Brilliant Apartments, Berlin

This was a super comfortable place to stay. Very clean and cute, and the location was excellent. All the comfort of staying in an apartment, none of the fuss of short-term rental apps.

This place is in a vibrant and safe neighbourhood. The apartment is quite. All the amenities in the appartment are working. In total it was quite a pleasent stay for us.

Beautifully decorated and very well located.

The cost was a shock. €285 a night. It felt steep but there wasn’t much competition in the area, so we took a deep breath and went for it. Our 2 bed apartment had 2 very large bedrooms. There was only a tv in one of them. And no tv in the small seating area in the kitchen. It would have been great to have had the option to watch tv once our son was asleep (the tv was in his room). When we arrived the tv wasn’t connected to WiFi. The host sorted that for us by the end of our second full day. We had one cleaning service during a 7 night stay, which was fine for us. But previous self catering bookings of ours in other European cities have offered it daily. When there were guest in the flat above it was very noisy (you can hear every footstep). But I think that’s normal for the age of the building and can’t be helped!

The apartment was spacious and and comfortable. There was a well equipped kitchen and also a washing machine ( which we did not use). We happened to be staying during a bank holiday weekend, and although the local food store which was 2 minutes walk away was closed for part of our stay, there were many restaurants and cafes in the streets near the apartment which were open.

Really our one bedroom apartment was great. There as one sofa to sit on, and we would have found an extra armchair useful.

Unfortunately there was a flood at the apartment when we arrived and we weren't able to stay there for health and safety reasons. The host Simon was absolutely amazing sourcing us another place to stay. Simon couldn't have been more helpful, given the very distressing circumstances he had to deal with. The apartment was beautiful even though we didn't get the chance to stay in it.

Great location in old east German neighborhood close to the tram and UBan. Great apartment with a cool vibe, and everything you needed. Great host.

Simon was such an attentive and excellent host! The apartment was very beautiful, the design is so cute!!! We all loved it so much, can’t wait to come back.

I loved how clean it was, the location was fantastic and it was quiet. I also felt very safe. There was adequate kitchen space and having access to a washer.

Great staff, nice apartment.

Walk to grocery was considerably longer than expected. Despite help from staff we never did get the stove top working. Oven did the trick. Part of the problem is the radically different design of EU appliances. Washing machine great but had to dry everything on a rack.

Stylish quirky decor, warm, clean. Light and airy and spacious. Reasonably equipped for a self catering short stay. Safe with Easy check in and out. Loved the little map and recommendations provided. Great cafe and ice cream shop next door as well as huge choice of restaurants within walking distance. Loved also the cool clothes shops within the area. Easy access to central Berlin. Warm showers, comfy beds and nice towels provided.

The apartment (H43) was lovely and cozy, we spent there five nights: a large bedroom, a living/dining room, large bathroom, and a separate kitchen. The apartment faces a nice and large courtyard, absolutely quiet and perfect for a good sleep. The location in Prenzlauer Berg is great if you do not want to stay in the very center of Berlin (Mitte), but in a more authentic neighborhood, not touristy and full of character. Odebergerstrasse is a lively street, filled with nice shops, restaurants and cafes. Public transportation is extremely efficient in Berlin, so it is easy to go anywhere (the nearest U-Bahn, Eberwalderstrasse, is very close by, but also several lines of tram going to the main train station of to the center of the city in about 15 minutes). The owners provide good suggestions for restaurants and other shops and services. If you need to buy groceries, two markets are close by (one with biological products).

Perhaps a little improvement would be a pan in the kitchen.

There wasn’t anything, it worked for us completely. Having 1 bathroom was a little harder work but I aslong as you are happy with one bathroom it is definitely a place I would recommend. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Berlin. The property is not in the centre of Berlin so you do have to use public transport to get to any sights but that is expected of most cities. This place however was in a really cool part of Berlin with bars and restaurants right outside your door.

Our stay at Brilliant Apartments was one of the highlights of our time in Berlin. We were there for a week for the marathon. The apartment itself was beautifully styled, clean, and quiet. The neighborhood itself is a little ways out from Tiergarten but easy enough to get to, which overall we preferred. The area is mostly locals and there is great access to food and drink, with a nice park right by. Franca and Simon were easy to communicate with and responsive. For an extended stay, I think this is the perfect home and would stay again.

Bathroom cleaning could be better, before our arrival. The toilet was not well cleaned.

Love the decor, space and location, in one of Berlin’s prettiest streets. Feels like a home away from home, with space for four people to spread out and settle in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again.

The apartment is beautiful, great design and the location is amazing. The block is paved with great cafes and restaurants. There is a tram station close by but you can walk to many of the sights. The hosts were very helpful and nice.

If you open the window in the bedroom it can get a little noisy in the morning if you like sleeping in late. But there is a fan if you want to keep the window closed.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, and included lots of well-thought details. The balcony was a wonderful addition, and the bedrooms were quiet. The area is great with good connections to different parts of Berlin. Would love to stay here again!

It was small but compact very smartly laid out. It was close to the tram lines. In a quiet area with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. They offered free baggage storage after our checkout.

It was one of the outstanding and most original apartments we have stayed in. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything was perfect. The coffee shop/ restaurant below it was equally amazing. The location is so good. Was made to feel welcomed and we appreciated the care that was taken to make it a really wonderful break.

Everything about this property is fantastic. from the staff, communication, location, the apartment itself. I can’t really fault it The staff were very friendly and prompt at replying, while I also had the pleasure of meeting. The location was great. I’m a central area of Berlin just north of the city. the food in the area is amazing and I would highly recommended the cafe directly downstairs. Be prepared to queue if you get there after 10:00, but trust me when I say it’s totally worth it the apartment was stunning. kind of like art deco meets retro, in Berlin style. it’s beautiful, comfortable, clean and homely I would 100% stay here when I’m in Berlin. without a doubt. I love everything about this place, I just with I could live in it permanently!!!
