Villa Hotel, Bangkok

Everything! The hotel was exactly what we needed while staying in Bangkok - a little oasis of calm with excellent service to boot.

The only things we would change is more light in the bathroom (too dark to see in the mirror properly) and we thought that the luggage lockers were quite ugly & detract from the magical atmosphere around the pool. Perhaps there could be a wall/door there to keep them hidden from view?

Breakfast not included but could be ordered. Very nice. Very chill and quiet place within walking distance of Koh San Road.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Bangkok, the room was comfortable and staff were helpful. We enjoyed using the pool, the good coffee and location.

The pool and outdoor eating area needs to be sprayed regularly for mosquitos as there are many in the early morning and late afternoon. I would also suggest getting more pool towels as there seemed to be a shortage.

Great they allowed my mom and sister to use our room to get ready for the 2am flight. Lovely pool and luggage storage with nice laundry facilities. The aircon was making our floor wet BUT they gave us extra towels and apologized many times for it. They did fix it when we checked out. We waited by the pool for our flight and clean towels and a pool shower was offered to us to get ready for the flights

The double room needed a little extra... there was only one bedside light and table. The bed was hard with 2 small pillows. The lighting was really dim at night. The sink was leaking.

Good location if you are first time visiting Bangkok, it’s in the old part of city. The place also has a pool that everyone likes

No soundproofing, smaller room thank I thought

We were only staying one night but would have loved to have stayed longer! The room was clean and comfortable and the pool and pool area was great for relaxing in. The food in the restaurant was very tasty. The location is good for easily walking to the Koh San road area but far enough away that it is a nice quiet spot. There are some nice eateries along the canal behind the hotel.

Pool needs to be cleaned regularly

My hotel room was clean, comfortable, and I liked the view to the pool. The reception area was air-conditioned, which was a welcome reprieve from the hot city streets. I ate pad Thai from the hotel restaurant, which was very good, and had a latte or a cool beverage every day. Staff was very nice.

There wasn’t anything I did not like about my 3 night stay.

Everything about this hotel was efficient and easy. The staff are all lovely, the pool is gorgeous, they have washing machines and dryers you can use, and lockers for leaving luggage after/before checking in/out. And the location is perfect for walking around and exploring Bangkok.

The hotel was so lovely! Rooms were big, clean and had good facilities. Beds comfy, decent working shower and really good toiletries in the bathroom and replaced daily. The location was fab, close by too KSR and surrounding areas. Also good walking distance to temples, palace and Chinatown. Finally the pool was the perfect addition and needed after a hot day of sight seeing

Not much, only the lighting in my room and bathroom was quite dark and very little natural light. Also the food was quite expensive at the restaurant compared to local restaurants.

I loved the swimming pool and the location (central but quiet). The room was really big, comfy and clean !

There was a leak under the sink and wasn´t cleaned in 2 days so I had water in the middle of the bathroom. Some of the staff were not really helpul and lacked initiative, were not bothered really. I arrived early and I knew I couldn´t get to the room but they wouldn't offer me to leave my luggage for exemple (I had to ask and then take my things to the kitchen area), I could use the swimming area (which was nice) but didn´t show me where or give me a towel (had to ask again)... When I came back for the check-in time my room was still being cleaned...

Very clean and a nice lounge area with a very nice swimming pool!

The courtyard is beautiful and lush. It was very quiet and patrons respectful. It was in an excellent location for walking along canal and exploring. The pool is a wonderful addition to the stay and we spent lots of our time there and really enjoyed ourselves. Staff were responsive to our needs.

Pillows and mattress were quite firm but that s personal preference.

Location was perfect, you can Walk to Khao San Road in 10 minutes. Very friendly staff and it was possible to leave the luggage and go to the pool after checkout.

Quite loud as you share a wall with other rooms but the other neighbours were respectful and quiet but I guess could be an issue if there were loud neighbours!

Very nice hotel on great location and with lovely swimming pool. We had twice the pancakes for breakfast which were really nice. The garden is very quiet which is nice after a busy day in Bangkok.

The airconditioning was really loud and not well maintained. Due to a leakage we had to move rooms in the middle of the night, but staff was very helpful about it.

This is our family trip for 6 days in Bangkok, Thailand. We chose this hotel as our 1st hotel to stay for 2 nights. It didn't let us down. We were surprised of its cozy environment and perfect room-size. Besides, the swimming pool, the antique decorations, the palm trees etc all let us feel really comfortable and relaxing. Outside the hotel, there are many streel venders and 7-11 so we can get sth to eat or drink anytime. The location is also perfect that it is closer to Khao San Road. Overall, we had a great time there.

Pretty good location, and having a pool was a must as it is 30 degrees days and night Loved the air conditioning in the room too..The staff was super friendly and there was food in the restaurant if you were hungry. Would stay again without hesitation.

There could be a bit more lightning in the rooms.

It's really a perfect stay in Bangkok. Out of the hassle of Khao san (5min) away. Near a canal. Really super friendly staff. Price quality unbeatable. It really looks like the pics. Oh yes, the pool is supa. :)

awesome place. very quiet, greate design, nice green square with a pool, friendly staff, everything was neat and clean. also, great location: walking distance from Khaosan road, but very quiet place. there's a 7/11 just next to hotel. this place really differs from all 'a hotel'-s from all around the Bangkok. this one is my favourite now.
