Amazing hotel in perfect location. The staff was very helpful and the pool was much better in real life than photos.

The location is amazing, so close to everything and still very quiet. The hotel is beautiful and has a very nice swimming pool area. The room was perfect for us.

The pillows provided (2) were not so comfortable. New and extra pillows would be appreciated.

The receptionists are warm and charming, they really try to help and assist. The room is clean and the shower room is large. Value for money in relation to the price of the room. The street is relatively quiet and it's only 5 minutes to the famous Khawasan street. Pleasant and not powerful air conditioning - just ask reception for an extra key to the electrical box.

The response time by emails is very slow and with a big delay of several days. Lack of niceness in correspondence - unequivocal answers without compromise. A proverb that repeats itself from time to time - "If you don't want to stay, you can cancel without cancellation fees" means if you go. we do not mind. There is no sign on the tables in the dining area where you have to order at the hotel reception (you can wait for the waiter for even half an hour). At the entrance to the hotel there is a work station of the maintenance with boxes and tools throughout the 4 days of stay - not pleasant as a greeter at the entrance lobby. Housekeeping - on one of the occasions they didn't change my sheet for a blanket, they just left it on the floor and arranged the blanket on the bed without a duvet. In addition, hang a dirty towel for reuse.

Villa Bangkok is well located in the heart of Old Bangkok. The courtyard is spacious with ample place to relax under the trees. It also has a lovely swimming pool.

The rooms are okay, but the one we were in could do with a bit of a spruce up and perhaps a new air conditioner.

I loved everything about this small hotel - it’s a peaceful oasis tucked away in a quiet location but walkable to the royal palace and riverside sights. The staff are friendly and helpful - and the rooms were clean and comfortable. And the small pool and outside seating area is very welcome after a long day of walking.

What a wonderful paradise this is in the hustle and bustle of hysterical Bangkok. The pool is lovely, the food is great and the service and friendliness of the staff is fantastic. It's the little things that you notice that everything is taken into account: free towels for the pool every day, you can store your belongings to take with you later, vegan breakfast yoghurts at the reception and your room is cleaned every day. I was even able to get a free upgrade to another, quieter room. I ended up staying in the room where I was already staying, because it had the least noise from road traffic. I felt very welcome.

There is sound isolation and you can therefore hear everything from the hallway. Even though I had a room overlooking the garden and pool (so I wasn't bothered by the traffic), I did hear the noise from the hallway or the air conditioning at night and a heavy hum from the elevator (I think). I'm a light sleeper, so this won't bother everyone.

The shower was truly amazing! Rooms were clean and the pool area was a great place to hang back for a bit after a busy day in Bangkok. The room was located next to the river which was peaceful. The staff was very friendly

Lovely, tranquil hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok but only a ten minute walk to lively bars etc. Rooms were very clean and mini bar was re-stocked every day. Staff were lovely, always smiling and would help with anything. Food menu was varied and very nice at reasonable prices Outside pool and seating area was beautiful and again very clean. Would definitely return

Our room wasn’t cleaned but think that may have been an error that it was missed. Rooms are quite dark.

A really lovely space to escape the heat and hustle of Bangkok. The balcony room was great with plenty of space and the staff were super friendly.

The hotel is a little far from a metro station but is only a short walk from many attractions and has lots of cages and bars nearby.

Comfortable compact rooms with hot showers, friendly staff and a good menu. Small clean pool. Plenty of pool chairs and towels supplied. Good location to other restaurants along the canal.

Maybe an extra shelf in the bathroom? Apart from hat everything was good.

Amazing oasis in the centre of Bangkok. The pool area is gorgeous, the staff are all very friendly and helpful and the food served here was delicious and actually looked like the pictures on the menu

It was such a nice and quitte hotel in the big city of Bangkok! I felt really at home and would love to come back here. It is clean, comfortable bed and great shower! Swimming pool is perfect to dip in after a long and warm dat in the city.

It was a bit expensive if you compare it to other (luxurious) hotels. The rooms are not that big. But overall still super happy.

Location, comfy clean room, great staff, allowed us to use shower and pool area after we had checked out (night flight). Room with garden view is best.

The property location is just perfect, silent and quite street close to busier areas. So easy to move everywhere from there. Pool and garden are just perfect especially with the heat of BKK. Authentic design of the building which we loved! Staff is so kind, they all speak great English and are really welcoming. Bar provide great food and delicious cappuccino.

Staff couldn't be more helpful and make a great breakfast to. The location is perfect for the very famous khao san road.

We had a great stay! The location is great and in just a few minutes you are on Kaoh San Road and in the middle of the action. The staff were all super friendly and the pool is of course a highlight!

Despite the clogged sink, I would definitely recommend it!

Absolute perfection.. this is a small boutique hotel that retains all the style of a typical Thai residence. Rooms are clean and comfortable and stylishly furnished. The pool areas is simply perfection and the perfect place to relax. Location is about 1 minute from the chaos of Khao San Road (but you'd never know) and the staff are super friendly and efficient. I don't often write reviews about big corporate style hotels (as they don't need it) This on the other hand is a fabulous unique boutique residence that should be experienced.

The hotel looks stunning. Like an oasis in the middle of the city. The pool is wonderful, the food at the hotel is quite nice, and the drinks are amazing! (best thai tea!) Room was beautiful, and staff were very kind.

In the evenings, the area around the pool had quite a few cockroaches crawling there. But I understand that’s normal here. None in the room though!

The pool was perfect for a break to avoid the heat and sun around noon. We really enjoyed having the small garden and pool but being located in the city center.

Our room was just over the pool, so everyone could easily see throgh our whole room. So we had to close the curtains all day. There weren't many lights and no big lamp, so it was extremely dark.

Some other people in next rooms were very noisy (disrespectful to be honest aka Russian) before and after going to party and unfortunately we heard a lot due to bad sound insulation
