Almodovar Biohotel, Berlin

Location was perfect. Facilities were excellent. It was really appreciated that Olive oil was provided for cooking. Microwave was another pluc point. You could go to the Laundry room and pick up whatever was needed. We stayed for 10 days and felt quite at home. Balcony was a plus point. Supermarket lidl close by. Indian store next doors.

Everything was perfect. But due to uman interaction it was little uneasy. Also there should be some cleaning product for WC.

The studio apartment was very cozy. I appreciate the beautiful design and the kitchen! It was amazing to be able to cook for yourself. Everything was easy, checking in etc., there was coffee & tea and the bed was comfortable too. I was able to relax and cool down a bit from every day stress. There was a bit noise from the Straßenbahn outside unfortunately, but manageable(there are ear plugs).

Maybe it could be good to invest in some insulation windows at some point - but other then that this hotel is absolutely great!

Easy access by a digital key pad at check in. Very safe building and right in front of trolly stop.

We stayed for a concert in Uber Arena and the accommodation was perfectly located for that. Everything was clean, bed was big enough for two people, we got enough coffee for free. Online check in and all of the information we got was super helpful. There was also Penny and Lidl just around the corner. If I ever go to Berlin again, I'm definitely staying at Numa.

Tv did not work, whole bathroom wet after shower, no parasol, no extra blanket (also not in laundryroom). And the fire alarm that went off EVERY DAY MULTIPLE TIMES in the building

Excellent location. Many shops and highly rated resturants nearby. Tram station 1 minute away from the apartments. Excellent AC , clean and they give so much attention for the details . Unique room designs

The area is moderately noisy. Might be problematic for light sleepers ( although they provided ear plugs in the room but I felt they weren't enough). I advise to put a stronger sound isolation windows

It’s got quite a modern look and feel, with groceries/liquor stores around. The bed is super comfy!

The layout we got was a little inconvenient. The stair case reduces the space a lot.

Room is great and has everything you need. Also balcony has a nice view and evrrything is there, train station is also like 10min walk which is great. For nice vacation in Berlin I 100% recommend!

Maybe breakfast can be better and have more options but still its not bad, it was ok.

Well located hotel, clean and comfortable room, as well as the bathroom.

The entrance to the hotel is a bit unusual, giving the impression of entering a dormitory or social housing. The automatic locker at the entrance wasn't always reliable, and I had issues twice when trying to enter the building. On both occasions, I was unsure if I would be able to get in. When I called for assistance, no one picked up, which was quite concerning as I didn't want to risk spending the night on the street due to the lock malfunction.

We especially enjoyed our cozy room and our sunny balcony! (We had the biggest room at the 5th floor) Really convenient location and lovely stay - we didn't miss anything.

The location is right on a super busy main road. Opening windows without an incredibly loud noise background is impossible.

There was no staff, some people might like it but Im old fashioned and it felt a little cold tonhave no staff. I hadnt noticed it was non staff facility

A kind of cute tiny nest in the middle of Berlin, a shop across the street, many restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, many public transportation connections. Enough space, big bathroom, all necessary equipment was there.

The bed was very good. Automatic check-in and checkout worked well. The room was spacious.

The shower wasn't installed or designed by people who would want to take a shower themselves. You would need to sit in the bathtub holding it in one hand to avoid flooding the bathroom.

The location is good, the tram is right outside. Beds were unbelievably comfortable. Whenever I asked for something from the numa team they responded quickly and I was able to get everything I needed.

It was hot while we were there and there was construction going on right outside so if you opened the door it was extremely loud. Nothing that numa could do about that so it's not a negative thing towards the accommodation itself. We weren't there much during the day anyway.

The room was nicely decorated, everything needed was there - coffee machine, glasses etc - The bed and pillows were amazingly soft. The location was ok, you need to walk a little to get to big stations.

If you are used to a 5 star hotel cleaning it may bother you.

Modern apartment. Every morning breakfast ( sandwich and etc) was outside the door. Coffee and tea available in the room. Bus and tram stop near the house.

Shoehorn missing. Based on the policy of apartments, cleaning once a week. But you need at least a broom to clean the floor in the room yourself. The trash cans were full.

The rooms were very comfortable. The bath-shower-shampoo-conditioner, excellent and in big quantity! Bravo for the coffee and tea offerings! The kitchen area is a big advantage!

There was a lot of noise from the street. This is a lively area in Berlin, so maybe the window glass needs to be more soundproof. I wouldn't reccomment it to people who want to spend a peaceful time. In the platform discription it stated that there were no parties alowed. However, there were young people partying all night long. We were waken up at 6.30 in the morning by the fire alarm because the people partying were smoking and playing with the fire extinquisher that went off! The property needs to do something to ensure that this doesn't happen again! Moreover, there should be airconditioning in the rooms! Too hot!

The place was very close to the train/metro stations, and it was very easy to get to the apartment. Also, the building is located in a very centrical area, just meters away from stores and restaurants. I'll definitely book it again whenever I come back to Berlin.

The floor was quite dirty/dusty, it took me around 20 minutes to broom it over. It would have been very handy if a pair of flip flops was included, but apart from that, everything else was fine.

Clean design, modern rooms, all digital. The location is perfect for everyone who wants to explore the buzzling Friedrichshain and the surrounding area.

The room was a little dirty, the hallway smelled and the windows are not soundproof at all. You need to sleep with earplugs in order to have some rest.

The area is full of nice cafes and restaurants and not far from the center! Accessing the room with a code is pretty convenient. The bed was comfortable:)

The floor was already pretty dusty and we had no cleaning or towels exchange for 5 days (just vacuum at least). The bathroom door did not close properly and the shower was leaking from the side (so always a lake after a shower).

A clean, nicely furnished and equipped room. Shower was lovely and extra touches with coffee machine was lovely. Staff were helpful when I forgot code to get into building. However this was only possible via another guests patience in contacting. Without this o would’ve slept outside!!

Mezzanine is clever but precarious design. Hit my head on a corner and was sober!! Linking TV to phone in order to’cast’ was a no go. Staff didn’t come back to me in good time to fix.

The style and design is high class! Balcony with the nice view. High quality mattress. Clean

In the hallway the door to the right has a sign of the elevator, but the elevator inside doesn't work. There is another elevator near the stairs which works, but you won't know it straight away. It was very stressful as my baby was desperate to entry. Make the signs correctly please. Also all pillows were too big, it could be a few smaller ones

The accommodation was very good, but the lighting was very dim and needed better lighting.

The room arrangement was great. Need to climb a bit but I loved it. Great shower. Lots of free coffee.

Check-in with a person would have been preferred but it all worked great.

The no-fuss check-in process was amazing! It was close to a train station and all the great pubs, restaurants, and cafes. They also have a yoga mat to borrow which my partner really appreciated.

The room was smaller than in the photos. The kitchenette and desk area had some essentials but felt lacking for 2 people. Wouldn't recommend staying for longer as there are no laundry facilities.

Early check out without any financial commercial customer gesture, although I plan coming often. Pretty disappointed

I wish they had some recycling in the hotel. All i found in the garbage room was huge pile of all the trash in the same pile. If this hotel has Any green labels it is only greenwash :-) otherwise really cool place. Hotel without Any stuff basically. You just use your private code to get into your room. Works fine!

The noise from the road really affected my sleep. They were nice enough to provide earbuds but it didn’t really help

Great location, we liked it most from all the Numa stays we tried in Berlin. Comfortable bed.

Little dusty inside and some spots on the walls from something splashing. The door downstairs that lead to the yard, doesn't open from outside with the code, got stuck there while having a cigarette, same happened for several other people, some sign on the door would help :)

- Every question you ask on Whatsapp is followed by a request to rate the interaction - this felt aggressive. A huge amount of e-mails prior to checking in - this also felt aggressive. There is limited signage in the building and it's hard to just find your way out. It seemed creepy that there was zero staff around and every question you had needed to go past an automated response system on Whatsapp in general.

Room and bathroom were modern, clean, spacious and had all we needed . Appreciated the Tea/Coffee provision. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Very quiet inside the hotel. Good location near Ostkreuz railway station which has a direct link with the airport.

We were unable to get the room safe to work. We could not work out how to order breakfast.

Really enjoyable stay and experience at Numa Boxer. Firstly, there was a lot of thought put into the customer service of each studio / apartment, from drinks in the fridge, to coffee and tea, to little chocolates - the little things make such a difference. The apartments themselves were modern, clean, well presented and great to stay in. The beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed in one of our rooms (which can be rare). The check in was super easy, online with no hassle and we didn’t have any issues getting into the building or our apartments which were accessed via a code. There was always a friendly security sat in the entrance of the aparthotel which made it feel very safe. Location was perfect, transport is very well developed in Berlin so we had no issues of getting around the city, visiting lots of different areas - none of which were far from numa boxer. It was also really handy to have on site luggage storage to store our bags / suitcase whilst we explored on our last day. If we ever visited Berlin again, we’d definitely stay at numa boxer - it was one of the most affordable stays for our time yet we think the standard was much better than most we’d seen!

Very very minor points would be that if you have neighbours above you, you can hear their footsteps but this is no fault of the aparthotel. I also think it could be worth adding in a screen in the bath tub overhead shower as water can splash out onto the floor.

Clean and nice looking room, very spacious and pretty quiet. A lot of things are thought through. WhatsApp automations worked fine. Overall a good idea to digitalize things, but it also has its limits.

I didn't know that I needed to choose my breakfast much earlier, luckily the automated choice was ok. However, the menu is very limited and too expensive for what you get. As they put it quite early in front of the door you will be eating warm yoghurt and a melted not so fresh Brie in a dry bread. I preferred to go to a bakery close by instead. The shower water in my room had a funny smell, not very appealing. Check-in was a bit annoying when trying to take a picture of your ID. Never worked for me or my colleagues. Uploading then somehow worked at some stage.

Cleaners came in before 11, I said that check out is at 11 and that I still needed a few minutes (I repeat, it wasn't 11 yet), they were a bit weird about it at first it seemed but then understood. I didn't like them coming in before 11..

The WIFI was really bad. I couldn't use it for work. I complained about it but it wasn't fixed. Also the tv's cast never worked.

The main problem was the internet. The rest was great!

The accommodation is less than 10 minutes walk from the main train station, easy to get to the city center or to the airport. The building is in a quiet side street, shops are few minutes away and plenty of restaurants and bars as well. My room was very new and clean, comfy bed, heating and good wifi. The check in was super easy, got the check in codes on the day of arrival. There is no reception but they are available on whatsapp all the time.

I've got an email one day before arrival saying the wifi strength is bad in the building. I made me very worried, since I had to work during my stay. I reached out the customer service and they said, it has improved in the last few days, I don't have to worry. And indeed, the wifi worked perfectly fine.
