Villa Hotel, Bangkok

The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. It was very clean, comfortable, incredible value for money. Great location.

We were initially disappointed when we checked into our room at Villa Bangkok after a long day of travel. We had stayed at Villa the year before and we were looking forward to enjoying a beer in the calm atmosphere of the pool and getting to our elegantly designed room after a hectic day’s travelling. A room was assigned and we made our way expectantly to enjoy a moment of private peace; it was with a shock of disappointment to enter a room that was little more than a box with basic amenities designed as an afterthought. The feeling of confinement was shared by both of us and we hurried to the serenity and calm of the patio to consider our options. We were staying one night and we were so tired that we decided not to make a fuss but to have a quite beer by the pool and count our blessings. When I passed reception I just had to share our disappointment - the room seemed so out of character with the whole design concept of space and mood. The lady couldn’t have been nicer! She offered to move us to a different room but I said it was fine since we were tired and only staying the night. She promised, since we were coming back on the 24th, to make up for our disappointment. I went back to the pool and a few minutes later she came to our table and gave us two drinks on the house, again expressing her consolation and understanding in a very personable and professional manner. You can imagine our feelings when we arrived back at Villa some days later. We arrived two hours ahead of check-in time and were initially informed that the room was not ready, but the lady immediately corrected herself and kindly accommodated an early check-in. We were given a beautiful room with shower and bathtub; a very comfortable double bed in a very large spacious room overlooking the canal. The staff, just as on our previous visits couldn’t have been nicer or more professional - a combination that isn’t easy to achieve. Thank you once again for a promise kept.

Hotel is amazing good for relaxing also near to centrum khosan roud you can by walk only 10 minut the rooms are looks old but very clean and safe 🙌🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻 the personal is beautiful people very help full ..if you want to stay here dont thınk just buy and make safe and beautiful holıday 🩷🩷

Hotel room, good AC, comfortable shower. Very friendly and helpful receptionists. Free water every day. Great location to get to the main attractions. Comfortable swimming pool and the hotel zone.

The hotel doesn’t provide: hand towels, slippers, soap. No trash bin inside the room, just the small one in the toilet that is not very convenient. The main concern for us was the COCKROACHES IN THE EVENING IN THE YARD!!! We were so scary of them (1-2 every evening came to us) that it wasn’t possible to relax near the pool in the evening. Seems like they live somewhere near the hotel and ran inside where the people are in the evening ;//

The gargen is fantastic.

This is third time we stayed here. The room price fluctuated upon season. This time we had problem with hot water, sometimes we had but sometimes we couldn't. Room was cozy but noisy with room neighbor (after 10 p.m.)

The only downside (but hey we are in bkk) is that it’s a little noisy sleeping in a room facing the street + the walls are not very soundproof

Perfect location for a few days in Bangkok. Close to the Grand Palace. Spacious room with a nice balcony. The pool area is lovely.

The atmosphere was very special and you could relax very good after a loud city day!! The villa Bangkok is a very great place and I can recommend for you all!!

The location was good, near historical’places but in a quiet area.Staff was friendly and helpful and the swimming pool patio great to relax.

We arrived late at night and were accommodated! Very central, short walk to khoa san road. Very nice pool.

Floor didn’t seem to be brushed, dust/dirt but this really didint effect our stay everything else was perfect

Lovely place to stay. Our room was large with a balcony over the canal and an entrance that felt quite private. The bathroom and room itself also enjoyed natural light with floor to ceiling windows over a private space, ensuring complete privacy. A large TV and a mini fridge was a bonus . Fans and aircon made the room extremely comfortable. Another bonus was a bath, which was a treat, although not used. The pool was beautiful. The restaurant was all day breakfast. It was great

Beautiful hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful and they have front of house 24/7 which is perfect! Pool area is really nice. Room has everything you need and is spacious. Aircon worked perfectly and felt relaxed staying here.

The property is lovely and the pool area is definitely a highlight. There’s a cute cat walking around, making the terrace even cuter 😊

We selected this hotel because of the nice courtyard and pool which were indeed super Nice! Room was comfortable and stylish, great shower. Location is great, within 30 mins you can walk to the big temples. Quiet street. Great coffee and roofed porch so you can wait out any rain

Doors are super noisy so closing them by neighbours can be bothersome at night.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of multiple temples, and vibrant nightlife. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help.

Location was amazing, pool was nice and hotel provided clean towels to use for swimming etc. Staff was very welcoming and kind. The food in the restaurant was okay and price a bit high, but with the coupons doable. Room was clean, comfortable.

Beds were hard, which is common in Thailand. I don’t mind a hard mattress but had some sore spots after.

It is a little bit far from every subway station So be prepared to walk or to take a cab if you wanna go around the city. There’s a little Neighbourhood really nice nearby east side

- The hotel is a bit far from the lively areas of the city. Every night when I want to come back to the hotel, it takes me at least 45mins with public transportation. Maybe it’s close to some attractions that can be seen in a day or so. But definitely wasn’t close enough for me. - Taking a shower makes the whole bathroom’s floor wet. - Really late at night, insects would be running around the pool area, but that’s understandable because of the nature and the weather, so not a problem. But still, a great place to stay in.

We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Bangkok. The staff were welcoming from the first step towards reception. It was an oasis of calm in a city which can overpower you with noise and smells. The double room with its balcony overlooking the pool allowed you to take in the lush green foliage reaching up from the courtyard and also to look up to the bright blue sky. The air conditioning did its job inside and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. We can highly recommend the breakfast including some great smoothies. And with a 7Eleven on the corner just up the road you’re all set for a great stay. We found some good stalls nearby for shopping and it was simple to reach the sights by walking or tuk tuk.

The only minor blemish was the water in a powerful shower leaked under the door into the rest of the bathroom so the bath mat was thoroughly wet. You can obviously moderate the power of the shower and the amount of water you use but a bracing shower is the perfect way to unwind after a long hot steamy days taking in such a vibrant city.

Absolutely loved this spot! Thrilled with this find. Front desk staff were amazing and helpful. Rooms super cute and the family room was perfect. Walked to ko sahn easily with kids and pool was beautiful.

When we did leave the hotel (check out) they did allow to keep the luggage and... even better... to use the swimming pool after the check out. It did really help as our flight was at night. Great service.

Everything was best value for money. Super comfortable bed and really quiet but in a super great location. Can’t fault this place and will go back for sure. Thank you to all the team as everyone was super helpful and friendly

Incredible value for services offered, pool, AC, restaurant, friendly reception

The location is perfect and as described in Manu other reviews, it’s a little sanctuary amongst the Bangkok chaos. The pool is perfection, with plenty of lounges amongst the stunning gardens.

The rooms were clean, but pretty basic. The beds were firm, which I didn’t mind, but my partner prefers a soft bed. There were no face washers provided and only one set of pillows (one each)

Short walk to bars and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Large and quiet room.
