Great location. Lovely breakfast buffet. Decent live entertainment at Hytes bar even on weekday nights. The suite was well laid out and had everything you needed if you wanted to do an extended stay. The staff were especially friendly and welcoming - the front desk / reception in particular.

The bed was just ok. Not uncomfortable, but lacking that “aaaah!” hotel bed feeling. It was the deciding factor in my leaving when I did. The food at Hytes bar was just mediocre. The carpet just outside my room needed vacuuming. What appeared to be someone’s little blue pill and food crumbs were sitting at the entrance to my room

The number one hotel in abudhabi, comfort, quiet, high level room service ,very beautiful view and smooth procedure from check in till check out , the staff also very kind and professional. Actually my booking was for 3 nights and after I extended my stay. A lot thanks to Southern Sun crew for making my stay exceptional and enjoyable.

Very large room, sauna, steam room and swimming pool, good location, spaciouse parking. Lovely breakfast with good food selection. Many inexpensive options to upgrade for late departure.

Minor inconvenience of pool being not together with sauna, have to walk along corridor through the cafe.

We've been in this hotel 3 times already,Staff are very accomodating as usual,room are comfortable,facilities are good,we enjoyed the swimming pool.See you soon again.

Room was clean, Swimming Pool was my favourite part about the place, really nice design and it has a deep water section which isn't easy to find nowadays. Room was spacious and had everything ready

Room service took longer than expected and had to be reminded twice to fulfill my request. I did not like that when I ordered food from outside the hotel, nobody agreed to deliver it to the room and I had to go down to get it from the lobby.

The property was in a great location, close to everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It wasn’t surprising, given that Abu Dhabi is a top tourist destination, but it was still great to experience such a safe and hospitable environment.

While the property has great potential, there were a few things that disappointed us during our stay. When we arrived, we were assisted by a trainee who struggled to find our booking in the system. This caused unnecessary delays and confusion, and it was concerning that such a busy hotel in an international tourist destination had a trainee handling check-ins without proper supervision. Eventually, we had to ask for someone else to assist. Another issue was around breakfast. We initially believed that breakfast was included in our booking, but it turned out it wasn’t. What made this frustrating was the lack of communication—no one informed us of breakfast prices, shared a menu, or even offered the option to add it to our stay. Lastly, we were surprised that the hotel didn’t offer any shuttle services to nearby malls, train stations, or tourist attractions—something we experienced at other hotels in Abu Dhabi. There was also no information provided about transport options, which would have been helpful for guests unfamiliar with the area.

The room is spacious and modern. Overall the rooms have a timeless appeal and never out of style. The rooftop bar opens up to the pool and has a lovely menu where you can relax an afternoon away. The restaurants are lovely and has live music in the evenings.

I love this place! When I am in Abu Dhabi on business, there is no better value. The rooms are big and stylish. The bed is great. And the breakfast is awesome.

We booked a room only and did not get the chance to visit the pool, but from check-in to check-out, the entire team was approachable and very attentive. Their smiles were genuine, and their service was outstanding. I may not be able to name each of them, but they were 100% active and dedicated throughout their shifts. For me, this is a 5-star hotel experience. The room was clean, and the washroom was especially well-maintained. Great job to the Housekeeping Team!

Beautiful Rooms, close to the Corniche. Friendly staaf, had a good chat with Guru at the pool. Restaurants in the hotel are good.
