Excellent location for me

Room size

We booked a deluxe double room and requested a corner room which we got and that great. Was nicely decorated with sleek, modern interior and loved that we had a balcony and could let in fresh air. The room was a great size with won’t have room for two people although some toom was taken up by a broken tv. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up and we absolutely loved Izakaya restaurant downstairs.

The tv in our room didn’t work. The phone didn’t work either. We were then told to use the QR code and what’s app to contact them. So it begs the question of what’s the point of either? The tv and phone should be removed if they don’t work as they take up valuable space. The coffee machine and snack basket were on one bedside table, they could easily be moved to the tv cabinet area instead. We found that ordering room service was really slow and wished we could just make a phone call. The shower also gets water everywhere and made the bathroom slippery which is a hazard and should be fixed.

Nina was absolutely superb with helping us after we were fraudulently scammed with entrance tickets to the Anne Frank House . Our room was lovely with everything we needed and a lovely relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel.

Rooms are a bit small. No mini-fridge

No problem with the hotel… the hotel had an issue with my insence stick in the room (I use it to meditate) and the front desk told me it was prohibited because of fire hazard but I never left the flame burning i always use water to douse the stick before leaving but just so you know… also (and this has NOTHING to do with the hotel but with BOOKING) please be advised that offers can change on a “booking whim”.. I purchased the hotel because it included a to and from taxi service to the airport (free shuttle service if reservation was higher than 400€ and no more than 3 passengers ) and after the purchase this shuttle service was denied because my reservation was above 800€ and we were 2 passengers…. We contacted booking and we are still waiting on a response….

Requested quiet double room and offerred noisy room above bar. Was offered different room wth single beds. They had 3 months notice but as we were a late check in we just got the dross that was left. Do better as you charge the earth for a room!

The room was a bit dirty and we got 1st floor so wasn't ideal in terms of opening the curtains.

Enjoyed how spacious the rooms were for the price. Great bathroom. The general vibe and public area was great and unique. The bar “izakaya” attached to the hotel looked to be a great place for drinks/food at any time of the day

Very comfortable hotel that pays attention to details. I loved the small welcome message and drink, the denim like robes and amazing shower.

My room was in the ground floor with small windows towards the top and no natural light.

The location was great as it is not at the very center of the city but in the slightly less crowded and more authentic parts of Amsterdam, still in vicinity to the city centre. The stuff was also quite helpful and nice.

As it is close to the city center of the city there was not parking available, but only the paid ones. We had a QR code for discount on one of those which didn’t work and at the end paid around 100 euros for around 30 hours stay. However this is a complication only if one wants to park nearby.

Electronics facilities need to be updated ASAP! It’s 2024 and there only 2 things you can offer to your guests are TV with few English/Dutch/German channels and radio. It’s really not that difficult to connect your tv to Wi-Fi and let your guests watch what they want.

Gorgeous Boutique hotel, Our rooms were very spacious. The coffee machines were fantastic as well as the bath. Very friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful hotel in De Pijp, excellent location for foodies! Loved the holiday decorations. Excellent staff - everyone was very friendly, helpful, and smiling! The room was very comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights, the first couple of days, it was hard to leave the bed because it was so cozy. We liked the idea of having a separate shower - very practical. Very trendy Izakaya restaurant on site. We looked through a lot of hotels and air bnbs based on space, comfort, location, amenities, price, and overall rating. This is definitely a gem! Would love to come back here again. Look no further.....

Absolutely nothing. Some review somewhere stated there's no elevator, and we were mentally prepared to carry our luggages upstairs. To our surprise, Elevator was present right when you walk in and working.

The hospitality was amazing. I was greeted with a huge smile at the front desk and a glass of Prosecco. I arrived at 11am and was able to check into my room immediately. Ample towels were provided. Breakfast was amazing and so was dinner at the restaurant (Izakaya). Lastly, I called front desk for a couple glasses of Prosecco and a kind lady arrived at the door in a matter of minutes. Will definitely be coming back!

That I had to leave

Lovely building, good location and helpful staff. Bed was comfy and room had basic amenities with nice toiletries. Very good gym facilities, although be aware that the gym is in a separate building down the road.

Standard room is very small (or 'compact'). I was alone, it would be tight for two. Room was missing a few important touches for a 4* hotel like somewhere to place your luggage.

Great boutique hotel and excellent customer service. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff surprised our friend at breakfast with a sparkler in a donut and some fizz, then sent balloons up and gifts later on, very special touch.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great, quiet location with lots of cafes, restaurants , shops around. There is also a daily market down the road. You can also hire a bike from the hotel, and have access to a gym a few shops away. Walking distance to the museums

Location was great with quick access to Metro. The museums are within walking distance. The staff is really nice and helpful.

The rooms are small for the cost but that was not unusual for Europe. The cost of breakfast ($25 - $29 per person) is very high and we did not use it.

Great to experience de Pijp, close to Central, and with a cool vibe. Very comfy bed and room with lots of space. Reception staff was super nice.

Location, lovely boutique design, classy, comfortable bed and pillows, wonderful staff. Restaurant is lovely. Highly recommend it for people who value boutique hotels with character over big hotel chains.

Nice room, friendly staff. Excellent location - close to De Pijp metro station which connects to Centraal station. Flexibility with restaurant menu to take account of dietary requirements. Good breakfast selection (scrambled eggs excellent)!

If I'm going to be picky, the slightly cramped restaurant space. Nothing else to dislike really.

Staff were amazing, rooms were nicely decorated, albeit a little small. Breakfast was lovely, great selection. I got a complimentary breakfast due to having to change rooms, nice touch. TY

The lights in the first room were not working, and then the lamp in the next room did not work. A little annoying as lighting and ambience is really important to me. Nonetheless nothing to lose sleep over, and I loved my stay.

Location was good. Staff were helpful in moving us to another room as the one we were in was too noisy with the restaurant/club underneath. The bed was comfortable in the deluxe room (the second room we were placed in).

The noise of the restaurant / club underneath. The remote didn’t work and the tv was at an awkward angle. You are overlooked by residents opposite so have to keep the blinds down at all times.
