They really did try to put us close together but we booked at the last minute ! Wonderful place to stay ! Highly recommended!

Fantastic location with great canal views. Very polite people- with warm and welcoming approach-anytime, great breakfast with many options. Spacious rooms, excellent mattress and pillows! Highly recommended, would love to be back!

This is an excellent hotel in a quiet section of Amsterdam near the Nine Streets area. We loved staying in this area because it has so much more character than other parts of the city which are not as quaint. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were well appointed and thoroughly clean. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. There are many local restaurants close to the hotel, but the restaurant at the Ambassade is excellent and better than most in the area. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

Our superior deluxe double room had a king bed, a dresser, 2 chairs and a small table but it was little tight.

the room was amazing. We had a room outside of the hotel so it felt as if we had an apartment right in the center of town.

Excellent hotel right on the Herengracht canal, clean, stylish, fully restored/renovated, with great staff. It doesn’t get better than this.

Location was great along outter canals.

Fabulous hotel. Beautiful decor. Original art on all the walls. The hotel bar is fabulous, books, art, board games on every table which we played nightly before dinner. Excellent staff. Special hi to Sebastian in the Library Bar. Gorgeous room overlooking the canal. One of my favourite hotels to have stayed in ever.

Location was perfect

Rumors you could hear from other rooms and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable.

The staff service was excellent. Goes beyond.

The bed were not so comfortable. There were many pillows but all top soft.

We loved everything- it was exceptional . We have never experienced service that accommodating and professional. The restaurant was excellent and the Library Bar served fantastic cocktails. The room had a beautiful view of the canal. It was the perfect way to end our trip.

The hotel was in a perfect position for wandering around Amsterdam. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and made our stay very welcoming. Our room was gorgeous and the view of the canals made it very special. Everything was clean and well maintained. Loved this hotel

Lovely boutique hotel in beautiful canal-side location. The staff was responsive and accommodating, the included breakfast was a great way to start the day, and the room was very comfortable.

Location is excellent, staff are so friendly and helpful, hotel is beautiful - especially all the amazing artworks throughout the hotel. We had dinner in the hotel one evening and the food was excellent.

We really liked the location of the Hotel. Easy to get to restaurants, sites and museum. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. Very good breakfast.

The Hotel is extremely expensive and not quite worth the cost. Our room was nice but outdated. Our bathroom lock fell off a few times.

Nothing negative. We booked a triple room thinking there would be extra room but there really wasn’t. Not sure how the room would’ve accommodated three. But it was just right for two.

Stunning hotel, lovely bar where we could play chess. Attic room was lovely, cosy and very nice. Comfy chairs and very comfy bed & pillows. Staff were amazing in that they let us access the room really early as the weather was terrible when we arrived at the hotel.

Shower heads were clogged with lime scale so waterfall shower was more like a dribble dribble shower! Just needs a good clean at it would be perfect.

We were extremely hot with the duvet… wish we just had a sheet beneath it so we could throw it off … too cool outside to keep the duvet off. We were drenched … w sweat.

I had asked for help securing dinner reservations and never heard back.

The location is perfect and the canal street the hotel sits on is charming and quiet. The staff are exceptional- friendly and very helpful. I loved the library/barroom. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The one downside to the stay is the breakfast buffet. They have scant offerings — it was disappointing.

Distance to the parking space . But the location deserves a sacrifice. So at the end it wasn’t a big problem.

It was in middle of all the places you need to go as turist by walking. The building shape and instruction was wonderfully. Stuff was perfect,friendly,full informed and so so so kind. The room was clean.

When someone was walking in the corridor our bed was making noise.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with amazing super friendly staff. Attentive staff that helped with finding good restaurants and stores and providing directions and wonderful attention to details. And the food was delicious for every meal. Loved sitting on the canal and having wine and cheese.
