We booked a room only and did not get the chance to visit the pool, but from check-in to check-out, the entire team was approachable and very attentive. Their smiles were genuine, and their service was outstanding. I may not be able to name each of them, but they were 100% active and dedicated throughout their shifts. For me, this is a 5-star hotel experience. The room was clean, and the washroom was especially well-maintained. Great job to the Housekeeping Team!

Beautiful Rooms, close to the Corniche. Friendly staaf, had a good chat with Guru at the pool. Restaurants in the hotel are good.

The hotel was very nice and clean, the restaurant also looks fancy and they had a good variety of food for breakfast. Having a 4-level parking was a great advantage compared to other hotels in Abu Dhabi. I extremely enjoyed my experience in the 27th floor pool too.

There is a lack of mirrors everywhere (elevator, corridors and rooms) and the TV makes too much noisy voices with each click of a button.

It doesn't get better than this. I highly recommend both breakfast and dinner – it’s an incredible experience, and I genuinely don’t have a single complaint.

The room furnishings were a bit dated but the room itself was spacious and the beds were SO comfortable to fall into after a long day - we had the best night's sleep! The rain shower was also great. Parking around the hotel was very limited so the basement car park was a real plus and very convenient. The hotel was in a great location and provided the perfect base for our brief visit to Abu Dhabi as we were attending an event on Yas Island and doing a bit of sightseeing the next day. Most staff encountered - valet, reception, housekeeping - were friendly.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 7pm and we had to wait about 15 minutes or so before we could receive our key - not a big deal but a bit surprising considering we arrived several hours after their standard check-in time. Unfortunately, about 10 hours after we'd checked out, we received a call from someone at the hotel claiming that we'd damaged an item of furniture in the room - this wasn't true, but obviously we had no way to prove it and it spoiled what had otherwise been a pleasant stay.

I love this hotel. It is a fantastic value in Abu Dhabi. The staff are great, the rooms are massive, the beds are comfortable, the breakfasts are outstanding, and the location is just where it needs to be at the far east end of the Corniche, near the museums. All for less than most other hotels.

The only slight negative is that the gym is only so-so. It is more than enough if you are into free weights, but there isn't much weight equipment. It's fine, just not great.

Impressive hotel with many amenities and super friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms and good beds. Plenty of fast elevators available to avoid crowding. Small Finnish and Turkish saunas available on the top floor in the changing rooms, separate for male and female guests. With the gym room, nice bar and outside relax and pool area.

The see-through or milky glass separation of the bathroom and toilet areas offers no privacy, if this is desired.

I enjoyed the property. It was close to the venues such as Ting Irie and the property where I went for a party. The area is also located near coffee shops, stores, and other restaurants. I also enjoyed the pool. It was a moderate temperature. The room was also nice. The breakfast buffet offered a little bit of everything for everyone.

The mirror fell down off of the closet door. I couldn't figure out how to use the lights in the room. Turning off one light switch turned them all off. I also thought the turkey bacon was undercooked.

We loved our stay here! The staff made our experience more special and lovelier. The room we got had an amazing views of the sea where we watched the sunset. The pool was not crowded and the facilities looked well-maintained. There was a fantastic selection of food in their menus as well but honestly, it was the staff who made our stay truly phenomenal (to name a few- Maksud and Muzaffar) Thank you, Southern Sun! We’ll definitely be back 🫶

Quite dated inside… needs a refresh and rooms could do with same. Breakfast was very expensive if adding on - best to go out local. Too much smoking in hotel - people smoking cigars by the pool/in the bar make it pretty unpleasant

I stay at this hotel all the time when I come through to Abu Dhabi on a weekend from Dubai as I find it great value for money. The room is so spacious and the hotel is welcoming and friendly. The gym is great and has everything that I needed and the restaurants that I went to were great.
