Very charming and a location you cannot beat

Was being renovated during my stay but still very nice

The hotel was very shabby but our room was okay. The bed was comfortable but lacked a good blanket.We discovered a cockroach in the bathroom.

Location is great

Location is also in prime tourist area so very noisy. The facility was dirty, especially the rugs. The bedding was very uncomfortable. The walls, paper thin so you can hear neighbors above and beside you and whatever is happening in the hallway. Staff was luke warm at best. No friendly welcome, I felt like I was intruding. When we felt like we might need more blankets, the front desk told me I had to come get it, that there was nobody else there to help. There are so many other places to stay in the area, I would never consider staying here again. If traveling with a lot of luggage, know that they hallways have different levels so you might be going up and down stairs, depending on where you left room is located.

The location is right at the center of Fells Point. Friendly staff. Free breakfast.

Building is old and you can hear steps and conversations anytime someone passes your door.

The noise from the street at night was unbearably loud until around 2 am. When we asked to switch rooms so we weren’t right across from the admiral cup bar, we were met with sass and condescending remarks as if we should’ve known how loud it would be in this area. I was happy to be in a good area, but I didn’t expect that the walls and windows had zero insulation! Also there is no daily housekeeping.

Nice location and a historic property

We arrived to check in and no one was at the hotel desk. After 10 minutes someone came and gave us a room with no working lights. Then we were given a room with no working electricity. Finally we got a room with most of the lights working but with dirty sheets. And then Wi-Fi worked the first night but didn’t the last two days. We queried this and were told—-well, someone called the manager (who never seemed to be at the hotel). Our room and hallway had holes in the carpets and towels, and the hotel breakfast was very basic indeed. Our room was horrifically over priced, and in bad need of renovation.

The room itself was adequate and the continental breakfast was fine.

The common areas were very run down.

The room was tiny & no refrigerator for our medications. We didn't stay & still waiting for a credit to my account.

No valet parking, someone vomited outside our room door Friday night and was still there on Sunday when we left. Breakfast was canceled Sunday morning because the person didn’t show up

The location was absolutely amazing, and the lady at the front desk had a really great personality.

The mattress in the room left a little bit to be desired, they're also going through renovations so you can tell that they are making updates to the rooms.

Staff at desk was particularly unhelpful in calling a cab, letting me in front door when I couldn’t find my key and it 20 degrees out (I was dressed in jacket and bow tie and brown cashmere overcoat, recommending or suggesting where I could find a hamburger at 10 pm.

It is in the heart of Fell Point and the hotel feels upscale and historic.

We were told there would be breakfast, but it was very lacking. It was barely a continental. It was very disappointing, especially for the price we paid.

The location was great for walking around the interesting neighborhoods. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very nice with real plates and healthy, though, limited choices (no hot food).

This is a funky hotel with small rooms, no fridge or microwave. Hallways require going up and down stairs - so luggage carts are worthless. Bathrooms are dated.

Great Location, the rooms were spacious and was nice to look over Broadway during the Halloween party!

The continental breakfast was disappointing- many of the items were not there when we came down for breakfast and were not replenished. If you are going to offer a breakfast, then do so! Otherwise, tell customers that it's first come, first serve.

The location was everything. The decor was great. Historical, informative, pleasing. The high ceilings were lovely and the amenities meet our needs.

Our particular room must have been located behind the elevator or beside a heavy machine that powers the climate system. There was a mechanical hum and vibration that exceeded white noise level. Occasionally it would cycle off and everything was perfect. But it remained quite prevalent during our time in room.

Cleaning could have been better - we found someone's socks in the corner. We had rooms at the front and the windows didn't seem to close all the way so was a little chilly but beds were warm and cosy

Well situated in the middle of Fell's Point. Close to many attractions, night life and restaurants.

With the hotel being historic and preserved, there are areas that need to be spruce up and/or repaired.

We were pictured a nice suite but they didn’t have one.

Location in great if you want to be by the harbor in the heart of Fells Point surrounded by good restaurants and bars. We had a king room which was very spacious.

While the style and history of the hotel is part of it's charm, the interior hallways and aspects of the rooms are very outdated. Bathroom has no counter space and very out of date shower/tub with pealing ceiling. If you don't want to hear loud partying at night, make sure to request a room NOT facing the Admirals Cup bar.

Location was perfect! Across the street was the harbor with beautiful views just steps away. The bars and restaurants were all in walking distance. The staff were all very friendly, except for one.

The continental breakfast consisted of stale  cereal, toast, and bagels.  It was served in the basement and the woman who was the attendant was not very polite. She kept reminding everyone not to eat in the serving area repeatedly, when a sign posted in the area would have sufficed.

The stairs to enter the building are difficult to manage with luggage and no one to offer help (ok for the young, but dangerous for my 76 year old mother carrying a dolly suitcase), and the room could have had cleaner floors and a tub faucet that didn’t leak.

The location was great. Central to everything. The continental breakfast was nice. It was quaint, and the rooms were named for famous people..with stories about them on the walls.

The place is old and in need of a little TLC. The walls were dirty in our room, the tub was old and stained, furniture old, bed squeaky. There were no bath towels in the room and when I called the front desk about it, I was told that the towels were “here at the front desk and you can come down to get them.” That was weird. But a few minutes later the front desk called to say they would be right up…i guess they were short staffed.

Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was well located in terms of being right next to the harbour and main food/drink places. Staff were friendly and helpful - they allowed us to switch rooms when we had a noise issue in our first one.

The first room we had was facing the main bars, not sound proof at all (there was even a big gap below the window so even with windows shut we could hear karaoke until 2am), so we had a real issue trying to sleep until we were able to move rooms. Property is a bit dated and could use some maintenance. Breakfast was basically non-existent - the first day my partner and I shared the last croissant, and when trying to get a slice of toast was told by a member of staff to go and sit down; needless to say we didn’t bother with the breakfast for the remaining days.

The breakfast is simple but nice. The staff who served at the breakfast is not friendly. The evening front desk lady is very nice and helpful. The location is great.

The description of the size of our is incorrect to the room that we were in. When I booked the room. It said the room is 360square feet. It is very small and probably only 160 square feet We have one morning breakfast was not available. The front desk said that we will receive credit for it. But I don’t think they give us credit when we checked out.

There was a lot of mold in the bathroom, especially in the vent that was blowing out air. Having just recovered from bronchitis, I was not thrilled to see this.

Great location as it is by the water and in the middle of Fells Point. Room was clean and breakfast was nice. Summer nights can turn into a party on the streets there, but they had security measures to keep the hotel safe and quiet such as secure front entry doors.

It is an old building and can have issues. We had a major pipe leak in our bathroom, but they were able to switch our room to remedy it.
