We love it there, it was a short trip but we would love to go back there. Staff and their service is really exceptional very friendly. I like the decoration I asked them to do in our room to celebrate, it was beautriful. Nice pool and beach. We didn't even left the hotel as we were busy enjoying it.

There is nothing that we didin't liked to be honest we just loved it definitely going back there.

We had an absolutely exceptional 5-day stay at the Shangri-La Abu Dhabi! From the moment we arrived, the service was truly outstanding. A special thank you to Hu, Monsaaf, and Risham at the reception for their warm welcome and incredible professionalism. Pooch and Ruvi at the Executive Lounge went above and beyond every day to make our experience unforgettable. A big shout-out to Shyamali and Shiwaly from housekeeping for keeping everything immaculate with such kindness and attention to detail. We’re also extremely grateful to the pool staff and the breakfast team — their friendly service and dedication made each day start and end on a perfect note. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful hotel with absolutely incredible service from start to finish.

Not enough sun beds at the pool

Everything was well. From Siju at the entrance to Michelle at the counter. All the people are kind and helpfull. Service is very good, the breakfast is lovely. The room are very good with a nice view on the Mosque.

More info about the hotel facilities and discounts/app must be provided upon check-in. Curtains must be washed/changed. AC can not be adjusted, it will anyway cool your room to the freezing degrees, so we slept with open balcony. TV is really old.

We loved the horizon lounge food, staff and over all vibe was amazing

Our room never got cleaned until house keeping nicked out door at 5pm we were in the room getting showered and dressed for going out so were unable to get our room cleaned. We would have prefer this to have been done in the morning as we were out of our room from 9am.

Meals are expensive

Service was really good and many compliments to Brahma from house keeping who took good care of us during our entire stay.

The best hotel in the UAE, everything was perfect: the room, the breakfast, the exterior, the staff... The place is calm and exotic. Thanks to the whole team, especially Rahim and Usman, and to many others whose names we unfortunately did not note.

After a horrific experience in ras al khaimah Sofitel and exit the hotel just after an hour after check-in, we moved to abu dhabi and chose Shangrila for our next stay and were very skeptical but the way they welcomed us and provided on spot services on one call was mind blowing. They upgraded us without asking and ensure we had a pleasant stay and explore around completely. Great Breakfast, amazing view. An amazing staycation after we were traumatized. 5 stars to the place and services❤️❤️

Breakfast choices. It’s a little far from the City. The adjoining Souk is not as good as it used to be.

Very friendly staff, we even were able to have a late check out which helped us a lot! Also to mention is the shanghai bar with their excellent signature cocktails, loved them!

when you arrive for dinner the table allocation and ordering of beverages is sometimes a bit unorganized

Everyone was very friendly, honeymoon setting was beautiful. Swimming pool is very clean. It was extremely pleasant to stay here. I would definitely revisit this hotel.

Thanks to the admin reception and housekeeping staff who made our evening wonderful with birthday decorations for my wife, it was amazing surprise! We loved and thanks to you all for making it happen. Boat staff Rahim is amazing guy!! We need more of ever-smiling person like him in our planet. We went for second round of boat trip just to spend more time with him. Plus point he’s not just nice person but also amazing photo grapher!! We wanted to come again for more nicer photos with more outfits 😃.

I’m giving 1 less star for one specific staff when having breaks fast otherwise it was amazing experience staying there. But we are never coming back unfortunately because of her!! In negative side, during breakfast staff named Mildred embarrassed us by shouting in loud voice when we ask if we could take one white bread for our son sleeping in the room. She was very impolite and said loudly ok I will give you only for today but with exception only for today. It was made clear don’t even ask tomorrow by stating only for today 2 times. It would have been expressed in more professional way and we would accept even the refusal. Basically this event left guest from other table watching us. We ended up giving this bread back to her (how can we accept it wish such embarrassment) and rush to check out hotel to go buy the bread for my 2 years old baby.

Staff was absolutely amazing and go above and beyond for you. The horizon club is definitely worth it to upgrade to. Thank you for everything!

Just the overall experience. The traditional, Emirati design of the hotel, fantastic pool area and the staff. Also loved the room with view of beach and mosque.

Nothing really. You could be very picky and say that cocktails at the pool bar could be a bit 'higher end' looking & tasting for a 5star hotel like Shangri-La

Very friendly staff, very accommodating and the thoughtful touches, such as roses in the room and positioning family bookings in adjoining rooms were much appreciated. Overall, a happy stay.

Lack of sockets by the bedside was a little inconvenient. The shower leaking out of the bottom wasn't ideal but could be fixed easily.

We had a garden room and it was lovely. The pool areas are great and the location quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. The evening buffet was fantastic with so much choice.

Nothing close by to walk to. The Souk was deserted and very few shops open.
