Zagame’s House, Melbourne

The rooms are gorgeous and the beds are simply divine. As someone who travels down to Melbourne almost every month, this is my favorite stay so far!

Awesome facilities and great food in the restaurant, close to amazing restaurants and theatre’s, had a very enjoyable experience.

Parking was a little excessive but it is the city

Rooms are small, would like to have a thick curtain for the window as the sheer is not enough. Lobby is too dark during the day

Cool, funky decor throughout the hotel, rooms are spacious and tastefully lit. Location on Lygon Street is a major drawcard and off street parking is secure and convenient

Updated and nicely furnished High quality amenities. They went above and beyond to make guests comfortable and well taken care of.

very chic-boutique hotel

Location is close to restaurants and theatres. Car parking available on site. The cocktail bar is a lovely place to relax and have a drink prior to dinner in Lygon Street. Even though the hotel is situated on a busy corner our room was extremely quiet. Breakfast downstairs offered many choices all presented beautifully. Great coffee. All staff encountered are friendly, helpful and professional. I have enjoyed a few stays at Zagames House and would recommend it as a convenient stopover.

Very nice environment. I loved the reception and breakfast area. The winery-restaurant is very beautiful with a lot of character and taste. The rooms are well decorated. The staff is very kind, friendly and very helpful

Great location, close to Lygon street and Melbourne university. Nice, comfortable cozy room with comfortable bed. Pleasantly surprised as it was a last minute booking on the day and fortunately there was a room available. Bedroom slippers and bath robes were nice touches.

Modern hotel in a great location on Lygon St, and very friendly staff. Loved the decor and the bed was very comfortable. I love that it's pet-friendly as well. Will bring my dog back next time!

Location, luxury feel for a great price and easy onsite parking

Paying $35 for parking which we believe should be included Bathroom needs stronger fan for steam extraction and solid sliding door, although the door is amazing to look at it’s not practical

The staff was very helpful, giving us suggestions of what to do in the area, where to eat, and how to get around. The suggestions were all good. The lobby was comfortable and the breakfast was great.

The room was a little small. The bathroom and bedroom were divided by a transluscent glass divider, with the toilet right next to the bed.

The room was cozy, the bed was super comfortable. The service was amazing. Someone smoked in the rooms and the smell went through the vents into my room, and they were very kind to change my room on the last night of stay. There’s a wine bar just opposite the reception with delicious food options. It was an awesome stay.

Rooms need better lighting. Location is easy walking distance to the city but not much happening in immediate vicinity. A bit of a walk along Lygon Street to find better restaurants and good shopping.

A little pricey for the location

Beautiful contemporary, clean rooms with all required modern facilities. Very comfy bed and pillows. The staff were excellent - extremely helpful and accomodating and even organised an early check in for us.

This just ticks all the boxes for travelling people who like a comfortable relaxed place to stay which has a decetn vibe and contempory designs...... I really like this hotel.

Bathroom in the twin share was super transparent and not soundproofed, which could be awkward!

The tap over the hand basin was set low and made it very difficult to get water into the kettle.

We love the warm welcome, the personal connections, the creative furnishings and comfortable rooms, the location on Lygon Street with so many interesting restaurants nearby and the city is close.

I am a repeat visitor to Zagame's House. It is a fantastic location, great room and friendly staff.

The style of the rooms and the offerings. The level of quiet in the rooms considering the busy street below Access to a laundry for washing our clothes. Close to amazing restaurants.

Pillows on the beds aren't overly comfy. They're a little too firm. No nearby tram access. Would prefer a buffet breakfast over a menu. No discount for parking, particularly if staying for more than one night - $35 per day is quite steep.

Modern and cozy accommodation. Very close by to many eateries and tram stations.
