was watching a movie without headphones… we heard it all.)

This is really a special place and we are so happy that we booked this hotel, even if we only stayed for one night. Cozy and beautiful caravans located indoors, warm and friendly staff and a magical breakfast in an atmosphere that made us feel so welcomed... We recommend this place to anyone in every age!

Our caravan was surprisingly comfortable and we really enjoyed living room with coffee and tea. Althought we expected busy night, place was totaly quiet and we slept very well.

We didn´t like the surrounding of the hotel, we just went really quickly to the underground to get out of the street that is really dirty. But the hotel is like the hidden retreat - there is a garden inside and place looks really nice and safe.

The staff were very friendly and the cafe next door served delicious food and coffee. Beautiful plants in the common room and the garden. Felt like an oasis!

There’s no fridge which made it hard to buy groceries if we didn’t feel like eating out each day.

Nothing - everything completely exceeded expectations.

The staff was super friendly, ensuring we were happy with our stay. We had some issues with our booking but they made their best to work through it. The hall with all the caravans was cool, with clean facilities, and a gold star to the café. Amazing to walk over there in the morning and enjoy a good breakfast. Eggs? Waffles? Granola and yogurt bowl? All there and all 10/10 tasty. We had all our trip's breakfast at that café.

It is not really soundproof, and we had the loudest neighbors known to man (Ok, Hüttenpalast can't be blamed for that last part), but just letting you know that you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

The idea of a caravan/ cabin indoors was amazing. The attention to detail and excellent customer service made my stay even more special. If you’re looking for something different and fun, huttenpalast is the place for you. I will definitely be coming back!

I really liked the vibe and how cozy it was. Also the host was warm and welcoming, we got there one hour before our check-in time and she let us in earlier. Jamies cafe was also really superb. Would like to visit again. In this cafe you have vegan options!

Location, streets are full of garbage and I felt a bit sketched out. Maybe that place gives you hope, because it really is cosy and unique.
