Hotel Lancaster, Bangkok

The hotel’s location is perfect, with the Airport Rail Link, MRT and BTS all close by, making it very easy to get around Bangkok. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are genuinely friendly and quickly get to know you by name.
It is definitely worth upgrading to a Lancaster Club room to enjoy extra benefits such as a two-hour free drinks period and complimentary laundry. The team on the 18th floor, where the Lancaster Club is based, were excellent and very thoughtful throughout our stay.
We visited during my birthday week and the whole team made it feel truly special, with a birthday cake and a beautifully decorated room. This was our second stay at Lancaster Bangkok, and we will definitely be returning again in the future.

Hospitality is excellent, the service at the property is also excellent. The suite was superb. I had many requests prior to make it special and they went above and beyond for me.

In some areas feels a little dated

Staff is excellent, Sam was great at checkin, the Club was outstanding and tge doormen/bellman were all very kind.
The room was clean and had a great view.

I moved to Lancaster Bangkok for about a week (Dec 7–16) to stay closer to a colleague. The hotel feels luxurious — maybe even a bit too fancy, but service, restaurant quality, and staff politeness were all exactly what you expect from a high-end place. Getting to Sukhumvit and Terminal 21 is easy enough — about 15–20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by bike.

The location became a real problem because of heavy traffic. If you need to commute by taxi — especially towards Nawamin — prepare for long rides. Morning and evening trips regularly took 40–60 minutes, which made daily work life uncomfortable. Because of this, I didn’t even use the hotel properly — skipped breakfasts, skipped my usual morning pool routine, and had to wake up earlier than normal just to make it to the office by 9.

The breakfast was outstanding, as were the hotel itself, the staff, the facilities and the room.

There was nothing that did not exceed my expectations.

The room was spacious and quiet, bed very comfortable, staff extremely kind and helpful. The pool was excellent and the sauna and steam room a great bonus. The breakfast excellent, fresh and varied, and very good coffee!

I was disappointed with the club; the range of food buffet was very limited there, whereas one would expect a very wider variety.

I stay at the Lancaster fairly frequently and the reason I come back is the people that work there. This time it was the warm welcome from Sam when I was checking in. Very professional and friendly.
Plus the breakfast is great, the Club is a nice option and the rooms are nice too!

The property is in a great position, very handy to the metro and great for taxi pickup. The hotel manager Martin Hurley is very attentive and has excellent customer service skills.
We needed some advice and he literally went above and beyond to the help us. We booked the hotel again at the end of the holiday as we loved it so much. The room sizes are very generous and had excellent decor.

Hotel was amazing and a short ride from Bangkok hospital. Breakfast was good. Immaculately clean. Staff friendly.

Very very nice hotel around a ten minute walk from makkasan station.
All staff were exceptional as was the room and facilities.
So nice to go back to a decent hotel after a day in the heat and noise of Bangkok.
Would recommend.

Nothing at all

The reception staff were unhelpful. I stayed for 10 days, and they wouldn't even let me check out until 2 PM. I've never experienced such treatment in any of the hotels I've stayed in.

The staff, the rooms, the breakfast, the bar, the gym was amazing it had more than enough and was way more equipped than most hotels in Thailand. every other hotel I stayed at I was disappointed in comparison.

The only downside was the bar
closes too early as I wanted to socialize in my hotel that wasn’t a thing.

The staff was super friendly notably in the lancaster lounge

The gym, spa and sauna was awesome.
The concierge was helpful.
Was able to store our bags and use the facilities to have a shower.

Lancaster hotel was beautiful. The pictures online doesn’t do it justice.
We would have liked a larger hot tub, since it only seats 4 people. And the pool was too cold for my kids.

I can’t complain too much, Lancaster was beautiful.
However, in the bathroom I took a picture of the AC and there was mold. They could have done better to clean it.

Staffs were lovely. Easy checkin. We were upgraded to the suite.

Lovely old school kind of 5 star hotel. The service was outstanding, the staff were amazing and the facilities were great.

Nothing much to dislike, my only comment would be for any smokers, the smoking facilities didn’t fit the 5 star standard.

We love how close the walk is to the train lines.
Staffs are very pleasant.

We love the design of the room and structure of the room. Kids and adults - we love our space with a common living area for some chats and some fun.
Toilet and shower space is very comfortable.

Temperature of the shower is inconsistent.
Cold and hot water switches every now and then causing concerns for shower, especially for my young kids.

Room size and bathroom size was great.

A little dated room. Lights in bathroom a little bright especially as it shone through to the main room. Could have had a dim light for the night if anyone needed to go
