The hotel seemed quite empty apart from breakfast time

Room was very comfortable with excellent amenities. Location fit our needs. Staff were the nicest we had in Thailand. They really made us feel at home.

We loved our stay at Sukhothai! It was an ending of our holiday in Thailand, booked 4 nights at Club King room and everything was perfect. The room was spacious, so was the bathroom. During hot afternoons, you want to spend your time by the swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Definitely will book again!

The rooms are very comfortably appointed. The breakfast buffet is our favourite hotel breakfast buffet in the world with a fantastic selection of local and international breakfast options.

So peaceful, immediately relaxing, and incredibly helpful and kind staff. Location is great, it really is right in the middle of the city, walking distance if you’re up for it, and just a few stops by subway. But even being so close, and the banyan is literally a block down, it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet. There’s no way you won’t get rest here. And the staff is so friendly! My husband and i came for an anniversary and he loved the garden. I loved the spa (ali is great by the way if you want a massage). Everything was more than i expected. We came during the Christmas holiday and they even gave all the guests little Christmas stockings with small gifts inside. A great holiday touch! The only thing was i didn’t realize my deposit wasn’t already paid (dumb i know), and so i wasn’t prepared for that. Otherwise, it was everything and more than i expected. Will love to come again. Room was very spacious for two adults, the bathtub is huge, and plenty of amenities. Love love love the sukhothai.

The style of sukothai is unique - classic, elegant, perfect. Our room 149 was probably the most comfortable & perfect room we ever stayed in. High ceiling, large spaces, great lighting . The bed & pillows & sheets were heaven. Retractable and swingable large TV. The bathroom was simply personal luxury. 2 balconies overlooking the lotus pond. The breakfast is very opulent and caters for all tastes - lovely setting and music too. Very attentive service and great conscierge Mr Som. We will be back!

Fantastic oasis in the middle of Bangkok. Highly professional and friendly service from all the staff. Breakfast was first class and pool / gym facilities excellent. Will definitely return when next in the city!

This is truly an exceptional hotel. The staff were superlative and already ready to help. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was so varied, one of the best we have seen. The pool was lovely and warm and large. We enjoyed everything about our stay here. It is an oasis in the heart of Bangkok.

There did not seem to be a great variety of lower priced food options in the close vicinity so would potentially need a taxi into town for this.

Thought La Scala wasn’t as good as it’s been in the past. A French chef overseeing an Italian restaurant although the bread was good. Didn’t like the club lounge, cold and soulless and nibbles could have been better.

The room was lovely with an extremely comfortable bed. The view was also wonderful looking at the main courtyard of water lillies.

More outdoor seating area to sit in the evening.

I try to stay at the Sukhothai anytime I'm in Bangkok. it's a bit of a quiet oasis in the middle of city. Food is good. Love the pool. The Club rooms and the lounge are excellent including the evenings drinks and generous buffet of very tasty appetizers.

Everything was perfect: 1) breakfast was probably one of the best ever with a huge variety of food options, 2) we got an upgrade to suites on the 3 rooms booked, which was very welcome and enjoyed it a lot, the suites were very spacious, very comfortable and had excelent amenities, welcome drink/fruit basket also a nice plus, 3) common hotel areas also very nice and comfortable, excelent gym and pool facilities, 4) excelent quality of service, very pleasant and efficient staff, always attentive to any need you may have, 5) the Sukothai is a beautiful, pleasant zen-like island in the middle of the surrounding skyscraper neighbourhood

The breakfast was one of the best that we have ever experienced. The gym is perfect and exceed every expectations! The staff is very polite and helpfull in every situation. Everything in the room works perfectly. I totally recomend this hotel for sure!

Oasis in the middle of Bangkok

Great pool for doing lengths. 25m x 15m. Beautiful minimalist design. Super clean. Spacious pool area. Far better than other pools here (such as Mandarin Oriental).

Would have preferred a 5 minute rather than a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro. But all other positive point far outweigh the one negative.

Nice for people who are just relaxing and want to disconnect themselves from busy lifestyle in bangkok, but not for more than one night

Beautiful green spot right in the center of bangkok. Amazing staff with simple incredible customers service. Great gym, great pool very food buffet breakfast nice big rooms with nice shower. I like the wood tropical feeling of the room.
